Happy wasn't happy.
More accurately, Happy's boss wasn't happy. When Tony Stark wasn't happy, he made sure everyone around him knew it. Eventually no one around Tony Stark was happy.
Becky had been gone for a whole week. No phone calls, no texts, emails, or even a message left behind with FRIDAY. Becky was gone.
Tony went more than a little insane searching for her. Happy tried to get Tony to let him call that shady group he kept calling, shouting at them all the time. Yet Tony refused. Tony took it all on himself. Lucky for all of them that Pepper stayed close, talking him down from flying after that group as Iron Man.
Happy liked that.
He just wanted them to find Becky again.
His phone pinged. He checked the screen, seeing an alert. FRIDAY warned him about a sensor going off in Becky's office. Well that's not allowed.
He ran off, ditching a conversation with another guard about bringing security badges back. Happy needed to bring his A-game to beat up any threat to the Starks.
Once he reached the office, he kicked the door open. He pulled out his gun. "FREEZE!" Happy yelled.
Becky looked up from the computer at him. She raised her eyebrow, confused. Without saying a word she went back to her work.
Happy stared. "Becky?" He tucked the gun back into his pocket. "What- how?"
Becky ignored him, staying focused on the work. Becky was a wreck. She hid it well, except Happy noticed the bags under her eyes and the look in her eyes like someone killed her puppy and she was mad about it. She was wearing some fancy kind of dress that wouldn't belong in her usual wardrobe.
"I'm busy making a new suit." Becky stated, simply, as if she had never left. "How does a 'cyborg/ninja' sound? It's too pretentious isn't it? Just tell me it's too pretentious. It won't hurt my feelings. I don't even have those."
"Becky."
"Too pretentious, got it." She replied, idly.
"We need to tell Tony about this."
"That it's too pretentious? He'll run with it for years. He'll ask why it can't be more pretentious. No way."
"You've been gone for a week. He needs to know you're back."
"I'm busy. Call me back."
"This is a verbal conversation. Becky, we should really be telling Tony." Happy explained for what already felt like the millionth time.
She didn't look up at Happy. He sighed in exasperation. The Starks were going to be the death of him.
"Becky look-"
"I am making a new suit. Stop interrupting my thought process!" She spoke in a demanding voice. She wasn't asking. She was doing.
Happy took a calming breath. It was better to humor her so Happy could get her to her father. They were both so alike.
"Right. Yeah. Why do you need a new suit?" Happy asked. He pulled out his phone, trying to sneakily text Tony. "I mean, what happened to the other one?"
Becky gave him a side glance. It was like she suddenly realized she hadn't been talking to thin air. She didn't step away from her table, if anything she stayed closer to it.
"My suit's too red. I'm getting rid of the red." She admitted.
Happy blinked. "Okay. New color. I can get behind that. Tony can too. Let's go."
"No!" She shouted.
Happy could feel the tension in the room jump.
"No." She repeated, voice on the edge of calm. She took a labored breath, hands clenching tightly to her desk. "I'm redesigning my suit, then making the new suit, then wearing it. You can tell Dad that I'm fine."
"To be honest, Ma'am, he won't believe it until he sees it." Happy explained. He hoped the text went through. "He's going crazy at the mansion."
Becky shook her head. "Happy, just a few hours please."
He relented. "Fine." Becky relaxed in her seat, still working on the new design. "What exactly is the new color?"
Becky softened.
"Green."

"Sir. I've located Becky-"
"Where is she? JARVIS, put a flight plan into the suit-"
"Sir. She's come home."

Becky was wearing a dirty hoodie now. Tony made Pepper grab as many as she could carry, along with pants. Pepper brought back three sweaters, they were Becky's favorites. Still, Becky grabbed sweats from Stark Industries.
She pulled on the gray sleeves, dragging them along her lips. She glanced at the tablet on her bedside. Tony kept it out of her reach.
She sat in a medical bed. As soon as she'd arrived, they brought her there. Becky insisted that her super healing kept her whole. Pepper insisted anyway. Becky went along with it. Tony sat at her bedside.
Agent Coulson stood at the end of the medical bed.
"Could I just-" Becky reached again.
"Nu-Uh. Grounded."
"I'm drinking age. You can't ground me."
"No computer until you learn to stop running off for no reason for a week!"
"You say that like I chose to go!"
"Well you chose to come back to work!"
"We did the same thing last time!"
Coulson checked his watch. "Ms Stark, I was told you had information for me?"
Tony and Becky kept talking over each other. Both of them yelled about proper procedure after one escapes captivity.
Coulson really had no time for this. He pulled out Ms Stark's cell phone, taken from her personal effects. "Ms Stark."
Becky turned her head. She snatched the phone from Coulson. Tony scolded her, reaching for it. Becky pulled away.
"No it's mine!"
"You can't have it!"
"Don't take my stuff from me again!"
"Ms. Stark." Coulson began. Becky froze, glancing over at Coulson. He smiled, tight and polite as ever. "Your report?"
"Oh yes." Becky used one hand to push Tony back. The other she used to unlock her phone, typing away on it. "The past week, you dealt with a strange man who wielded a hammer against a mech suit, yes?"
"Wait, that thing in New Mexico?" Tony asked. "I kept hearing about. Hammer blamed the suit on me again."
Coulson kept his face blank. "How are you aware of these events?"
"His name was Thor Odinson, Prince of Asgard." Becky explained. "God of thunder, if you believe in that sort of thing."
"Gods?"
"No, thunder." Becky snarked. She rolled her eyes to the sky, staring up at a linoleum light. She let go of Tony's face, rubbing it across her face. "God he was exhausting."
"What guy? Who's Thor?" Tony demanded to know, becoming furious. He apparently came to his own conclusions about Thor by Becky's word. "What did he do?"
Becky huffed. "Bother me, demand time with me, then did a genocide cause one person called him princess."
Coulson and Tony blinked.
"I'm sorry, what? Did you just say he 'did a genocide'?" Tony asked. "What- you were with somebody that committed genocide?!"
"Well he failed, if that helps. Thankfully before his buddy lost an arm." Becky explained. "It's okay. I helped stop the genocide, and with restorations to the injured party."
"Why were you brought there?" Agent Coulson asked.
Becky glanced away. Her eyes staring off at nothing. Her fingers teased the cuff of her sleeve. "An...old friend." She replied. Coulson waited patiently for her to finish her thought. "It doesn't matter. I'm back now. We fixed the genocide. I came home. Now, as for Thor-"
"I think it matters." Tony snapped. "Because they abducted you once, from inside a building. They can do it again!"
"No they can't! I yelled at her about it." Becky replied. "Strict one time use."
"How about you start from the beginning, Ms Stark?" Coulson asked.
So Becky opened her mouth. She told the tale of the banished Prince of Asgard, and the tragedy of Loki.
