Notes: First of all, I'm not going to use Fujin's normal means of communicating, all caps and few words. It's a bit annoying, and I don't think she would be like that in just the company of Raijin or Seifer. I could come up with explanations as to why in the game she talks that way when they appear to be alone or what not, but I ask you to accept it as is. If you don't like that very well.
Second, you may wonder where Raijin is, well I didn't feel it important enough to put it in the story so just think he's off in class cause he's dumber than the other two.
She huffed in frustration. "So what is your greatest desire?" with emphasis on is. She tried to blow her silver hair out of her good eye as she looked at him.
"Well, I've always wondered what it felt like to crush someones dreams." He started to comb his hair with his hands. "Not to beat them to it or too deny them of it temporarily, but crush any hope they had of it. Like if I were to meet someone who wanted to go to the moon, I wouldn't just take his place or break his leg so he couldn't go." He became more fevered in his speech as he snapped an imaginary twig. "I would destroy the moon to stop them ever of attaining it." He stared forward, concentrating on the goal. He took a few breathes calming himself down. "There is nothing evil in my desire," his normal expression was back, "simply that sensation is an enigma to me. What do you feel when you take something away? Why do you feel it? So many questions on why people do things like that."
She looked away and up. "I believe you, to a degree. Only problem is who and what. You could simply do it to some random person, or you could attain it through stopping someone from doing something evil they desire. That's a positive twist to it." She tried to make the conversation light. Trying her hardest to direct him.
His voice became heavy, "Or becoming evil, a sort of temporary lapse of goodness, to see how those we call villains feel." This shocked Fujin but she kept looking up. She regained her normal facial expression and he continued, "I even know who I want to do it to." She knew who was on his mind he didn't have to say it.
She looked at him again. "You've never really talked about him with true contempt. I've always thought of you two as rivals."
He nodded knowingly, "It's true, but contempt, hate they are such strong words. I don't really hate anyone, but who better to test such an idea on than him?" He clutched his left fist and grinned. "It is only an added bonus we aren't friendly."He relaxed his hand as he massaged his scar and chuckled. "An eye for an eye." She looked at him confused. "Just thinking of the battle I earned this." He stopped rubbing it. "If he retaliates with the same audacity, I wonder how I will turn out after this experiment."
"You will be lucky to get away with your life." she curls her knees in, resting her head on her knees. "I think you were lucky he didn't kill you then." Her voice was soft and concerned.
He shook his head, "No, he isn't like that." She turned to him, "You can tell what a person is like by how they fight. You could say we know each other the best. One on one we are equals, and he wouldn't kill an equal." He said it with such confidence.
"And you?"
He shook his head again with a grin, "Not if I don't have too. But if his greatest desire is to live, then maybe I will." He began to look far into the distance.
She looked like she was trying to see it too. Sullenly she said, "You know what?" He grunted in response. "I bet we are getting caught up in something we won't be able to get out of."
