Every time she exited the portal, Sunset is always greeted by her friends in the castle. Even though this happens every time Sunset wants to visit Equestria, this is always a welcoming sight to have.

Usually, after the chatter with friends, Sunset would head for the train to meet Twilight in Canterlot. From there, she and Twilight would hang out as much as they could until the princess needs to go back to her duties once more.

This happens every time Sunset and Twilight managed to have free time together, which is honestly rare. Sure, they have the journals, but being able to be physically there for each other was a great thing to have.

Sunset would love to live in Twilight's castle, but she loves her life in the human world as well, to hang out with her won friends. As much as she loves Twilight, she can't give up her life there. Twilight understands this, and she doesn't hold a grudge against her. They can survive with visits once in a while. Either Sunset visiting Equestria, or Twilight visiting the human world.

But this time... it'll be a little different. Not life changing, but just something that gives them a bit more time together.

Twilight can't help but to smile, her hooves almost fidgeted, but she reminded herself that she've done this before... 20 years ago. She can just do it again.

She was able to endure these silly little rumors about her being vain enough to have a big mirror in her own room, rumors her citizens don't realize she can hear sometimes. That's basically a few bits of crumbs from what she've experienced throughout her past, but now she can have a bit more happiness in her life.

There was some trial and error here and there, but she kept persisting.

As she put on the visiting touches, Twilight can't resist the grin on her face, watching the pink magic flow into the machinery. The familiar pink portal appeared, replacing the mirror's reflection.

Twilight almost want to jump into the portal herself, but somepony beat her to it.

Almost like a ball of fire, Twilight's beloved jumped through the portal's surface. She would had crashed into the floor if the princess haven't used her magic just in time.

She can't help but to swing Sunset around until she was able to hold her into a tight embrace.

She reached up to kiss her cheek. "It's been a while."

"With how you reacted, it's obvious that you're excited about this visit." Twilight buried her face into her sunny mane, remembering to avoid her horn.

"I get to see you sooner. What more can I ask for?"

Twilight giggled, taking the time to nip at her ear and enjoy the small squeal from her. "Let's make up for that lost time."

Sunset grinned widely, enjoying her warmth. She wouldn't give this up for the world.
