Author's Note: It's been a while. During the past few years, I graduated college in May with a degree in Psychology. I got a job at my old high school and am now a full blown adult. It's crazy to think how when I started this account 8 years ago, I was a 9th grader looking to bring my ideas to life. I met some pretty amazing people along the way and have read some pretty epic stories I wish were still uploaded. This idea came to me at my job and I knew I had to write it. It's a mix of both canon and my own headcanons so don't take it seriously, it's FanFiction written by a 22 year old for a 10 year old Disney Channel TV Show. :) I don't own A&A.

No One's POV

People say you only live once. But people are wrong about that as they are about everything. 10 years ago, the start of a perfect chapter book unfolded. Each chapter revealed a new life. And just like storms, the chapters are ever-changing, constantly being rewritten and retold. Each day, a new story is told, replacing the previous one. Our story starts on a magical December day in 2021 and currently takes place 10 years later. But the story isn't done being written. This chapter, however, does have a beginning, a middle, and an end. It lives once, but is told endlessly as each author has their own rendition of this classic tale.

Ally walked into the kitchen with her daughter, Ava, by her side, nose in a book about the US Capitals. They sat down at the kitchen island, waiting for something more to happen.

"Mommy, when are Uncle Dez and Auntie Carrie coming?" Ava asked.

"They'll be here soon. Their flight got delayed in Arkansas." Ally said.

"Little Rock is the capital of Arkansas."

"Very good, Ava."

"I'm currently obsessed with the capitals. I could list all 51 plus territories right now. I borrowed this book from the library. It goes into the history of each capital. There are sections on locations and population and the reason why each city was chosen. Mrs. Marano recommended it to me."

"That's great, Ava."

As the wooden front door drew open, a cool breeze tumbled throughout the pastel dirty green and gold living room. Ally loved seemingly random breezes, almost as much as she loved her husband and the mini version of her husband standing in the doorway.

"Alex, how was gymnastics?" Ally asked.

"Great mommy! Phoenix was there and we had fun! They showed me a new tumble. They were so good at it!" Alex said.

"I'm glad your favorite instructor was there, you seem to like them very much. Are you hungry?" Ally said.

"Yes!" both blondes replied.

"Well then, Mr. Perfectly Hungry, how about you help me make our anniversary dinner. Like the good ol' days." Ally said.

"Sounds perfect, Ally." Austin said.

"Kids, get started on your homework and by the time you're done, dinner will be ready."

Ally watched as her two worlds' ran to their bedrooms. She heard two doors shut and the fridge open. Austin helped her take out everything needed to make the perfect pasta sauce for her classic anniversary dinner.

"What are we feeling, Ally, shells or bow ties?" Austin said.

"Definitely shells . Can you grate parmesan." Ally replied.

"Um yeah. Hold on, I'm getting a call from Dez."

Ally turned on the stovetop and began to heat up some olive oil. She chopped up garlic and onion and sautéed until soft. By the time she got to the canned tomatoes, Austin was done with his phone call.

"Dez, Carrie, and Hayden will be here in 30 minutes."

"Perfect. Can you get another box of shells from the pantry? I'm assuming they're hungry for dinner."

"Dez told me he almost ate the snacks meant for Hayden. Carrie gave him the death-stare though."

"It's so funny how much they still act like a couple."

"It's so funny how they once were a couple."

"I guess it's different with a child. It's not like they broke up because they stopped loving each other.

"Simply fell in love with other people. The sauce is boiling by the way, Ally."

"Bring to boil, reduce to simmer.'' Ally sing-songed.

"You watch way too much Food Network."

Ally gave her husband a laugh and turned the temperature down on the sauce. She stirred it a few times and added some extra salt and pepper. She felt a buzzing in her back pocket.

"Trish, hello!" Ally said.

"Ally, hey I'm going to be at your house in five or so minutes." Trish said on the other line.

"So 15 minutes, got it."

"Ally! I have never been that late in my life."

"Trish, you were late to your own divorce."

"We don't talk about that."

"My point stands." Ally chuckled.

"Anyway, 10 minutes, promise." Trish said with a serious tone.

"Okay, 10 minutes."

Ally hung up and couldn't help but smile. Trish was notorious for being late for everything. She was late to countless Team Austin and Ally meetings. She was late to Austin and Ally's wedding. She was even late to her own divorce court hearing, which made it way easier to get divorced as that was one of the inciteful differences her and Jace had.

The salted pasta started to boil and Ally added the two boxes of bow-tie. Austin finished grating the cheese and Ally added the rind to the sauce. She sat down at the island and Austin joined her. As Austin cut the bread, Ally made the garlic butter. She moved the vase of 10 red roses to the living room table, not wanting them to get knocked over. Ally picked up the card and reread it for the 100th time that day: Ally, a lot can happen in 10 years. We traveled the world, had two beautiful children, and most importantly, I've spent the last 10 years calling you my wife. Happy Anniversary, Treble. Love, 8th Note. She smiled at Austin's few words that spoke a thousand and thought of a thousand more.

"Ally, do you remember 9 years ago when we saw Wicked on Broadway and spent the day in New York City?" Austin said.

"I do. It was my favorite trip to New York City. We got to do so many things." Ally said.

"Do you remember your favorite part?"

"Of course, it's that Polaroid we took in front of Radio City Music Hall."

Ally was expecting a response but nothing. She took this as a sign for something yet to come. Ally took out the cheese rind and added freshly chopped basil. Austin took a small spoon and tasted his wife's traditional sauce.

"How is it?" Ally said.

"Perfect as always." Austin said.

Ally reached up to meet her husband for the perfect kiss. It was magical and the moment only lasted for a second. The wooden door swung open again, revealing a very glamorous Trish, exactly 5 minutes late.

"Trish!" Ally ran over to hug her best friend, "You're exactly 5 minutes late."

"It must be a new record." Trish laughed, "Happy anniversary!"

"Thanks, Trish." Austin said.

Ally and Trish made their way over to the gray loveseat. The navy blue pillows were perfectly fluffed and the matching throw blanket laid perfectly over the back of the bigger couch.

"Ally, these roses are beautiful. Austin really knows exactly what you like." Trish said.

"It took him a while but he finally got it right." Ally giggled.

"Are Dez and Carrie coming?"

"They should be here soon. Wanna help with the salad?"

"Sure!"

Ally meticulously hovered over Trish like she was competing on Iron Chef America and this salad was her ticket to beating Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli. Of course, this annoyed Trish but she was just happy to be back in Miami once again. In the grand scheme of things, 6 months isn't a long time, but for Ally and Trish, it was an eternity worth waiting for.

The final knock of the night struck at exactly 6pm. When Ally opened the door she was thrilled to see Dez, Carrie, Hayden, and a large black suitcase.

"Dez! Carrie! Hayden! We're so happy you're finally here." Ally said.

"It's great to be on land. The flights were pretty rough." Dez said.

"I spilled Sprite on myself. It was awful." Carrie said.

"Do you need to clean up?" Ally said.

"It was at the beginning of the first flight, it's dry by now. It was a terrible wake up call though." Carrie said.

"I can only imagine, Carrie." Ally said.

"What's that smell Auntie Ally?" Hayden said.

"Dinner! I'm sure you're hungry." Ally said.

"You bet!" Hayden said.

As if they both had a 6th sense, Ava and Alex ran into the living room, happy as ever to see their "cousin". The reunion was great and full of family love. Alex grabbed Hayden's hand and practically dragged him to him and Ava's play-corner. Laughs filled the room as the kids played like they hadn't seen each other in months.

Ally walked into the living room and said, "Dinner will be buffet style with the dishes on the island and we will be sitting at the table. Please be mindful of cross-contamination. Enjoy!"

"Before you all have a taste of my wife's amazing food, let me say a few words about her. Ally, these past 10 years, we've been through it all. We had two beautiful children, Ava Nicole and Alex Ethan. Produced three albums together. And toured the world as a duo. It's been a hell of a ride and I'm so happy I've been traveling this road with the woman I love the most. Ally, you're my writer and I'm your rocker, together, we made it. Happy 10 year anniversary, there's no way I can make it without you."

Ally was brought to tears by her husband's remarks. Austin was always good with words that weren't songs and it showed. A tear rolled down Ally's blushed cheek and fell to the ground below. A roar of applause surrounded her but Ally didn't notice, she didn't care to notice, all that mattered was her and Austin.

"Austin, I-"

"Just come here"

Mirroring the same moment from 18 years ago, Austin embraced Ally like he fell in love with her all over again. Like it was 18 years ago. Like they were just Austin and Ally all over again. Like it was the very first moment all over again.

"Team Ally!" Dez yelled.

"Dez, it's been 15 years, I think they won in the end." Trish said.

"I think so too." Dez responded.

Ally wiped away her tears and thanked Austin for his words louder than actions. A sea of smiles waved throughout the living room. Friendship and love overpowered any other emotion in the room. They seemingly fell in love all over again.

Ally kissed Austin's cheek and wanted the moment to never end but human nature soon took over, "It's time we eat." Ally whispered into his ear.

"I agree."

"After all these years you still know all the right words to say. Austin, I-"

"Shhh, just come here."

It was as if the world stopped just for a moment just for a memory, just for them. When Ally was with Austin, time didn't matter, nothing matters more. She fell in love all over again just like the first time just like the last time just like every time she's with him.

Music sung from the speakers was a song they knew all too well. The song that started it all, last summer we met.

"Austin, words cannot describe what you mean to me. The way you make me feel is unlike anything else on this planet. This journey we've been on is ever changing in all the right ways. Seeing the world, having the kids, being with each other, it's enough. You're enough. This world we built together is exactly how I want it to be, everchanging. I love you, Austin."

After everyone left, Austin and Ally danced the night away to the song that started it all. It was a slow dance, long enough to remember everything in their storybook. From the very first songwriting session to the night, Ally conquered her biggest fear when they were 22 and two in a million on The Helen Show.

Everything changed from that moment on. They started yet another new chapter with the world they created. With each new event, words were written and stories were shared. However, the most important theme of all is friendship. Friendship is the foundation that Austin and Ally are built on. Without friendship, there would be no making it without you.

This classic tale ends, but Austin and Ally's story lives on forever. They don't live once but instead live on forever, as the Internet is forever. Retelling their story once again has been amazing. I don't know if this is the last story I will tell. People change. Happy 10 Year Anniversary Austin & Ally, there's no way I could've made it without you.

Fin.
