Ends and Beginnings

Ending a relationship was never something pleasant, not even for a serene lady like Kyoko Kirigiri. Yet, she "only" felt philia for Makoto Naegi. There was nothing happening on a more ... animalistic level, and it was neither because she thought he was ugly or because she lacked interest in general. It was just not going to happen; therefore it was unfair to keep up their relationship.

As keeping a friendship with an ex was a challenge, both Naegi and Kirigiri came to rely more on mutual friend Aoi Asahina. The swimmer was very gifted at helping them despite her own lack of relationship experience.

One Autumn evening, the two were hanging out without any relationship talk. In fact, Naegi was not on her mind at all. Asahina, as expected, served donuts. Her "mistake" was serving an an uneven number. Surprisingly, Kirigiri actually ate quicker than her. When she took the last one in her mouth, Asahina jokingly bit into it from the other side.

Both looked into the other's eye longingly and ignored the donut falling on the floor.

Their lips made eager contact with each other and Kirigiri realised this was what she missed with her ex-boyfriend.

And there we go: 15 pairings, 15 double drabbles.

I repeat myself on that front, but I can only thank you again for your time and I hope you had as much fun reading as I had coming up with these works.
