Kim Possible: Invisible

Kim and Shego were in the living room of her villa, Kim listening to them on her small Kimmunicator through the bug left behind to monitor the pair when they overheard Wade's claims.
"So," Shego asked, wearing the spare glasses again for her own convenience, "Is he saying you can somehow use dimensional portals as a power?"
"It does sound like it," Kim said with a smile. "Sounds like fun, too. I'll have to figure that out, because it could be handy, too."
"GJ may guess, too, if Fyne is up and chatting yet. They'll be after you more than ever."
"Du is two-dimensional and so stiff he'll never pause to consider anything beyond what is in front of him. Plus, I likely hampered any of his efforts to do anything for a time since I arranged to shut down most, if not all of GJ's intelligence network. About now they're probably still replacing half their computer systems, and hoping they can reinstall their backup systems," Kim declared smugly.
"Oooo, that's a good one. I wish I could have seen it."
"I'm sure it panicked him, and knowing how he thinks, he's going to be overly cautious, and hamstring his own efforts trying to get operational again. Especially once he figures out Dr. Director is missing."
"He can be thick. I've noticed that one myself."
"Too inflexible. So hung up on the rules he won't even consider looking outside the box, let alone know-how," Kim remarked.
"So, what's next?"
"Next, I think I'll take some time, and figure out if I can find out just what else has changed," the redhead said as she held up her hands, and flexed them. "I'm looking forward to finding out just what else I might be able to do besides hiding from the world," Kim's crooked smirk declared.
"Hungry yet?"
"You know, I think I am. Just make whatever, though. I'm still not ravenous like I had been. Looks like this little….upgrade ended that issue. Which I don't mind."
"I'll start something. You really going to leave that pair on their own down there?"
"Well, I might give them company if someone else annoys me. Or if I decide they deserve it. It's going to be a cell no one can escape, that's for certain," Kim laughed as she headed for the door.
"Yeah," Shego said, watching her go as she now pulled off the glasses to tuck them into her skirt's pocket. She had already found if she wore them too long, they were made her own eyes a little strained. Kim said the choice was hers, but not to risk her own health.
Heading for the kitchen, even she wondered if Kim really was….losing her own self. If she were, what could she do? Did she even have the right to do anything? She remembered her own fall, as most deemed it. Kim, she felt, did have cause to be furious at the world. After all she had done, she had been betrayed by her own, and that had to hurt. Especially since Kimmie had always been a trusting little Pollyanna that believed in everyone.
Until now.

That evening after their simple meal, Kim and Shego sat on the couch as Kim kept gesturing oddly with her hands, and doing something Shego couldn't quite understand.
Still, from the redhead's changing expressions, she was obviously doing something. Something she knew Kim would explain when she was ready because Kim apparently didn't bother trying to keep secrets from her. If anything, they were growing closer even as Kim withdrew from the rest of the world. She had yet to even try to call her own family or friends of late.
"So, tell me something, Shego. Be honest," she finally said as she finally lowered her hands.
Shego eyed her with the glasses on again since she tried to help the redhead as much as she could, and sometimes that meant she had to see her.
"Sure. What is it, Princess?"
"What is the one thing, the most impossible thing that you ever wanted to do, but even you couldn't manage? Tell me," she asked as she grinned at the comet-powered woman.
"Putin's vault in the Kremlin. Even I could never get in there," she said after a moment with a smirk. "Not for lack of trying," she added.
"What is in it?"
"What isn't? The guy is said to have some of the most famous treasures in history in there. Some recovered from the Nazis, and some were hidden by Stalin all this time until Putin took them. Only I also heard he has the Eye of Gaia, the world's largest and most flawless emerald. I always wanted it, for, ah, bragging rights," she chuckled herself.
"Sounds interesting. Let's see if I can figure this out," Kim said as she shifted, and apparently rose from the couch as her hands began to move and gesture again.
Almost an instant later, the air before them began to shimmer visibly, and Kim giggled.
"Oops, wrong room. I think that's his bedroom. Ah, here we go. Want to join me," Kim asked, and Shego eyed the hand held out to her.
"Lead the way, Princess," Shego declared as she fearlessly took the hand, and stepped into the open air to suddenly find herself standing in a huge metal vault lined with treasures, paintings, and more.
"Those bricks… That's pure platinum," Shego gasped as she eyed a large pallet full of gleaming metal rectangles. "The rumors were true."
"And your emerald?"
Shego looked around, quickly scanning the vault, assessing the treasures around them, and then went to an ivory cask the size of a shoebox. When she opened the jeweled lid she just stood and stared. Inside, a huge green jewel sparkled in the faint light, and Shego cooed over the large stone.
"The Eye," she murmured to Kim.
"Take it," Kim told her with a nod. "Take anything you want. It's yours."
Shego turned in the redhead's direction.
"Just like that?"
"You've been my only real friend, Shego. You've been the only one that stood with me without making demands or forcing things on me. In your own way, you've been honest from the start, too. Consider this your reward," Shego was told.
She closed the casket, and lifted the jeweled ivory case, and smiled, "This is all I have ever wanted since the day I read about it. Anything else is incidental."
"You know, this guy would absolutely freak if he lost his trove wouldn't he," Kim asked as she took Shego's free hand, and the air began to churn before them again.
"Probably."
"Let's go. Then I'll hide his entire vault someplace where he will never find it again," Kim giggled. "That should leave him scratching his head, and they will never guess you took anything."
"Clever," Shego grinned as they walked back through the portal, and just that quickly stood in Shego's living room again.
"I think I already have the hang of this thing," Kim laughed. "And Wade always thought I was slow."
"Boys," Shego sneered. "So where will you send Putin's vault?"
"Already did," she grinned as she watched Shego. "I put it on the moon. In a deep cave, one of the boy's probes found a while back while they were playing with remote control rocket-drones."
"I'm not going to ask," Shego declared, and set the jeweled, ivory casket on the coffee table, and opened it again.
"Have you ever seen anything so beautiful," she asked.
"Yes," Kim told her quietly and put a hand on her cheek.
"Kimmie?"
"You're my jewel, Shego. You…. You're all that's beautiful to me," she told her as Shego felt Kim's hand stroke her cheek as her eyes closed a moment.
Shego blushed.
"That's sweet, Princess. I didn't realize you felt that way."
"Always. Only I could never admit it. Not until now. Besides, what else matters?"
"Just you, Kimberly," Shego told her, and closed the casket.
"Not even your treasure?"
"The fact you would offer me such a thing makes you even more special," Shego told her, and reached out, found her, and pulled her into her arms. "You are my greatest treasure," Shego told her, and cupping her cheek, moved to kiss her.
Kim kissed back even as Shego began to disappear in her grasp.

"Any word?"
"Nothing, sir. We haven't been able to find Dr. Director anywhere. Agents at Dr. Lode's house found his workroom a mess, his computers and equipment completely destroyed, and him missing, too. We have to consider…."
"Possible came for them. Both of them," Agent Du said grimly.
Burn Burnman frowned, and asked, "Agent Du, if Possible is invisible, and she's coming after us now, how do we stop her?"
"I'm not sure," Will admitted. "Only we have to try. She obviously set up the hacking job. She obviously broke into both Wade Lode's and Dr. Director's secure residences. So we can't discount her skills. Added to that, her invisibility cloak makes her all but impossible to detect, or stop. Still, if we can predict her next likely targets, we can arrange to trap her. That, just now, is our best chance."
"So, what do you think her next likely target," Agent Dunne asked somberly as they conferred on their next move.
"I'm not sure. But someone will so let's get everyone on this, and prepare for her next attack. Before she leaves us in the dust again," Will complained. "Meanwhile, someone try to contact Stoppable. Even he has to see Possible has potentially become a major threat."
