Tegan Bishop had blown up the fountain, hiding the rift, at Hidden Kingdom to prevent stronger demons and other baddies from coming out. It was unnecessary, but once she let her lust over-come her there was no stopping her destruction. She had seen Tennessee Wildes get minorly hurt and the dam of energy in her burst outwards. He had been fighting like he usually did and not doing too poorly even in the over-whelming odds. The rest of the coven had been there too, battling valiantly as they had been trained to do. In the end the rift was still open and one of their own had been taken into the unknown; they had lost yet another card. Tegan/The High Priestess and Tennessee/The Emperor wasted no time in giving into their lusts time and time again; Tegan's twin Emersyn Howe/The Empress hung around with the coven more as they consoled one another over the loss of Henley Redd/The Moon. So far, they had lost Cassandra George/The Hierophant, and Lilly Tarbell/The Devil and they were only slightly into their Quest to close all the rifts by Samhain.
"These idiots are going to get us all killed." Roxanne grumbled as she looked on.
The water rippled as the scrying session became instable due to the outburst of disgust.
Alexandra hissed trying to keep their power merged. "Focus! We all felt that surge, and we need to know where they are in the quest." The pool of water became glass like again. "Fools they maybe, they are chaotically powerful, but they are young, uh I mean youngish."
Alex was always the glass half full type, but she tried not to delude herself. Sixteen and Seventeen-year old's should be able to concentrate and get the job done.
They looked on more until Tegan's Mom told her about the soul mate glyph, and they even though the pair could not be together now, there would always be later. They Scrying session was closed as the sixteen-year-old used her power to get into Tennessee's room and the two started another make out session.
"Remind me again WHY the Goddess tasked the B team with the job to close the dangerous clefts between dimensions?" Eryn said with a long sigh.
Two of the gathered shrugged; even though they knew the reason./p
"Everyone knows that the twins of ye old times back in Salem opened it so now the children presently have to close it." Roxanne filled the silence briskly. "It falls under the category who ever smelt it dealt it." She said in a mock academic voice.
Julie stood up and stretched, "Giving them a chance to right the wrong; come full circle, but I am not afraid to say that she is wrong." Julie then went on her brown eyes seeming to glow in the candlelight. "I could feel that surge; we all could, Tegan is just going to end making all the cosmic tears into deep wide-open gashes that no one in any coven will be able to seal.
All the girls could still feel the disruption still washing over them in waves, it ached as it disrupted their nerves, thoughts, and magical energies. At different times in the past few days they felt odd surges, and erratic signatures in their own well learned abilities.
"The Earth does not have time for the Tarot Coven to mature and figure this out!" Roxanne huffed.
Alexandra reluctantly nodded. "It does seem like the leaders are too wrapped up in each other to see clearly."
"The Coven is misguided, blindly waiting on their reluctant leader to make their choices for them." Eryn sighed. span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" /span"Even their Elders have problems working together; they are supposed to be a Coven, not a poorly working congress." She added.
Julie looked at Eryn, Alex, and Roxanne. "Then we go to Florida and try to assist the Tarot Coven." She made air quotes when she said assist. "We are magical Guardians, even though we are, as they call us Sapiens."
Julie found it insulting that the Tarot Coven held themselves in a higher class over some unfounded story.
Roxanne did a little dance. "Look at us we're Witches you lowly Sapiens!"
"Little do they know that in Latin Sapien means wise." Kerstin finally spoke up.
The fifth member of the group had been quiet; she had been meditating and trying to get her thoughts in order.
Julie looked at her friends and nodded. "So, shall we go to Florida?"
Everyone nodded in agreement, Julie brought her arm down in a sweeping arc, and the candles illuminating their space were snuffed out all at once.
