As I didn't like the ending of the last episode of BSG, I have created a neat crossover: What if when they found the planet, they weren't the first to find it. A certain Gamma site, and a stargate :), oh and this is during season 9, but before all hell breaks loose in the finale.
"Report!" Adama ordered the team that had just returned from surveying the planet that they had found.
"20 percent of the planet can sustain limited human life, but it doesn't seem very hosbitable. And it's already occupied. It appears to be a military base."
"Cylon?"
"No, sir. There would be some ships in orbit. These apear to be humans, sir. Should we make contact. In the very least to restock on water and food suplies?"
"Captain Threse, put a team together."
"Yes sir."
The group left the room, while Tigh sighed, "She just got back, and your putting her on a diplomatic mission?"
"Thought I owed her a chance to go down to the serfice, after all, it was because of her rescue mission that we found the planet."
Gamma Site
Lt. Colonel Carter, Colonel Mitchel, and Dr. Jackson were on the newly established Gamma site, after the Orae threat had been assessed, and this planet had been found, they decided it would be a great place to work on the more sensitife scientific projects. The three from SG-1 were there to make sure that no unfriendlies were on the planet, before the scientists were left alone with just a few assigned marrines.
"Another beautiful morning on P3X-978!" Mitchel said with mock cheerfulness. "Why would we ever establish a base on this god awful planet anyway. It's rained for a straight week, and this is the carribean part of the planet."
Sam, who was looking at a piece of technology found in england months before, "Because there is a natural energy barrier which keeps any kind of sensor to even know that this planet is here."
Mitchel sighed, and went outside again, but immideatly returned, "I think your theory is flawed."
"Why?"
"Because a strange ship just landed on our doorstep."
TBC...
A/N: When we return, Starbuck meets SG-1, and oh, will it be good!
