Well, I finally the the inspiration to write and quickly got through another chapter to make up for how long it took me to write chapter 56. I hope you guys like it.
And now, onto the reviews.

Kareneb: Yes, the Sofia story line is going to continue. It continues in this very chapter. I was supposed to happen later on, but wrote it now.

jsboneslove: Glad you liked the Valentine's day chapter. And yes, Booth and Bones had a good Valentine's day, obviously.

Christine's Pov

As I made my way into the school, I wanted to find Michael as soon as I could as I was kinda curious how the rest of his study session went with Sofia. What I found when I got closer to his locker was Sofia standing there, talking to Michael and I couldn't say that I was happy to see her.

"Who's the girl with Michael?" Kate asked as she came up beside me.

"Sofia, Michael's history partner." I told her, making sure I didn't sound jealous as I knew how she'd react.

"She seems rather close to him." Kate pointed out as Sofia started laughing at something that Michael said, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Okay, want me to go over there and tell her to back off?"

"If I'm honest, yes, but my answer is no." I said, turning around to head to my locker.

"Hang on, you're not going over there." She asked me as she followed me.

"Not planning to." I said and I saw the look on her face. "Okay look, I'm not going to say that I like her flirting with Michael, even if it's lightly, but he'd never do anything and I don't wanna be that girl who gets jealous any time a girl has a crush on my guy. Michael doesn't need that."

"And what about what you need?" She asked as we reached my locker and I looked at her.

"If Sofia gets too forward, I'll say something, but as far as I know she hasn't done that." I said.

"Fine, but I officially don't like her on your behalf." She said and I chuckled. "I'm also heavily pregnant, so if she does do something, I am well in my rights to have a go at her and can blame it on the hormone's without so much as a hint of guilt."

I smiled at her. "I'll keep that in mind." I was lucky I had a friend like her. "Now I have to get to class." I said as I took my books out of my locker.

I left her and headed to my first class, hoping the school day went well and that I didn't have to put up with Sofia hanging around my boyfriend all day.

I reached my class and sat down beside Michael, who was already seated and who smiled at me as I sat down.

"Hey, why didn't you come say hi before? I'm pretty sure you were coming to my locker." He said and I smiled.

"Well you seemed busy, so I didn't want to interrupt." I said. "So, how did the rest of your studying go with Sofia?"

"Really well. We ended up getting McDonalds and we got quite a bit done." He told me and I nodded, smiling. "But, I kinda promised her that I'd also help tutor her in between doing our project, so we'll have to put our movie night on hold for the rest of the week."

I sat there looking at him for a moment. "What about our hospital trip on Wednesday?"

He chuckled. "I'll make up for it next week." He said and I looked away for a moment. "Look, I'm really sorry for cancelling on you again and pushing our date back so far, but I figured that with us doing the assignment anyway, I could give her a helping hand. She's really struggling with the school work."

I sat there for a moment. I wasn't happy, not in the slightest, but it just reminded me how much my boyfriend wanted to help and how much he cared. He was very kind and it's one of the things I loved about him.

"No, it's okay. You being so generous is one of the reasons I fell in love with you. We can always have our date on the weekend, probably on Sunday since I'm most likely going to the museum with Angela and my mom on Saturday." I admitted and he smiled at me.

"You are officially and undoubtedly the best girlfriend in the world. I'm going to buy you a trophy that say's that too." He said and I chuckled as he lent forward and kissed me.

"Mr. Hodgins and Miss Booth, this is a class, not a dating service." Our teacher said and we pulled away from each other.

"Sorry about that." Michael said and I just smiled.

I still didn't like Sofia spending so much time with my boyfriend, but I loved my boyfriend and he loved me.

- Line Breaker -

"Johnny." I called as I made my way over to the table he was sitting at.

"Hey Christine, thanks for being okay with waiting till today to work this out." He said as I sat down and I smiled.

"No problem. Work's important, I get that." I said and he smiled.

"Thanks." He said. "So, any idea what historic event you wanna do?"

"I was going to ask you that. Are there any historic events that you want to do?" I asked him.

"Well, I've always been interested in the Nazi's." He said.

"What, being one you mean?" I asked jokingly and he rolled his eyes.

"No, of course not. It's just that my great-grandfather fought the Nazi's." Johnny said and I looked at him.

"So, we're doing world war II. Considering my family has a long history of serving in some form of military, it fits." I said and he smiled. "However, despite the fact that it's a really good movie, there will be no using the first Captain America as a reference."

He laughed at that. "To be honest, you have to admit that the report would be so much cooler if we did do it based on that movie." He said and I chuckled. "Of course we won't, but I am surprised you know about that movie."

"Well, for one: my father actually likes that movie. And two: Michael is a very big Marvel fan. I've watched all the movies, and I still cry when I watch Endgame." I said and he nodded.

"Yeah, even I teared up a little when watching that movie. I can't imagine what it felt like for the people who watched Infinity War, got slapped in the face with the ending and then had to wait an entire year to find out what happened." He said, then he chuckled. "And I've just realized we've gotten off topic, but my girlfriend won't let to me about this stuff, even though she's amazing, so it's weird being able to talk about it with a girl."

"I get it, trust me." I said. "Anyway, we should probably start the project tonight. Between the two of us, we should get it done in no time."

"Hopefully. I promise I'll pull my weight, because despite not looking it, I do care about school and I don't have bad grades." He said.

"It's fine Johnny, I know that you're a good student." I said, as I had seen his grades by chance and while he wasn't as good as me, he normally got solid B's and C's.

"I feel sorry for your boyfriend. He's got Sofia, who isn't the best student in the world. She's been here maybe a week or two and even I know that." Johnny said and I nodded.

"Yeah, he's actually agreed to help tutor her while they're doing the assignment." I said and he looked at me for a moment, before leaning back. "Anyway, we should probably meet up once school's done to start studying."

"I'm cool with that." He said. "I'll meet you outside the gym."

"Deal." I said.

- Line Breaker -

As I made my way through the school, I hadn't found Michael. Classes were finished and I had hoped to see him again after I went to my locker, but he was nowhere to be seen, so I just headed off the meet Johnny. Michael was focusing on studying with Sofia, so I should focus on my own assignment with Johnny.

I found him where he said he'd be and waved, which caused him to head over to me.

"Hey, I figured you'd be a bit longer." He said and I shrugged.

"I had nothing else to do." I said. "So, do you just wanna just drive and meet up at the library? I probably should have asked you that before to be honest."

"I don't actually have my car right now. It's at the shop being repaired. I caught the bus to school." He told me and I sighed.

"Well, it's a good thing that I have a car then and can drive." I said. "Lets go."

I honestly didn't mind driving him to the library. It was easier than letting him catch a bus there, and more logical.

"Thanks. However, can we drop past target or something so I can buy some study snacks. I'll buy you a snack of your choice as thanks for driving me." He said and I looked at him.

"Deal." I said and he smiled.

We made our way to my car and climbed in. I drove us to target and went in with Johnny, who brought some Dorito's, soda, candy and chocolate, which we could take into the part of the library where they allowed eating. While I was driving to the library, he got a call from his girlfriend who had to ask him a question and who didn't hang up with him till we got to the library.

"You know, if it wasn't for the fact that she knows you're dating someone, I think she'd be jealous that I'm studying with a girl." He said.

"I get it, trust me." I said. "That's the advantage of also being a girl, but if she trust's you she won't be jealous, and she obviously trust's you if she didn't bring it up."

"I'm guessing that means you trust Michael, even though Sofia was looking at him today like he was walking on sunshine." He said and I looked at him. "Yeah, I noticed."

"I don't like how she looks at him, but I trust him so I don't say anything. He won't do anything or let her do anything." I said truthfully. "Which I shouldn't be talking about with someone I'm not friends with."

"Hey, it's not like we're enemies and we've talked once or twice before. Plus, my girlfriend is friends with Danika and Danika's only had praise for you." He admitted. "Also, I knew Darius who was an awesome guy, so we have friends in common. And sometimes it's easier talking to a stranger."

"Then I guess we might be on the way to possibly becoming friends." I said and he chuckled.

"Let's just get through this assignment first." He said and I laughed.

"You prepared to work harder than you've worked before?" I asked and he nodded.

"Since I know how good of student you are, I guess I'm going to have to be." He said, before he smiled. "And maybe with you, I can finally get an A."

"That's the plan." I said as we made our way into the library to start our assignment on World war II.

The Next Day (Wednesday)

As I made my way into the school alone, like I had the day before, I had to admit I was a little happier. Johnny and I had made quite a bit of progress on our World war II assignment and he'd helped a lot. I'd gotten home late as we'd worked for as long as we could because Johnny had to work after school today and didn't have the time. He'd even brought a pizza for us to share before we went home. It was no different to what Michael and Sofia had done on Monday, except for the fact that Sofia liked Michael. With Johnny and me, it was just the fact that we had to do this assignment together and wanted to do it as a team. In Michael's case, I knew he had no feelings, but she did.

I made my way through the school to find Michael, just like I had done yesterday, and again I found him standing at his locker with Sofia. Only difference was that this time Sofia was giving him a present. I couldn't tell who it was, but he was smiling.

"Hey, Christine." Johnny said as he came to my side. "Can we talk for a sec?"

"Of course." I said, tearing my eyes away from Sofia and Michael. "Is it about the assignment?"

"No." He said, before he grabbed my arm and pulled me to the side of the hall where there were less people. "It's about Sofia."

"Sofia? What about her?" I asked and he sighed.

"Look, normally I wouldn't say anything, but I think this is different and you are my history partner. Also, I'm not 100% sure if I heard her right when she was talking on the phone." He said and now I was concerned.

"What was she talking about?" I asked.

"I don't know who she was talking to, but she was talking about Michael. She was talking about how amazing he was and how close they are getting, and how if and when they got together, whoever she was talking to would love him." He said and my eyes widened. "Look, I think she likes Michael more than just a crush. I'd tell Michael if I were you."

"Thanks for telling me." I said and he nodded.

"If someone felt that way about my girlfriend, I'd want to know so I could keep an eye on them." He said, before he headed off.

I made my way over to Michael, who was still being stared at by Sofia.

"Hey babe." He said with a smile as I approached and I smiled back, but I noticed Sofia wasn't smiling. She looked like I'd just ruined her day. "Look what Sofia got me to thank me for tutoring her."

I looked down at the gift. There were mint chocolate brownies and dark chocolate – two of Michael's favorite sweets and two things I'd given him for valentines – and there was also an old Imagine Dragon's cd, which was one of the bands Michael liked.

"That's funny, they're all things you like." I said and he smiled.

"Yeah, though I don't remember mentioning them to you Sofia." He said and she smiled.

"I'm just glad you like them." She said, without answering how she knew, and I looked at Michael. I wanted to tell him not to accept, but I couldn't.

"Well it's a very nice gesture." I said to Sofia, who smiled, though it didn't reach her eyes. I looked at Michael again. "Hey, can we talk at lunch. There's something I need to talk to you about."

"Yeah, of course we can." He said. "Is everything okay?"

"It's fine, I just need to talk to you about something." I said, trying not to look too uncomfortable since Sofia was standing right there. "I'll see you in class."

"Okay." He said, leaning down to kiss my cheek. "I love you."

"I love you too." I said, noticing the glint in Sofia's eyes.

I walked away, wondering how I was going to approach this with Michael. I didn't want him to think that this was just jealousy, because it wasn't.

- Line Breaker -

I pulled Michael through the hall to somewhere quieter, as I didn't want to say this in front of the whole school. We could talk about this in the cafeteria, which we were close to, but I wanted to talk about this alone.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked me once I finally stopped and I looked at him.

"I'm worried about Sofia." I said and he looked confused. "She likes you Michael, a lot."

"She's just friendly Chris." He said and I sighed.

"Michael, someone heard her say she likes you." I said and he chuckled, stepping forward.

"Then it's probably just a small crush, which isn't going to go anywhere because I love you – you know that." He said and I kinda wanted to scream.

"It's more than that." I said and he smiled, kissing me.

"Look, I think it's cute that your jealous, I really do, but I promise nothing else is going on." He said, kissing me again. "Now let's go and eat."

He headed off to the cafeteria and I stood there for a moment. Normally, he'd listen to me and I was kinda upset that he just thought it was jealousy. My only guess was that Sofia was acting innocent around him.

I followed him to the cafeteria and we went and sat with our friends, who were joking around about something. Kate seemed to notice something was wrong, because she got up and came to sit beside me.

"What's wrong?" She asked and I looked at her. No one was paying attention to us.

"It's Sofia, I think her feelings for Michael are more than a crush." I whispered and she looked at me.

"Do you want me to say something?" She asked and I shook my head.

"No, I don't want you getting involved in this." I said softly, before sighing. "Even Michael thinks I'm just jealous and over thinking things, and maybe I am, but I'm worried."

"Okay, now I wanna hit him." She said before sighing. "Tell me if you need help."

"I promise I will." I said.

I started eating silently then beside Kate, only answering sometimes when I was asked things. In the end though, I got up and said that I needed to do something before our next class. To be honest though, it was just hard seeing Michael so happy when I was worrying.

I made my way through the hallway towards my locker, just wanting to grab my class stuff and a book to read so I could distract myself.

"Christine." I heard a familiar voice said and turned to see Sofia coming towards me.

As I looked at her, I could see why people would think she's innocent. She a big brown eyes, light brown hair and freckles. She was smaller in height than I was, though not by much, and she could pull off the innocent look.

"Sofia, hi. Is there something you want?" I asked politely. Being the daughter of Temperance Brennan came in handy sometimes. I could hide my emotions when I wanted to.

"I just wanted to say that I'm really glad that you didn't stand in Michael's way." She said and I looked at her.

"Excuse me?" I asked and she stepped closer to me, and I didn't like the look in her eyes. Her smile was kinda convincing, but her eyes weren't.

"When Michael offered to tutor me and do the assignment with me after school, I figured you were going to stand in his way. You seem like the type." She said and I kept silent. "I'm really glad you didn't ruin my time with Michael. He's amazing and I really like spending time with him, and I don't know what I would have done if you ruined that. I would have been so sad."

I stood there looking at her, because it just sounded like she threatened me. I was actually kinda certain that she just did. And the way she was looking at me was like I was bug she wanted to squash.

"Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. I'll see you around." She said with a bright smile and then she left.

I stood there looking at my locker, before grabbing my things out and heading off to my classroom. I was not having a good day, but I was going to finish this school day.

- Line Breaker -

I made my way straight to my locker and shoved my books inside, before grabbing my bag and slamming the door shut. I started through the school then, wishing I could run into Michael, but I didn't. I did run into Sofia and her friend. Well, it's more like I was heading out and saw them, so I hid so they couldn't see me.

"So are things on with Michael?" Sofia's friend asked.

"Not yet, but it's obvious he likes me. He's so kind and friendly – there's definitely feelings there." Sofia said.

"You do know he's dating Christine right?" Her friend pointed out.

"I know, but he likes me. It's so obvious. I don't know why he's with her when he doesn't love her, but I know he'll choose me." Sofia said. "I mean I know so much about him already. He loves marvel movies, anime, video games and Imagine dragons. He loves dark chocolate, plays the drums and both electric and acoustic guitar. His grandpa is a musician, his dad's a scientist and his moms an artist. He's also allergic to cats and was born in August."

I knew I had to go, so I got out of the school without them seeing me. Now I was even more worried.

I headed straight to my car, as fast as I could, and pulled out of my car spot, driving out of the school car park. I knew exactly where I was going – I was heading to my father's work, but it wasn't to see my dad. I didn't even want him to know that I was there. I was going to go and see Sweets.

- Line Breaker -

As I walked through the F.B.I building, I was kind hoping I didn't run into Dad, because if I did, I'd have to tell him what was going on before I was even sure what was going on.

"Hey kid." I heard someone say and turned to see Aubrey. "Here to see your dad?"

"No, Sweets actually." I said and he seemed surprised.

"Does your father know your here?" He asked me and I shook my head.

"No, and I don't want him to yet. I just need to ask Sweets something – he is the psychologist in the family." I said and Aubrey nodded.

"Okay then, I won't tell Booth I saw you, but I hope everything is okay." He said and I smiled.

"Thanks Aubrey." I said.

"No problem kid." He said.

I walked past him and headed to Sweets office. I was nervous about asking to talk to him about this, but he was the one who always told me to come and talk to him if I ever needed to, so I knocked before opening the door and poking my head in.

"Uncle Sweets?" I asked and he looked up from his book.

"Christine, what are you doing here?" He asked me.

"I need to talk to you. Can I come in?" I asked him and he nodded, placing his book down.

"Of course you can, come in and have a seat." He said and I stepped into his office and walked over to his couch, placing my bag down and sitting down. "So, what's going on?"

"I actually feel stupid about coming here, but I…" I started, but I didn't know how to continue.

"Just tell me whatever it is, you know I won't judge." Sweets said and I sighed.

"There's a girl at school called Sofia, and she's currently Michael's history partner. She has a crush on him, which I've known for a bit, but her behavior lately is worrying me." I said and I knew he wasn't judging me.

"What's worrying you?" He asked me.

"Well, the way she looks at him for one. There's also the fact that my history partner heard her talking on the phone with someone and she was talking about how awesome he is and how close they're getting, as well as telling the person on the phone that once she and Michael got together, they'd love him. She also said something similar to her friend, about how he'll choose her and doesn't love me. Also, she knows so much about him, things she shouldn't know and she brought him a present to thank him for tutoring her, and the present was things he loves." I explained and I knew I was rambling on a bit.

He lent forward. "Well, the fact that she knows a lot about him is concerning, I will admit, especially if they haven't known each other long. I know that Michael doesn't tell everyone his personal business and I'm assuming Sofia knows things that he wouldn't randomly tell someone."

"We got the history project on Monday. That's the first time they spoke as far as I know, and yeah, the stuff was on the personal side." I explained and I saw him looking at me.

"Christine, is there any other reason you're worried?" He asked me.

"I'm pretty sure she threatened me." I admitted and his eyes widened slightly.

"What do you mean?" He asked me.

"She came up to me today when I was alone and said she was glad I didn't get in the way of Michael tutoring her, and that she didn't know what she would have done if I had." I said and Sweets got out of his seat, coming over and sitting beside me.

"From what you're saying, it sounds like Sofia is obsessed with Michael." He said and that was what I was worried he'd say. "But I'm more worried about you."

"Me?" I asked and he nodded.

"Christine, how does Sofia look at you?" Sweets asked and I looked away.

"Well, I might be imagining it, but it's kinda like she sees me as a bug she needs to squash. Normally she looks innocent and is all smiles, but when she sees me or Michael kisses me, this look appears in her eyes." I explained and Sweets nodded. "Uncle Sweets, what is it?"

"I can't really say anything without meeting this Sofia. I haven't seen the way she acts myself." He said and I looked at him.

"Which means your worried about something but you don't want to elaborate because you haven't been able to talk to the person in question." I said, because I knew him well enough. "Uncle Sweets, I've been through a lot and I want to know, even if it's a theory."

"I'm worried that if this Sofia girl is really obsessed with Michael, she may try to hurt you." Sweets said and I just looked at him.

"What, you mean like how that Pam woman tried to hurt my mom, but shot dad instead when he realized what she was going to do?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Yes, though I wasn't aware that you knew about that." He said, before sighing. "Look Christine, I don't know if this is to the same extent, but I think it's safe to say that you should avoid her and even let Michael know that this may be serious. Does he know she threatened you?"

"No. I told him I was worried about her, but he just thought that I was being jealous. She threatened me later on, if that's what it was." I said.

"Christine, if she said it in a threatening manner, then it was a threat." He said. "It's obvious that you're scared."

"Should I tell Mom and Dad?" I asked him.

"I'm not sure. You can tell them that her actions are worrying you, but without seeing the way she acts myself; I can't give you a proper answer. Still, stay away from her and if she does threaten you or harasses you, tell your principle or a teacher." Sweets said and I nodded. "And you can call me if you need to."

"Thanks Uncle Sweets." I said and he nodded, before he wrapped is arm around my shoulder.

"You're my family, I'll always help if I can." He said.

Michael's Pov

As I sat in the library with Sofia, I was tapping my phone against the table. I was worried about Christine. Sofia had never given me a reason to worry, but Christine was worried. I had no idea what to do.

"Michael, are you paying attention?" Sofia asked me and I looked up at her.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about Christine. I'm a little worried about her." I admitted.

"Well, you should focus on what we're doing." She said, but right then my phone went off. It was a message from mom.

Michael, Katherine is sick. Is there any chance you can come home?

"Sorry Sofia, I've got to go. We'll pick this up tomorrow." I said as I got up, grabbing my computer and shutting it, getting out of my seat.

"But, Michael…" She called, but I just walked off.

I knew I promised to tutor her and I took a week off work to help and focus on this assignment, but my sister came first.
