The hint for Makoto/Kyoko was a reference to the famous yonkoma, where the heroine Kyoko makes Makoto out to be the heroine of Danganronpa. Double the heroine, double the Danganronpa.

No Greater Love

The Future Foundation killing game had a limitation on all participants, a rule they must not break. Some of those rules were patently absurd, but Kyoko Kirigiri's was perhaps the crudest of the bunch.

Her rule violation, which would be punished by lethal injection, would be to permit Makoto Naegi to survive the next eight hours. Obviously, and that evil bear knew it, Kirigiri could have easily ensured her survival. Even if Naegi had suspected anything, or for that matter even known about it directly, her intellectual capabilities outmatched his and his trusting nature would make him a very easy target.

She had sacrificed him before in search of the truth (she would never learn that Naegi could have beaten her in the trial) before, even if he ended up surviving. Certainly, her own life was worth saving to find out the truth.

Yet, it was not going to happen this time.

She could have made excuses about not wanting to cross a line again or not wanting to give the mastermind the satisfaction.

Her heart would not allow that. After all, the reason why was not very complex.

Kyoko Kirigiri was willing to die for the man she loved.

Time for some controversy: Danganronpa 3 was already pretty bad, but when Kirigiri survived the poisoning it became irredeemable fanservice junk. What a waste of talent and time.

Anyway, the hint for tomorrow is Shawn Spencer.
