There are those that seek out the Truth for others. There are those that deny the Truth, deep inside. And then there are those that know the Truth, and do their part to impart it unto the people around them.

Ruby watched a clock tick by, the second hand had a tiny emblem of Beacon on the end of it. On the minute hand, was a cursive B.
Does Atlas have the same kind of decorative stuff? Or is it all stuffy, and standard? I bet Weiss-
"Ruby!" Yang ruffled Ruby's hair. "Don't look so down! It's our turn." The elder sister took Ruby by the hand, and into the demonstration area.
Inside a steel cage, a vicious Grimm rattled about, teeth gnashing.
Ruby winced. Trapped, like an animal. And then, the beast wrapped its jaws around a bar of the cage, and Ruby suddenly stopped feeling bad for the creature.
'What kind of Grimm is this?' She asked.
"It's a Vespertilio Strigi. It's just called a Vesper, usually." The bat-like creature sported 6 wings, 2 of which looked redundant.
Ruby read the information tidbit on the whiteboard.
These creatures normally reside in caves, dense forests, and in coves beneath hills and mountains. They are stealthy creatures, but cannot see, relying on echolocation and dread to track down their victims. Their main prey is small children.
Yang grinned. "C'mon, it's about to start."
Yang pulled Ruby along, and Ruby was suddenly excited. "What kind of Huntsman could bring in such a small, nimble Grimm in time for a demonstration?"
Yang didn't even have time to answer.
Professor Port, a rather, er, portly, man, introduced the guest as he entered. "Visiting from Atlas, please welcome Ras Ae."
The man looked rather trimmed, his white hair fresh cut, his dark blue eyes were tired yet still clear. He hefted what looked like a cross between a lacrosse net and a spear.
"Thank you! As you can see, the Grimm I've brought in is a rather feisty specimen. Shall we have a look?"
He struck the cage restraining the Grimm, and the beast flew out instantly.
"Aha!" The Huntsman exclaimed. "Still as spry as ever!"
The Vesper squeaked and screeched, flying in place as it flapped its wings, attempting to intimidate, its pale red, almost pink, eyes flashing in the artificial light.
"The creature is completely blind, but he's got a better awareness than most Grimm. Now, let's put him down before he gets any ideas." Right as he took a step, the beast shot right for the window, screeching out a ear-splitting sonic attack.
Ruby didn't even think about it, brandishing her weapon. It can't get outside, the visitors would be in trouble! She cleaved the relatively small Grimm right in two, down the middle.
For a few seconds, nobody moved.
Then Yang cheered. "Yeah, smart moves, Rubes!"
The Huntsman chuckled. "Maybe a little more spry than I thought."
And with that, Port ended the demonstration, taking Ras into his seculated office to have a firm conversation.
Ruby winced. 'Port seems nice, but he can get really intense about the things he cares about.'
Yang patted her shoulder. "That Huntsman did technically bring a very dangerous Grimm to what was supposed to be a safe environment." Yang reasoned. "At the same time, we're at the center of a Huntsman Academy. I doubt the Grimm would've gotten 100 feet like this."
Ruby nodded, and cleaned off her scythe's edge out of habit, folding her back up to a more manageable size.
Yang yawned, not too excited by the spectacle overall. "How about lunch? I'll get your favorite~" Yang promised.
Ruby smiled, and walked with Yang.
The sisters walked in a pleasant, relaxed silence for a short while as they exited campus, and went into the streets of Vale.
'What do you think of our new teammate?' Ruby finally asked, unable to keep the thought silent any longer.
"Catra's alright." Yang answered simply. "Seems like a troublemaker, so she'll fit right in with the rest of us." Yang teased. Yang was worried about the state Ruby was in, after Weiss' departure back home to Atlas.
A moment passed.
"It isn't your fault, Ruby."
Ruby stiffened. 'But it is, I'm team leader and I-"
"Benvenuta!" The host welcomed the pair, his Southern Mistrali (Italian) thick in his accent, as he smiled brightly. "Table for due?"
Yang nodded. "Yes, please." She shared a look with Ruby. We'll talk about this later.

Winter Schnee was a busy woman, by design. She kept her schedule filled to the brim, and liked it that way. The life of a Specialist wasn't easy, but it gave her freedom from the family and the politics involved. More importantly, it gave her distance between herself and her, ahem, father.

"Miss Schnee!" A grunt, for lack of a better term, ran up to her.
"'What is it? I need to check my flight schedule in person."'
The man lowered his voice. "I just overheard the General talking with your father."
Winter rolled her eyes. No really. What a surprise. But she nodded for him to continue.
"It's your sister, ma'am. Weiss Schnee has returned from Beacon, and says she's not going back."

Ras Ae - From the Greek aƩras, for "air"
Vespertilio - From the Latin for "bat"
