Chapter 4: January 18th
"Let the moon arise, so a delicate yet still blooming flower can be showered in your wondrous light. But then the sun will take his spotlight for that single beautiful sight to curl back up waiting for its midnight dance with Moonlight..." Saïx sighed softly leaning back on the couch in the grey area as he stared at kingdom hearts silently.
Marluxia stepped out of the kitchen just in time to hear those poetic words. "Beautifully said," he murmured, curling up on the couch next to Saïx with his Irish coffee. He held out the cup. "Would you like a sip?"
"Glad you like it." He smiled as he softly ran his fingers through the other male's hair. "I'm good thanks."
"I never knew you had a poetic streak," Marluxia murmured, nuzzling Saïx's hand. "I always thought that was Xemnas's department."
"Superior isn't the only one good with words." He chuckled lightly tapping the assassin's nose with his finger. "With such a great muse how could I not be so poetic with my words."
Marluxia wrinkled his nose playfully. "Yes... it's a gigantic moon shaped like a Valentine. I imagine it inspires quite a lot of poetry," he teased.
Raises his eyebrow slightly. "I was talking about you."
Marluxia blinked. "Wh-what?" he asked, taken aback.
"My muse is you, did I say something wrong?" Saïx replied softly with calm collected eyes. "I am only speaking the truth.."
"You said nothing wrong. I'm surprised, though," he admitted. "I haven't been able to think of myself as anyone's muse for anything. I'm ... not accustomed to being noticed in that way."
"Get used to it cause I don't plan on stopping" he said softly.
Marluxia smiled, closing his eyes and nuzzling Saïx. "Yes, sir," he purred.
"Good" he replied wrapping his arms around Marluxia again, hugging him close to his body.
Marluxia leaned into Saïx, enjoying the comfort of the other man's warm, lean body. He was being strangely sweet today.
