Authors Note

Hi all. So MaddyeTrager asked me some questions about how this story got started so as requested I will share the questions and answers with all of you.

Again I want to say thank you for all of the support. And for those who are asking I know I updated yesterday and the reveal wasn't there but the next chapter will reveal who had been watching Jax and Haley.

1: What inspired you to write fic that way?

The main Sons of Anarchy saga I have been writing over the past few years (Home Sweet Home, Fighting Back, Everything Changes, Fractured and Broken) are all based around the show. But now and then I like to write a story that doesn't follow the show just to try and get the creative juices flowing a bit.

2: Which scene did you put in first?

First scene was the party scene with Haley ending up in the diner (Chapter 2). I had brainstormed a lot of scenarios of how I wanted to go but that was where I started, and then I just put a bit of story before that and then obviously continued. I just wanted there to be a proper moment between Haley and Jax.

3: What is your favorite storyline?

Im not sure really.

My favourite chapter is actually is probably Chapter 1

I would love to hear what everyone else's favourite chapter so far is.

4: What is your favorite line of dialogue?

In the first chapter, and exchange between Jax and Haley, it was small but I think as the story has progressed I feel like it shows from chapter 1 that Jax always saw Haley for who she was and how great of a person was, long before Sam realised it in some ways.

"My brother is a dick if he doesn't see it."

"See what?"

"She you."

Again I would love to hear what everyone else's favourite bit of dialogue is

5: Which part was more difficult to write?

Interactions between Sam and Jax surrounding Haley. I have been finding the most recent chapters (and chapters that I haven't published yet) hard to write as I want to make sure I am keeping the dialogue in line with the characters, so the characters that we see on SOA like Gemma, Clay and Jax to the characters that I have created Haley, Sam, Chrissie and Daniel.

6: What is your special fic or different from all your other fic?

I think this one is different ,as mentioned above , this story doesn't follow the show and I think the pairing is a bit more unique than other stories that I have written

7: Where did the title come from?

Title was a bit of a play on words. This is a love triangle but there will only be on true love

8: Did any real person or event inspire any part of this?

No real event inspired this, however I may have taken some dialogue from some real life situations.

9: Was there an alternative version of this fic?

No alternative version as such, but I did start writing this in 2014 and then went on a very long hiatus. When coming back to Fanfiction I realised that another writer had taken on this story and continued where I had left off and started writing their own version of it. This has since been removed.

10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?

Well I'm a big Jax fan and I haven't actually written a fic with Jax as a romantic lead since my first fic The Return. I re-read this now and there are many things I would change however it was my first proper writing debut so I am proud of it.

11: What do you like most about this fic?

Haley. I like the character arch I am building for her again she is a different character to any I have written before.

12: What do you like least about this fic?

I don't dislike anything participially although some chapters upon review, I may have changed slightly

13: What song do you want, if any, to make you want to write this story? Or, if it's still nothing, what do you think students will hear to accompany us during the reading?

I listen to various music when I write, but there is no specific song that I would attach to this story. But if it helps I listen to a lot of indie rock.

14: Is there anything you would like readers to learn from reading this fic?

Nope. I just want people to enjoy the story but I don't think there are any major life lessons to learn from this but if people do that's great.

15: What did you learn when writing this fic?

That writers block can be a serious thing.
