Tatooine, Mos Eisley

Tatooine was as humid as ever, most possibly his least favorite planet among the hundreds that existed in the galaxy all together and always dreaded missions here whenever one would occur. Though his official business here will be swift he still hated the heat bearing down on his skin. The job was simple, but risky. All he needed to do was grab something from a client, meet up with the rest of the fleet and than deliver it to somewhere he needed to go, classified info really. The risky part was him leaving the ship in orbit, bringing a few troopers with him on the ground when he could've just stayed on the Star Destroyer, only reason he didn't was due to the fact he enjoyed the thrill of action, and on solid ground was also better than being in space. Though, he would need to stay in contact with them to get updates on the creature- NBT. Why was it his troopers that liked to name everything they come across? Not even good names either.

But, Speaking of the creature. He wondered what it was doing on the ship at the moment.

Tatooine Orbit

Imperial Star Destroyer

"The Thorn"

TK-117 dodged another attempt of NBT trying to steal his blaster, roughly pushing the tendrils away, disgruntled. "Can someone find something for this thing to fix? It's taken my blaster five times in the last minute" he grunted, pushing away the curious creature.

TK-199 laughed a bit. "Leave it be dude, he ain't hurting anyone" he then paused for a moment, glancing at the creature. "Actually I don't think this question has been established yet, you male-" He got a shake. "So female?" Another shake of the head. "Non-binary?" A coo in response.

"So 'their not hurting anyone' would be a more appropriate, term wise" The Medical trooper spoke up, no one knew why he was there, he just was. So everyone in the room stared at him for a painful minute.

TK-117 shrugged his shoulders. "Sure, whatever" he turned his attention to NBT before tilting his head to the side. "Wait, hold on." He pointed at the alien. "Are you the 'ghost' that's been spooking everyone down in the cafeteria whenever there was someone alone?" NBT shook their head.

"Ghost?" TK-199 sounded confused, leaning to the side. "How come I haven't heard of a ghost on the ship before?" He looked over at the other Trooper for clarification, though he was looking at the ever so silent TK-178.

TK-117 answered the inquiry. "You normally don't go into the cafeteria often do you?" He asked, TK-199 shrugged his shoulders. "Apparently the Caf is haunted, some ghost spooking the other troopers, items being thrown around when no one is even near it, one time everything was knocked over with the utensils in the kitchen on the ground. An Imperial officer got real mad, TK-589 and TK-590 had kitchen duty for weeks because he thought it was them"

"Maybe it's because they're the resident trouble makers?" TK-199 rolled his shoulders. "Surprisingly those two aren't fired yet, or dead"

"They're twins right?" TK-117 added curiously, TK-178 nodded his head. "Makes sense to be honest, you can't separate those two no matter what." He laughed a bit before noticing something was off. "Hey wait a minute, where's NBT"

The small group went quiet for a moment before 178 shook his head and 199 jumped out of his seat to quickly glance around the room frantically. "Shiiiiiit, Commanders gonna kill us if he finds out" Commander Watch had went down with the Admiral to the planet of Tatooine, and had left the small squad of three in charge of the alien, and now that it was running around the ship-

"You go down the left hallway, I'll go down the right- 178 you uh, do your thing" TK-117 said before the two troopers bolted out of the room going in separate directions to look for NBT. TK-178 stood there awkwardly before sighing, he walked out of the room, looking around the area before walking his own way calmly.

Front Deck

General Harpy tapped his chin at the hologram in front of him, turning to look at an Imperial Officer besides him. "What do you make of it" he inquired, motioning to it. It was a very blurry image, it was tall figure, holding some kind of energy weapon that reminded Harpy of a lightsaber but he couldn't tell if it had two blades or one it was too blurry.

"Some kind of humanoid sir" The officer replied, a bit confused. "It's too blurry to tell, why do you ask if I may?" She tilted her head to the side.

He went right into the story. "A few years ago, a squad of troopers went on a mission on Hoth, some disturbance or something I don't remember" he looked at the hologram. "Only thing they were able to retrieve was a helmet and a video recording within, though you can barely see anything" He tapped the button on the console, and a video played.

It was a short video playing on the hologram it was blurry but the creature was clearly moving around, while the trooper in the recording was scrambling back frantically as it approached. "Nishum," It seemed to speak in its own tongue, words he didn't recognize. "Gah raykoh" It raised it's sword, the trooper raised his arm to block it. "Keeoh-eesay!" The recording glitched out and freezed on that image.

"What is that?" The Officer mumbled in wonder, tilting her head to the side. "Is that all the recordings we have? How come no one knows about this, or if they do why isn't anyone talking about it"

"Because the empire wants to keep this classified, However I showed you because I trust you" The General looked over at her. "Whatever this thing is, it's stumped us for years, the weapon it used is some kind of oddly modified light saber, but it isn't a Jedi. It's-"

"Sir? We have a situation" Harpy paused at the sound of the comm in his ear going off, he leaned back to pressed down on it.

"What is it trooper, I'm busy and how did you-"

There was no delay in interrupting the General as the trooper responded. "I think we may have some intruders" Responded the trooper. "In the hangar, an unknown ship is-" Than he was met with static in his ear causing General Harpy to flinch in surprise.

"Trooper-" he tried, only getting the same response of constant static. "Interference" he mumbled, than turned to an officer at a console. "Sitrep men, I want to know what happened with the communication"

"Jammed sir" Responded the Officer. "All 'round the ship nor down to Admiral Parker on Tatooine" he turned to look at Harpy. "Whoever these guys are, they seem to know what they're doing" That caused Harpy to scoff, but turned away in thought. How would he warn the troopers of the breachers if communications were temporarily down?

"What about the alarm system, is that fully functional?" General Harpy turned to another Officer, who was about to speak up when the lights suddenly went out. Harpy stiffened his shoulder as the blast doors suddenly shut, making a noise to indicate that it was locked. "Nevermind" he mumbled. "Looks like we're locked in, how long until we can get the systems back online?" He turned to the female officer who looked up from a console.

"Twenty minutes, somehow these guys managed to get past the security system before they boarded"

"I'll give you ten, get those lights back on and someone find a way to open that God damn door!"

Somewhere with TK-178

The trooper had been jogging down to the engine room when the lights shut off, slowing down to a stop TK-178 glanced around curiously before searching his belt for a flashlight he always kept on him. Messing with it a bit he turned it on and shined it in front of him, the erie hallway, thinking it was some electrical problem 178 casually made his way down the hallway and to the engine room, when he got there the blast doors were open, no sign of anyone inside either when he walked in. All was silent, normally the Engineers would be working down here on the engine, apparently it needed constant tinkering or something like that he didn't know. TK-178 paused at the small sound in the corner of the room, tilting his head to the side he shined the flashlight over there and sighed in relief.

NBT poked their head around the corner, Cooing softly as TK-178 walked over and patted the alien on the head, he noticed it looked a bit frightened of something and tilted his head and tried to calm it down a bit by petting it softly on the head. He would talk to it but- that would break his vow of silence. NBT cooed at him again, but their head snapped up and thrilled with fright at something behind him. TK-178 whipped around just as a blaster connected with his helmet.

TK-117 and TK-199

The two troopers nearly ran into each other when turning the same corner, stumbling about before gaining balance. "Did you find 'em?" TK-199 asked, panting a bit, having to lean against the wall from the sudden fright 117 gave him. "Because I'm this close to throwing myself out into space so Commander Watch doesn't shove a blaster up my ass"

"Oh please, suffocating in space would be far worse than a blaster shot" TK-117 breathed in response, shaking his head. He seemed to have been running as hard as TK-199 was because he was tired as all hell. "No, I didn't find NBT, I wonder if 178 has found him"

199 tilted his head to the side. "Speakin' of the mute" he glanced around. "Where is he? If anyone he should have been the one to find Notorious blaster thief by now" That got a shrug from his squad mate, then the lights suddenly flicked off and the two troopers glanced up. "Well that's convenient"

TK-117 snorted. "Great, probably some technical problem. The backup generators will kick in soon" He crossed his arms and waited, so did TK-199, swaying back and forth awkwardly, the backup lights didn't come on and TK-117 tilted his head to the side. "Ok, that must be a technical problem too" he shifted to turn around. "Let's go-" he was about to say they should go to the cafeteria when a scream came from down the corridor, sounding painful and shrill.

"Ghost!" Cried TK-199.

"No you idiot, that came down from the engine room, c'mon" TK-117 bolted down the hallway, TK-199 paused for a moment, hesitating before running after the other trooper, fumbling for a flashlight. Once they reached the room TK-117 skidded to a stop, TK-199 nearly slammed into him trying to stop, slippery floor. "Watch it"

"Sorry sorry" 199 awkwardly responded, leaning away from 117, squinting down at his flashlight he messed with the button before realizing after a minute that all he had to do to turn it on was push a button. He did so and shined the flashlight across the room, the two froze at the sight in front of them.

"TK-178!"

To be continued….

Some chapters may be longer, or shorter than others. Just saying this now because I'm a lazy motherfucker. :)

Also wanted to point out that TK-117 isn't master chief, just a stormtrooper with the same number.

Also wanted to mention another thing- There won't be any canon characters from Halo in this story, but I'm not bringing in the UNSC or the Spartans. Though some Covenant will show up, not just NBT- if I can even get the to five or more chapter, THIS IS TWO KDHDIDBSDKBD

Oh yeah, Darth vader might show up later, I'm planning on having him interact with NBT at some point in the future since I am going to continue this- At least in my own snails pace.
