Hey guys! Welcome to the third installment of my 'Under the Mistletoe Series Part Two'
What is this series? Well, around this time six years I got the song 'Holly Jolly Christmas' stuck in my head and wrote eleven drabbles based on kissing underneath mistletoe, and each one was for a different ship. This year I decided to do a Part Two and really challenge myself by writing something for each day from 1st-25th December. So twenty five ships, all kissing under mistletoe, like my own personal advent calendar as it were. Each one can be read alone. I know that not everyone is going to want to read every fic in the series, but I hope that you find them all enjoyable regardless, I know I certainly had fun writing them.
This is my second Piercifer fic (apart for their inclusion in Convergence). I need to write more of these two, hopefully you like this one ^_^
Enjoy, much love xox

It was Christmas Eve and of course they'd had a fight. Lucifer had been at the precinct when Chloe had asked Lieutenant Pierce what he would be doing for Christmas. The Lieutenant had quickly glanced at Lucifer and then told her that he was doing nothing. The truth was that Pierce was spending the day with Lucifer. It had hurt Lucifer's feelings once again to know that Marcus still couldn't be open about their relationship. Lucifer was gung ho to tell everyone but Pierce refused; he claimed that it would be a conflict of interest at work. However, the Devil knew that it was just his commitment issues getting in the way. Lucifer had worked through his own commitment issues and he had thought that Marcus would be able to work through his too, but after a few months of sneaking around Pierce was still not ready to announce their relationship even to their closest friends.
Lucifer had stolen a moment of privacy with the Lieutenant in his office, where they had yet another heated discussion about their relationship. Lucifer left almost immediately afterward, claiming that he had to get ready for Lux's Christmas Eve party. He wasn't exactly lying; he did need to get ready for the party even though he didn't particularly feel like it now.
Upon returning to his penthouse Lucifer poured himself a decent sized drink and downed it in one. He realised he was more upset than anything, and idly he wondered if Marcus would ever be ready to tell people. Would he ever really be able to commit to Lucifer and the way that Lucifer had to him? Apart from the arguments they seemed to be going well though as far as Lucifer could tell; proper relationships weren't exactly his forte. Pierce usually spent a lot of time in Lucifer's penthouse enjoying mind blowing sex or just having a few drinks and reminiscing about the last few thousand years.
Chloe had almost caught them a couple of times as she liked to announce her arrival by letting herself into the penthouse. Thankfully, she left rather abruptly after realising what she had walked in on. Now she calls ahead. Although, she had been asking Lucifer questions about his love life lately, so he thought that maybe she was on to them.
After another drink, Lucifer showered and dressed in a red velvet suit with a white button up, he even added a Santa hat to his perfectly styled hair. It was such a look that he spent five minutes admiring himself in the mirror before he exited the penthouse and took the elevator down to Lux.
The music was already blaring and the club was half full. It was a Christmas themed party, of course, so the club had been decked out with tinsel, flashing lights, and strings of mistletoe hanging from the ceiling. The paid dancers had skimpy Santa and elf outfits, and it seemed that the customers had embraced the same idea with their own versions of slutty Santas, elves, angels and snowmen.
If it were a normal night Lucifer would have just brooded in his penthouse all night and not come down to the club, but as it was Christmas Eve it was in his, and the club's, best interest to don a smile and join the masses in the celebration. Maybe it would help him to feel better.
He made the rounds to the high profile clients with a constant drink in hand, and spent some time on the dance floor; letting the music take his troubles away. Lucifer was just actually starting to enjoy himself when through the crowd he spotted his tall, muscular, secret boyfriend coming towards him still in his work clothes.
"Lieutenant, what are you doing here?" Lucifer tried to sound neutral, and not as intoxicated as he felt.
"I needed to see you, can we talk?" Pierce requested loudly.
Lucifer could see where the conversation was going to go already, "I'm sick of fighting about this Marcus, just go home and let me enjoy my night."
"I don't want to fight, and I don't want my issues to come between us anymore," Pierce tried to tell him over the music.
The dance floor was not the best place for a conversation and Lucifer had trouble hearing him over the music as it peaked, "What?" he shouted.
Pierce rolled his eyes and exaggerated a sigh, then he turned and strode up to the DJ's platform. After a few quick words with the DJ, Pierce acquired a microphone and the music died. Everyone in the club turned to look at the Lieutenant, wondering why the music had stopped playing.
"Sorry to interrupt your night I just have a quick announcement to make and then the music will be back," Pierce spoke into the microphone to the audience.
They stared back at him, waiting, while Lucifer made his way to the front to stop Pierce before he made a fool of himself, but it was too late.
"I, Marcus Pierce, am in a relationship with Lucifer Morningstar, and I'm not afraid to say it!" Pierce declared into the microphone.
He held his hand out for Lucifer, and the Devil came up onto the platform with him; a huge grin on his face. Under the mistletoe hanging from the ceiling, Marcus held Lucifer in his arms, gazed into his eyes for a moment, and then kissed him deeply in front of the entire club.
The crowd cheered, applauded and whistled until the two men got down from the platform and the music resumed.
Lucifer was stunned, "You know that we will be the talk of the town, and everyone in L.A. will know that we're dating by morning."
"I know, and I don't care anymore," Pierce admitted with a soft smile and kissed him again, pulling the Devil in close.
Of course murderers didn't care that it was Christmas day, so Pierce and Lucifer got called in to the precinct before lunchtime. If anyone noticed that they arrived together they said nothing; maybe word hadn't spread as fast as Lucifer had predicted.
However, Chloe did notice when Lucifer squeezed Pierce's ass and said, "I'll see you tonight, babe."
Her eyes were bugging as Lucifer strutted over to her desk, smirk on his face, "So, what's the situation?"
"I was about ask you the same thing."
