The bank robber stops his kart outside of a little shack. He gathers up the bags of coins and takes them all inside.
Luigi: Mario?
The thief takes off his mask and reveals himself to be Mario.
Mario: Yeah, I'm back Luigi. Help me with these coins.
Luigi grabs one of the bags and places it on the table.
Luigi: Another bank job huh?
Mario: What does that supposed to mean?
Luigi: I mean, if you're really not happy, why in the world do you keep hitting these banks?
Mario sighs, knowing exactly what his brother is talking about.
Mario: I don't know. It just ticks me off. No matter how many times I save the princess and her stupid kingdom I get nothing in return, but a cake and a kiss.
Luigi: Yeah. I guess I know what you mean. Except I don't even get a cake or a kiss. I'd kill to get that.
Mario: Would you steal?
Luigi pauses for a moment, and he thinks.
Luigi: I don't know. Maybe.
Luigi and Mario walk into the living room to relax.
Mario: Luigi, you don't have to live like this. You can help me.
Luigi: What if we get caught?
Mario: You worry too much.
Luigi: Ah.
Mario: I'm serious Luigi. Wouldn't you like to live in the lap of luxury instead of a tiny worn out shack in the middle of nowhere?
Luigi: Of course, but at the risk of being caught?
Mario: Luigi, I've been doing this for three years and I never got caught yet. And besides the Toads will never suspect us. They see us as heroes.
Luigi: Well... I suppose you have a point. But what if the Toads find out you're the one stealing?
Mario: I could remove my mask right in front of them and still wouldn't suspect us.
Luigi: Ah Mario, I don't know...
Mario: Come on Luigi, just this once and if you don't like it you can quit.
Luigi: Alright. Alright. I'll join in on one of your heists. But if we're going to do it we're doing it my way, instead of blowing up the banks.
Mario: Okay. We're all set. We'll wake up early in the morning and hit the nearest bank we can and discuss the plans on the way.
Luigi: Hold on, tomorrow morning?
Mario: Yeah. You got a problem with it?
Luigi: No, but I'd like to get a layout of the bank we're going to hit.
Mario: Yeah, good idea. We'll check it out in the morning and start the heist at night.
Luigi: Yep.
Mario: See you in the morning Luigi.
Mario stands up and heads for the bedroom.
Luigi: Yeah bro, see you too.
To be continued...
