Erza's Story:
Erza entered her boss' office. "You called me, sir?"
Her boss, Jellal Fernandes, spun around in his swivel chair to face Erza. "I'm waiting on your report."
Holding back a sigh, Erza placed the file she was holding on Jellal's desk. "Everything about Erigor is in there." I pulled off all-nighters for 5 days straight just to get everything about Erigor that leader of that drug cartel Eisenwald that we've been looking for just for you. I deserve a promotion and a raise!
"I see..." Jellal said, looking through the file. Something caught his eyes that caused him to raise an eyebrow.
"Did you notice anything, sir?" Erza asked.
"Do you want to go out with me tomorrow?" Jellal asked.
"Sure. Who will we be staking out?" Erza asked.
"No, as a couple," Jellal said.
Erza accidentally swallowed her saliva down the wrong pipe and started coughing like a maniac. Jellal looked up from the file he was reading.
"Everything okay, detective?" He asked, pushing his glass of water across the table towards Erza.
Erza grabbed the glass and chugged it down. "Ah...yes. I had just heard you wrong. I though you said you wanted us to go out as a couple."
"That was exactly what I said," Jellal said with a serious expression.
The first thing that went through Erza's head was: Is this a test?
"I'll send you the directions to the place where we will be meeting and the time. Don't be late or I will deduct from your pay," Jellal said.
Erza went home to Fairy Hills that night with a million questions. Is Jellal implying that he likes me? But why? Sure, okay, we do have history. He was a drug dealer and I was the student council president. The both of us were from the same orphanage so I often saw him. Then when I saw him selling some drugs, I beat him up. He had broken bones for weeks. Then, we went to college and when I got my job, imagine how surprised I was. Jellal, out of all people, managed to become police chief at his young age! What!? And he's my boss! He's always forcing me and my co-workers to work a lot like he's some slave driver! All of those all-nighters, oh and don't forget the fact that he doesn't even bother to acknowledge the hard work you do! He just stacks more and more work on top of the work you had just finished! Now he's asking for a date!?
Erza stopped walking. Is this his new method of torture?
She continued walking as she thought of the answer for the question. Fuck, it is! Wow! Jellal is a fucking sadist! I'm definitely going to die by him. Oh, how did Erza Scarlet die? It's from Jellal and all of his torture methods! Why's his new method a date!? Oh, so he can critique me in everything wrong I've done while we're sitting at a romantic candlelit dinner!? To show off that I'm nowhere near his level!? Both!?
In anger, she kicked open the front doors of Fairy Hills and stormed in.
Levy was laying on the floor in the living room as she read her book. Lucy was busy brushing Cana's hair from the couch she was sitting in and Cana was watching a drama on TV. Lisanna was doing yoga on her yoga mat. In the kitchen, Mirajane was doing some cleaning while Juvia was sitting at the table as she FaceTimed Wendy.
Like a ghost, Erza lifelessly entered the living room and sat next to Lucy. "I'm going to die soon." She laid her head in Lucy's lap.
"What's wrong with you?" Cana asked without looking away from the TV.
"I have a date," Erza answered.
The girls all stopped what they were doing and crowded around Erza.
"OMG! Who's the guy!?"
"My prayers have been answered! You're finally going out with someone!"
"Or should I say who's the girl since Erza might swing that way?"
"Details! Details!"
"This moment must be marked down in history!"
"I just wanna cry!"
Even Wendy, who was still on FaceTime on Juvia's phone, said something. "Erza! I'm so proud of you!"
"No! This is a bad thing!" Erza cried, sitting up.
"And how is it a bad thing?" Lisanna asked.
"It's with my boss!" Erza cried.
"Ooh, I see how it is," Cana said, wiggling her eyebrows. "Affair with your boss. A classic. Lemme tell you a secret: I also used to fool around with my boss."
Erza glared at Cana before running her fingers through her scarlet hair. "He obviously has no feelings for me. If he did, then why would he always make me do all-nighters and work overtime? Besides, based on our history, it would make sense for him to be hostile towards me."
"He makes you pull off all-nighters and work overtime so he can see you more. That's basic Romance 101," Levy said.
Erza blinked. "R-Really?"
"Yeah! Why do you think he's always bothering you?" Lucy asked.
"Cuz he hates me?" Erza asked.
"Because he's in love with you!" Juvia cried.
Erza thought about it. Jellal...likes me...I don't know how to feel about that. She blushed as a fluttery feeling formed in her stomach.
"I see." A small smile formed on her lips.
The next day, Erza arrived at the fancy restaurant dressed as if she was at some award show. "Is this too much?"
"Erza!" She heard Jellal calling.
Her heart stopped as she scanned the restaurant. She saw Jellal waving her over.
Why am I suddenly imagining him under a spotlight? Erza wondered as she made her way over to the table.
"What would you like to order?" Jellal asked.
"Oh...um..." Erza picked up the menu. Damn! These are expensive! If Jellal would give me a raise, I'd be able to pay for all this!
"I'm paying, by the way," Jellal said.
Fuck a raise! I can make my boss and the man who has a crush on me to pay for this! Erza cried as she listed almost everything off the list.
After the waiter took their order, they were met with awkward silence.
What do I talk about with my boss other than work stuff!? Erza frantically thought.
Jellal reached across the table and placed his hand over Erza's hand. "Erza, there's something important I have to tell you."
"Go on," Erza said. Suddenly, her heart began to beat rapidly.
"We've known each other since we were kids. We've gone through so much shit together, and if it weren't for you beating me up, I wouldn't be where I am today. So, I called you here not as just a thank you, but because I-" Jellal was cut off when a suspicious looking man entered the restaurant.
"Perfect!" Jellal cried, standing up.
Erza blinked. "What?"
"Oh yeah." Jellal said down. "I called you here because I want you to catch that man," he said, pointing at the suspicious man.
Erza looked at Jellal as if he was high. "Come again?"
"I read your report and figured that he's be here today. That man is Erigor by the way. I needed a way for us to be there without him suspecting us so I said let's go as a couple. If it was a stakeout, it wouldn't have worked out," Jellal explained.
Erza frowned. "I see."
"Catch Erigor and you'll get half a day off," Jellal ordered.
Erza glared at Jellal. "What did I do?" Jellal asked, shivering under her icy glare.
"Nothing," Erza grumbled as she stood up.
All she had to do was arrest Erigor but she was angry. Of course, she couldn't take out her anger on he rboss, the source of her anger, so what other way than to take it out on the guy she's arresting?
"Ow! I'm sorry! Ahhhh!" Erigor yelled at Erza kicked him.
Juvia's Story:
Go against the gang, that's like suicide.
Juvia had a strong urge to, though, even if that means death. The gang life was definitely not for her.
It was raining and she was hiding behind a car. She could head gunshots around her. Phantom Lord was in a shootout with Grimoire Heart. It was normal and Juvia didn't see the problem with it...until she got shot in the shoulder.
She was bleeding out. The cloth she held against her gunshot wound didn't help out. She wanted to cry but she knew that if she cried, she'll only make the rain worse. All she could do without affect the weather was hiss and try to make herself feel better.
I should have turned into water when that bullet hit me! She thought bitterly.
Her gun was sitting next to her. After checking if it still had bullets loading into it, she grabbed it and ran down the alley. She had to get help and fast. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to make it far. Someone had tackled her to the floor.
The person wrapped their fingers around her neck. "Let me have your body!"
Juvia tried to scream but the sound couldn't come out. I'm going to die!
Suddenly, the person started to shiver. Frost formed all over the person and they soon became a block of ice. The ice then shattered.
What was that!? Juvia wondered.
"Are you okay? That was a demon but I dealt with it," a shirtless man asked, holding his hand out.
Juvia hesitated before she grabbed his hand. Did he just save me, a gloomy gangster girl who nobody wants anything to do with...!?
"You're hurt! Let me get a first-aid kit. No, in fact, come inside with me," the man said.
Juvia nodded and he helped her up to her feet. They walked down the alley to the other side of town where the shootout wasn't happening. Entering a store clearly meant for tourists, the man asked the person working at the cash register for a first-aid kit.
Juvia was silent as the man cared for her gunshot wound.
"Were you shot? Do we need to pull the bullet out?" The man asked.
I can't tell him I'm a gangster, Juvia thought. "I was accidentally caught in the gunfire that the gangs were having. And don't worry. The bullet is out." It might sound gross, but I can transform my body into water. I simply washed out the bullet. Unfortunately, I can't wash away the pain.
"I see," the man said as he wrapped the shoulder in bandages. "Stay safe out there, okay?" He told her before leaving.
Juvia watched as he left. I think...I'm in love!
A week later, the man came to Fairy Hills. But, he didn't come for her. He came with a blonde girl.
"Long time no see, Gray," Erza said when she opened the door for the man and the blonde girl.
So his name is Gray...interesting, Juvia thought as she bashfully his behind a wall.
"Juvia? What are you doing?" Wendy, who was still a trainee at this point of time, asked.
"Shhhhhh!" Juvia responded.
"This is Lucy. She needs a place to stay. I heard you guys are looking for a new housemate so I thought it would be fine for Lucy to stay with you guys," Gray said.
"New housemate? Sure! Welcome, Lucy!" Mirajane cried.
Juvia glared at Lucy. How does she know Gray!? They better not be together!
"Juvia, I can sense a dark aura coming from you," Wendy told her.
As Lucy was adjusting to life at Fairy Hills, Juvia made sure to give her the cold shoulder.
"I think Juvia doesn't like me," Lucy said one day.
Hahaha! Good! Juvia thought.
"Nah. She's just shy," Cana said.
I'm not shy! Juvia thought.
When she wasn't giving Lucy the cold shoulder, she was busy stalking Gray. She quickly found out everything about him, right from his full name, his height, and even his habits. However, she didn't like how Gray would often check up on Lucy. As a result, she decided to put Lucy in her place.
Juvia barged into Lucy's room.
"Hi, Juvia! We haven't talked to each other yet," Lucy said.
Immediately, Juvia dug her fingers into Lucy's hair and started thrashing her around. On instinct, Lucy did the same thing.
"Die! You love rival!" Juvia screamed.
"Hey! Whoa! Love rival!? What do you mean!? I just got here!" Lucy cried.
Juvia didn't care. In her eyes, Lucy was a rival. "Break up with Gray! He's mine!"
"I don't even like Gray like that!" Lucy cried.
"So why are you always with him!?" Juvia cried.
"Cuz he's the first friend I've made since coming here! Of course he's gonna keep on checking up on me!" Lucy cried.
Juvia stopped pulling on Lucy's hair and Lucy did the same thing.
"So you have no feelings for him?" Juvia asked.
"Of course not! He's definitely not my type!" Lucy answered.
Juvia sat down with Lucy. "What's your type? I can set you up with someone so Gray won't come after you."
Lucy laughed. "Well for starters, I like sexy men. The sexier, the better!"
After the two of them had their little heart-to-heart, Juvia went to her room and started to write her very first love letter to Gray.
Levy's Story:
At first, it was a normal day for Levy.
One minute, Jet and Droy, two of her admirers, were fighting for her affection as usual. The next minute, however, things changed. Jet and Droy had been ruthlessly beaten up and were pinned to the side of a building by iron nails.
Levy watched the two of them with her hands cupped over her nose and mouth. Then, anger flashed in her eyes and she faced the perpetrator. "What's wrong with you!? I get it, they're annoying, but you didn't have to beat them up!"
The perpetrator, Gajeel Redfox, had his hands in his pockets. He didn't look too happy.
"Get them down right now! What the fuck's wrong with you! You think you're some god or something that can go around and punish anyone!?" Levy yelled.
"Okay. That's it. You've annoyed me," Gajeel said as his fist turned into iron. With one punch, he knocked Levy out cold.
His iron fists turned back to normal. He crouched down so he could have a good look at the unconscious Levy. She kinda looks cute once you think about it, he thought, tilting his head. The longer he looked at her, however, the more guilty he felt.
He shook off the feeling and stood up. I'm not growing soft! I refuse to let myself grow soft!
The next day, he arrived at Fairy Tail to grab some magical charms. That was when he saw Levy sitting at the bar. She was reading a book and judging by how she didn't look up to face Jet and Droy who were competing for her attention, she was really into the book.
Gajeel awkwardly made his way to the bar and sat down next to Levy. She didn't look up.
"I'm sorry," he grumbled.
"I don't forgive you," Levy said without looking up from her book.
Gajeel frowned. "So what can I do to get you to forgive me?"
"Nothing," Levy answered.
"Tch. Whatever. It's not like I care or anything," Gajeel grumbled.
"Okay. Good for you," Levy responded.
Gajeel clenched his fists and glared at the small girl who's eyes were glued to her book. He yanked the book from her and held it up so she couldn't reach it.
"Hey! Give that back!" Levy cried.
"Not until you forgive me," Gajeel said.
Levy crossed her arms. "I'll never forgive you."
"Then you'll never get your book back," Gajeel said.
"So be it," Levy said, hopping off the bar stool and leaving the bar.
Curious over why Levy was into the book, Gajeel decided to read a page from it. He kept a straight face as he read it. Then, he closed it. So she's into that kinky stuff. Never expected that.
"Oh no! Levy left!" Jet and Droy cried.
What am I supposed to do with this book? Gajeel wondered.
The next day, Gajeel arrived at Fairy Tail early. When he saw Levy enter, he followed her to the bar.
He placed the book on the bar in between them. "You want it, right?"
"Of course I do," Levy said.
Gajeel smirked. "The forgive me."
Levy narrowed her eyes and pushed him off the stool. While he was on the floor, Levy swiftly snatched the book and ran out of Fairy Tail.
Gajeel frowned. This is war!
The day after that, Gajeel came to Fairy Tail even earlier. He waited for the whole day but there were no signs of Levy. He showed up for 3 days but during those three days, Levy never showed up.
"Looks like you've become a regular," Kinana, Mirajane's fellow bartender, said when Gajeel showed up for a fifth day.
Gajeel bashfully turned away from Kinana with a scowl on his face. "...whatever."
"If you're looking for Levy, she works at that bookstore down the road," Kinana said with a smile.
"Who said I was looking for her?" Gajeel asked.
"I remember Mirajane saying that she wasn't in a good mood these days. Something about some guy won't leave her alone?" Kinana answered.
Fuck. I made her even more mad, Gajeel realized.
He left Fairy Tail that night with millions of thoughts and questions going through his mind. How did I make her mad though? All I'm tryna do is get her to forgive me! So she has no reason to get mad at me! Uggg, how am I supposed to cheer her up! This is bullshit!
As he stomped down the road, he passed a brightly lit store. He backed up so he can get a good look at the store. I think I just found a way to get her to forgive me!
The next day, Levy entered the bookstore with a sigh. "I couldn't get any sleep last night. I kept on getting chills down my spine! I don't know why though!" Levy told Lucy over the phone.
"But we're in the middle of summer. How are you getting chills?" Lucy asked.
"I know, right!?" Levy answered.
"Anyway, you going to Fairy Tail today? I need someone to pick up some magic books for me. I can't go there today. We got this interesting story to work on and I'll have to travel for it," Lucy asked.
"Nope. I'm never going to Fairy Tail ever again!" Levy cried.
"But why?" Lucy asked.
"That guy's gonna be there," Levy answered as she went behind the counter.
"'That guy?'" Lucy asked.
"Remember the guy I was telling you and the girls about? The one who won't leave me alone?" Levy asked.
"Oh yeah! Your stalker!" Lucy cried.
"I wouldn't call him my stalker. If he was, he's walk into the bookstore right now," Levy said.
The minute she said that, Gajeel entered the bookstore with a few shopping bags in his hands.
"Are you fucking kidding me!?" Levy cried.
"What? What!?" Lucy cried.
"Hey girl. Ima have to call you back," Levy said before hanging up.
She sighed as she hopped over the counter. "Wowwww! So you even found where I work! What's next, you'll follow me home!?"
"This is the thanks I get!?" Gajeel cried.
"Thanks for what!?" Levy yelled.
Gajeel handed Levy the shopping bags to Levy before shoving his hands into his pockets. Levy eyed him suspiciously.
"What!? You have a problem with presents now!?" Gajeel cried.
Levy gave him one last look before looking inside of the bags. Then, she gasped and her face turned red.
Gajeel awkwardly cleared his throat. "I though you like that type of stuff...so I bought a bunch...your welcome..."
"You...wanna try them with me?" Levy asked.
Cana's Story:
u here yet?
Cana stared at the text that was sent 30 minutes ago before she took a sip of her tequila. After getting fired from yet another job, she was chilling at a club. As she waited for the person she texted to answer, she was contemplating being a stripper or not.
I mean, I got the body for it. I'll outshine all of those girls! Plus, strippers make lots of money. Actually, being a stripper doesn't sound like a bad idea. Where do I sign up!? She thought.
The person she had texted showed up 45 minutes later. Cana smirked when she saw him sit down next to her.
"Took your damn time!" She cried as she poured him a glass of tequila.
"Yoyoyo! You'd never believe the day I had!" The person, Bacchus Groh, cried before he took a sip of his drink.
"Ha! I bet it's nothing compared to the day I had!" Cana cried.
"Please. Mine was way more intense than yours," Bacchus said.
"Lies," Cana responded as she poured another glass for herself.
"Whoever lasts the longest can go first!" Bacchus cried, raising his glass.
"You're on!" Cana cried, clinking her glass with Bacchus.
10 whole bottles later, the competition was going on.
"I...won't lose to you..." Cana slurred as she refilled her cup. Her face was flushed and she was struggling to keep her eyes open.
Bacchus refilled his cup. However, he was sloppy and the drink got all over the table. He snickered. "Too bad...hehehe."
They clinked glasses and chugged their drinks down.
"Damn!" Bacchus cried, hissing and squinting his eyes.
Cana sloppily reached across the table to hit Bacchus' shoulder. "Admitting defeat?"
Bacchus stood up. "I gotta take a piss. Later."
"Um, get your ass back here! I haven't won yet!" Cana cried.
"Who said you won? I win!" Bacchus cried.
"Technically, I won though! I had some before you came!" Cana cried.
"Wow, so you cheated!" Bacchus cried.
Cana attempted to think about it but wasn't able to thanks to her head being fuzzy due to the alcohol. Instead, she shook her head and stood up.
"Don't leave," she demanded, grabbing onto his arm.
Bacchus shrugged her off. "Bruh! I just wanna piss!"
Cana took an empty bottle of tequila and banged it against the table. Now that the bottle was broken, she pointed it at Bacchus. "If you leave, ima cut off your dick!"
Suddenly, 2 security guards appeared next to them. "We're going to have to escort you two."
Bacchus and Cana blinked. "Why?"
"Looks like a fight's about to break out," one guards said.
"So fight and kill each other outside of the club," the other guard said.
Bacchus and Cana glanced at each other before glaring at the security guards.
"You're funny if you think we're just gonna leave! I haven't won yet!" Cana yelled, waving her bottle at one of the guards.
"Lemme piss first! Then let me win! After, I'll leave!" Bacchus yelled, slapping the other guard. He accidentally ended up using his palm magic and it sent the guard flying across the club.
Cana stopped threatening the guard she was dealing with a pointed the bottle at Bacchus. "Yo. Did you just use magic?"
"I did?" Bacchus asked, obviously not realizing what he had just done.
A minute later, the two of them were kicked out of the club.
With their arms over each other's shoulders, they walked all over town as they ranted to each other about how mad their days had been.
Bacchus ended up taking a piss like he wanted. However, it was in front of the entrance of the place Cana was just fired from. He made sure to stick up his middle fingers at the security cameras.
Cana, who was in the background, was laughing like a madman. "Damn! Chillout! Hahahahaha!"
Later on, after getting into a fight with some little kids when they were trying to play one of those claw machines, Cana and Bacchus practically crawled all the way over to a motel.
"Yes! A bed!" Bacchus cried, flopping down on the bed.
Cana flopped down next to him. "Are you for real gonna sleep right now?"
Bacchus faced her. "What do you want me to do?" His eyes slyly traveled down her body.
"You made my day better. In return, I'll make your day better," Cana said, slowly unclasping her bra.
Mirajane's Story:
"Hey. I just realized something," Lisanna said as she and the girls watched a movie in the living room.
"What is it?" Lucy asked.
"Mira's still working at Fairy Tail, right?" Lisanna asked.
"Yep," Levy answered.
"Okay. So. Mira's always helping us with everything, right?" Lisanna asked.
"Yeah! If it wasn't for Mira, I don't think I'd be here," Wendy answered.
"Same," Juvia chimed in.
"We all desperately rely on Mira," Erza summarized.
"Agreed," the rest of the girls said.
"I feel like we should set her up with someone," Lisanna said.
"That's a good idea! She's always helping us with our love lives! Why don't we help her with her love life!?" Juvia cried.
"Okay. Lisanna, you're her little sister so you should know her the best. What's her type?" Erza asked.
Lisanna thought about it. "Once you think about it, I don't really know."
Cana sighed. "Yep. I have no idea either, and I know her the longest."
"What type of guy or girl can you guys see Mirajane going out with?" Levy asked.
"That's the problem. I literally can't see anyone," Lucy answered.
"Okay, how about the people we see her socialize with?" Wendy asked.
"When she goes out shopping, she socializes with the old men and women at the outdoor markets," Juvia said.
"That's not what we mean," Levy said.
"She used to be a supermodel back in the day," Cana said.
"Oh yeah! But then she had too many scandals that were badly affecting her career so she left," Lisanna said before sighing. "All of those scandals really affected my sister. It's actually the reason why she doesn't date anyone anymore."
"Really? That's so sad," Lucy said.
"So I'm guessing we can't contact those people she used to date or hang out with during her supermodel days?" Cana asked.
"Unfortunately," Erza answered.
The girls sighed.
"This is so fucking hard!" Levy groaned.
"I have an idea!" Wendy cried.
"Ooh, what is it?" Lucy asked.
"Why don't we get some of the guys we know that hang out at Fairy Tail and play some sort of elimination game? The last one standing gets to go out with Mira," Wendy suggested.
"That's a good idea!" Juvia cried.
Erza stood up. "Okay! Let's make a list of who's free!"
The next day, the girls were at the park. They were standing in front of a line of guys with fancy tuxedos. The guys were Macao, Freed, Laxus, Gray, Wakaba, Reedus, Mest, Na, and Warren.
"This rose belongs to the man who will win Mirajane's heart," Levy said, showing off the red roses.
"So the first thing we will do is eliminate those who definitely have no chance at winning Mirajane's heart!" Juvia cried.
A minute later, Laxus and Freed were the only ones left standing.
"So you two are the ones left," Levy said, playing with the petals of the rose.
"I thought Gray's compatible with Mirajane? I mean, they talk a lot," Lisanna asked.
"Gray belongs to me!" Juvia cried.
"I feel like we eliminated people too soon though..." Lucy said.
"Who cares?" Cana asked.
"Okay. I'll ask one question. Whoever gets it right will receive the rose and will go on a date with Mirajane," Erza said, standing next to Levy.
"I don't even want to be here...I'm here cuz Freed dragged me here..." Laxus grumbled.
"Correct!" Erza cried.
"What!?" Everyone else cried.
"Congratulations, Laxus! You can go out with Mirajane!" Erza cried.
Levy blinked. "Wait! What was the question!?"
"The question was why are you here," Erza answered.
Everyone was still lost.
"The answer was somewhere along the lines of what Laxus said. We want a guy for Mirajane who's not interested in her the way a pervert is. Mirajane isn't interested in dating anyone. Laxus isn't interested in dating anyone. It works out!" Erza explained.
"Um, I don't think that's how it works..." Lucy said.
"What's going on here? I heard that everyone's gathering around here," Mirajane asked as she walked towards everyone.
"Sis!" Lisanna cried.
Levy quickly handed Laxus the rose and threw him a thumbs up.
Laxus casually walked over to Mirajane and gave her a rose. "We're going on a date now."
"Okay," Mirajane simply repsonded.
"That's it?" Juvia asked.
Erza smiled as Laxus and Mirajane walked away together. "Like I said. Laxus is the perfect guy for Mira."
