Collins sat alone in the loft, trying to get his thoughts straight. Somehow, he couldn't believe Angel was really gone. He loved her so much...they were like one soul... It didn't seem possible someone so perfect could be taken away so fast.
He grabbed a pen and paper and began to scribble madly.
Isn't it ironic, how you find the love of your life and then they die before you can tell them just how much you love them? How the best thing in the world can be taken away in an instant? "A death row pardon, two minutes too late." Writing a beautiful play that will touch the hearts of many, but dying opening day (1). Loving someone so much, but then getting AIDS from them. Graduating valedictorian, getting perfect grades, beautiful, then on your way home you get killed by a drunk driver. "Meeting the man of your dreams, then meeting his beautiful wife. It's like rain on your wedding day." It's being told the truth, but not listening. Getting a engaged to the love of your life & high school sweetheart, then they commit suicide. It's like having the perfect prom night, and then getting shot by your date. It's unconditioned love from another, and then they die of AIDS.
Life is ironic. Good things happen and then something bad directly follows. Yin and Yang.
Life is so precious, none of us can fathom.
Angel always told us No Day But Today, I guess he knew what it takes most a lifetime to figure out.
We only have today. Live it up.
