Christina jumped back in surprise. Where had the wall come from? Did she do it? Why else did it look so much like the wall she had accidentally created when her powers were exposed? There were so many questions she found herself asking that she was startled by the sudden rumbling of the ground.

"What have I done?" she panicked.

Hands shaking, she hastily fled back to where the others already waited with their mouths agape.

"I-I-I don't know what happened," Christina began her explanation only to have Shaggy crush her against him.

Meanwhile, all over Arendelle, the people were waking, just as frightened by the wall as Christina had been. So much so that they were awaiting answers from the Queen when she stepped out of the castle to investigate. Following her as she led her family to the cliffs overlooking the valley.

"Where did it come from?"

"Will it go away?"

"What should we do, Your Majesty?"

Christina, after a steadying breath turned to face her subjects:

"I don't know all the answers but I know that to find them, we," she indicated her family, "Will have to first find where the wall begins, until then everyone should steer clear of it for their own safety"

Mummers of agreement rose from the crowd that turned to gasps of shock when the trolls rolled onto the scene explaining the rumbling of the ground Christina had felt earlier.

"Grand Pabbie?" Shaggy and Clawd asked in unison.

"Well, there's never a dull moment with you two," Grand Pabbie addressed the two girls, "It seems you've done the impossible Christina,"

"But, exactly what did I do?"

"Beyond that wall are The Moors a beautiful and dangerous fairy country-"

"The one from Aunt Alissa's story?" Draculaura caught on.

"But why would it wake up now? Why return now?" Christina wanted to know.

"Because of you, only you can answer these questions and only you can right the wrongs of the past"

The whys and the hows were clearly unanswerable questions which left the group with no choice but to begin their journey to find the walls starting point. Hopefully, there was an entrance there. The trolls were left to watch Arendelle and keep Jade's litter out of trouble. A task that was easier said than done. All-too-quickly Scooby and Jade were hitched to the cart. Clawd and Draculaura sat in front while Shaggy and Christina chose to sit in the back.

Then they were off.

…..

"Are you sure you wouldn't like, be more comfortable in the front?" Shaggy asked in a worried whisper when the cart hit a rut in the ground.

The sun still hadn't risen, Draculaura and Clawd were both asleep up front while Scooby and Jade plodded on down the valleys careful to avoid the sharp tangle of thorns that were hopefully guiding them in the right direction.

"No, I'm okay," Christina promised, scooting closer to Shaggy, "It's cozier back here anyways," she smiled at him, pulling the blankets over both of them.

"Yes, Shaggy agreed, one arm around Christina while his free hand rested on the pocket with the ring inside it.

Even when changing into traveling clothes he'd taken the ring with him determined but still gut-wrenchingly scared to propose.

If Christina said no it would surely be the death of him.

"Is something the matter, Shaggy?" Christina asked looking up at him in concern.

"Nooo," his voice cracked with nerves.

"I don't think I believe you"

"Like, nothing's wrong it's just that I like, uh," Shaggy was struggling for words.

Luckily for him, Christina was never the type to push, staring up at him expectantly while he fumbled for words until:

"Christina"

She jumped, startling him from his stupor.

"What's wrong, Christy?" Draculaura was half-awake watching them.

"I hear it," Christina whispered breathlessly, "We're getting closer"

Draculaura was now wide awake, shaking Clawd to wake up.

"I can't believe you've been hearing a voice and didn't bother to tell us," Draculaura declared, "I thought we weren't keeping any more secrets?"

"I know, I know but you would have thought I was crazy," Christina replied steadily, glancing around.

"Should we stop here then?" Clawd asked.

"No, I think we need to get closer to the mountains, let's keep going until morning"

"Good plan, it's still pitch dark"

It was only a few minutes before Draculaura and Clawd drifted back to sleep. With the voice having left her alone for now, Christina snuggled close to Shaggy with a calming breath.

"I didn't want to lie"

"I know," he promised, brushing the hair from her face, "I'm not mad at you"

Christina was immensely relieved to hear that, finally relaxed it wasn't long before sleep overtook her.

…...

Draculaura woke first, looking first at Clawd who was still snoring away before turning her attention to where Shaggy and Christina rested bundled in blankets, holding each other close, both were fast asleep despite the rising sun.

the mountains loomed before them, dark, foreboding against the cheery color of the sky, the thorn wall much the same, unbreakable, unending. How were they ever going to get past it?

Draculaura was pulled from her thoughts when Christina sat up, wide-awake.

"Christy-"

"Stop here, we have to stop here"

"But we aren't very close to the mountains yet-"

"We. Stop. Here."

Scooby and Jade pulled to a stop which woke the boys who looked confusedly at Draculaura while Christina hopped from the cart marching to the thorn wall.

"Christy," Draculaura rushed after her so she wouldn't slice herself wide open, "Stop!" she grabbed onto Christina's arm, "What are you thinking? There's no entrance here"

"It has to be opened," Christina countered calmly twisting from Draculaura's grip.

"But you're going to hurt yourself"

"I'm going to be just fine," Christina assured.

Despite the continuing protests Christina returned to the wall, tentatively stretching out a shaking hand towards it. She didn't know how she knew the entrance was here, she just did. Her fingers barely brushed the thorns before the ground began to rumble. The tangled wall of thorns parting to reveal a mist-covered landscape just within.

"We do this together?" Christina looked to the others.

"Together"

One by one they walked inside (Shaggy and Scooby both ran for fear of being suddenly impaled) Christina went last.

The wall slammed shut after her entrance.

"We're like, locked in," Shaggy was panicked, "Like, why didn't we consider this? We're all going to starve!"

Christina grabbed him firmly by the shoulders, "Pull yourself together, no one is going to starve, do you understand, sweetie?"

Shaggy nodded, "What now?"

Christina wilted, "I have no idea"

...

Hey would you look at that? my notes made it into the story LOL. I have some semblance of an idea it just isn't entirely fleshed out yet.
