By the time they had shaken the fear off, Ren, Jaune, and Neptune were walking back to the university.

"'Get her'. That was your whole plan? Get her." Jaune scoffed. "It was scientific."

"I-I-I-I just got over excited, I mean isn't it incredible, Jaune? We actually touched the athereic plane!" Neptune replied. "Do you know what this could mean at the university?"

"Yeah, it's gonna be bigger than a micro-chip." Jaune said as Ren caught up with the two, looking at a small paper he had written things down on

"I wouldn't say his experience was completely wasted, based on these readings, I say we have a good chance of catching a ghost or Grimm and holding it indefinitely." Ren said

"Ren, are you serious about this catching ghosts and Grimm thing?" Jaune asked

Ren looked at him with a stern face and said, "Yes, i'm serious."

Jaune then pulled out a small granola bar and handed it to him.

"Here, you've earned it." Jaune said as Ren grabbed the granola bar

Eventually, back at the university, the three come into the room Jaune was running a test in and see people moving things.

''...possibilities ar-are limitless!" Neptune said as he was the last to enter the room, noticing the dean of the university who part of his name was Yeager. "Hey, Dean Yeager!"

Jaune took mental note of the people moving things and said, "I trust you're moving us to better quarters on campus."

"No, you're being moved off campus, the board pf regions has decided to terminate your grant, you are to vacate these premises immediately." Dean Yeager explains

One of the workers grabbed the video camera Neptune had but took the tape out and gave it to him, letting him keep the tape and the regular camera, considering Neptune bought the photo camera and the tape.

"This is preposterous." Jaune said. "I demand an explanation."

"This university will no longer continue any funding of any kind for your group's activities." Dean Yeager says

"But the kids love us." Jaune commented

"Dr. Arc, we believe the purpose of science is to help mankind improve." Yeager explains. "You, however, seem to regard science as some kind of dodge, or hustle. Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable. You are a poor scientist, Dr. Arc."

"I see." Jaune quietly muttered

The Dean then got up as he said, "You have no place in this department or in this university."

Later, somewhere else in New York, Neptune was walking back and forth taking occasional drinks from a drink flask.

"This is a disgrace. Forget M.I.T or Standford now." Neptune said. "They wouldn't touch us with a 10 meter cattleprod."

"You're so worried about your reputation. Einstein did his best stuff when he was working as a patent clerk." Jaune responded

"Do you know how much a patent clerk earns?" Neptune asked

"No." Jaune responded

"Personally, I liked the university, they gave us money and and facilities, we didn't have to produce anything!" Neptune said. "You've never been out of college, you don't know what it's like out there. I've worked in the private sector. They expect results."

Jaune then hopped down from the stone side to the stairs he was on.

"For whatever reasons, Neptune, call it fate, call it luck, call it karma, I believe that everything happens for one reason or another." Jaune said. "I believe that we were destened to get thrown out of this dump."

"For what purpose?" Neptune asked

"To go into business for ourselves." Jaune said

Neptune then took another drink from his drink flask and said, "This ecto-Grimm-containment system that Ren and I have in mind is gonna require a load of Lien to capitalize. Where we gonna get the money?"

"I don't know, Neptune." Jaune replied as he took a drink after Neptune. "I don't know."

Later, Neptune, Jaune, and Ren came out of a mortgage building, Neptune carrying a folder.

"You're never gonna regret this, Neptune." Jaune said, excited

"My parents left me that house, I was born there!" Neptune said

Jaune patted his back and said, "You're not gonna lose the house, everybody has three mortgages nowadays."

"But at 19%?" Neptune questioned. "You didn't even bargain with the guy."

"Neptune, for your information, the interest rate alone comes down to roughly 9,000 Lien." Ren explains.

"Exactly. Besides, we are going to start the next in-dispensable science defense of the next decade. Paranormal/Grimm investigations and eliminations." Jaune said. "The franchise rights alone will make us rich beyond our wildest dreams."

Later, they were searching for a base of operations for their business. Currently, they were looking at using a firehouse.

"There's office space, showers, and sleeping quarters on the next floor and there's a full kitchen on the top left." a female rental agent explains

"It just seems a bit pricey for a unique fixer-upper opportunity, that's all." Jaune says. "What do you think, Ren?"

"I think this building should be condemned." Ren says. "There's serious metal fatigue in all the load-baring members, it's completely inaddiqute for our power needs, and the neighborhood is like a demilitarized zone."

"Hey, does this pole still work?" Neptune called out before sliding own the pole

When reaching the bottom of the pole, Neptune had a look of pure excitement on his face.

"Wow, this place is great! When can we move in?" Neptune says before pointing at the pole. "You gotta try this pole! I'm gonna get my stuff."

Neptune then started going back upstairs before looking back at the other two.

"We should stay here, you know, sleep here. Tonight. You know, to try it out!" Neptune says before going back upstairs

Jaune then looked at the rental agent and said, "I think we'll take it."

"Good.." The rental agent replied with a smile
