To celebrate the soon-to-be-released port of the Danganronpa games to Nintendo Switch, I figured I would do double drabbles featuring all possible pairings of the Danganronpa survivors. Ideally, I will release one drabble a day and thus be done on release date. As I have never actually worked towards a schedule on , I'd rather keep that promise loose, though.

To "warn" you, not every one of these stories will be outright romantic. In particular stories involving Byakuya as the POV character will be mostly platonic, given as it is really hard for me to imagine scenarios in which Togami has any romantic interest without him being completely OOC. Enough of that, however, let's go!

Byakuya Togami would never say it out loud, but he was quite perplexed ever since the Killing Game picked up steam. Even now, after it concluded, he would be lying if he claimed his confusion had lessened.

This commoner, Makoto Naegi, had been on top of things since passing his Genocide Jack test with flying colours. He solved all the cases basically on his own (no matter what that arrogant detective thought), he even managed to inspire the others (himself included if he were honest about it) in the endgame.

Togami was not ignorant to history: commoners have altered the course of history before. However, those nobodies rising above their station had demonstrated special skills even before their rise.

Makoto Naegi had not; he had been lacking in presence, he had been spineless and ambitionless.

Yet his successes were undeniable. He certainly was the undisputed leader of the survivors. In fact, to his dismay, Togami came to the realisation he was more than happy to support Naegi as well.

Seeing the state of the world, Togami figured he could let this go on and see where Naegi would lead them.

After all, Byakuya Togami was not above having fun sometimes.

There we go. Tomorrow, we will continue with pairing number two.

Since I stole the concept of this story from Rave the Rich's "Rule of 132", I will also steal his concept of giving a hint towards the next pairing: Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.
