Other Sides
by: La Suede

He never thought he would see that other side of Stella Bonasera, that cute, slightly childish side who still slept with stuffed animals in the bed or who wore a nightgown with glow-in-the-dark spiders on black background. In fact he never thought he would see any other side of Stella Bonasera than the though woman he worked with every day (or the hot-dog-eating, making-him-pay-up-for-a-silly-bet woman). But he was glad she had let him see the other sides.

The Stella who was currently curled up on her side with a St Bernad Dog pressed against her chest was so much more than the crime fighting woman he first got to know. She was an incurable optimist, she was a fantastic story teller, a hobbey top chef and in every possible way, the woman of his dreams.

But it had not always been like that. Stella got to know him at quite possibly the lowest point in his life. His wife had just died and he had no idea how to begin to puzzle back the man he used to be. And maybe that was why she succeeded with what no-one eles had done, Stella had no idea of who he used to be, no guidelines on how to slowe the puzzel of Mac Taylor. So she did what seemed most logical to her, she tried and fail and tried again until all the pieces where in their right spot.

He had no idea why she made him her prodject, her good deed, but he was glad that she did. It had left them with a solid friendship, a friendship which was easy to turn into someting more given the right opportunity. That opportunity had come and been used successfully resulting in Stella beeing curled up right next to him. Giving him the opportunity to fully explore the many new sides of the enigma that was Stella Bonasera.
