A miracle is a meeting of two people who complete one another. Jarod was definitely sure he could get use to waking up each new day with Miss Parker by his side for the rest of his life. It was early evening when they finally got up. She sat up in bed, moaned softly as she raised her hands into the air and stretched. Jarod ran his hand up and down her bare back. She turned and smiled.
Flashback
It was love in the afternoon. Their love making session was quite extraordinary. Neither one of them had ever made love before in broad daylight. This time she took the lead. Miss Parker nurtured Jarod with kind words. It softened him up. He laid on his stomach as she gave him a good back rub, every now and then, she gently pressed her front on him as she lightly brushed her pointed breasts and whispered into his ears. She told him how much she wanted him and how much she loved to look at him. As she massaged him, she jiggled the right spots which made Jarod moan. He flipped over and propped his head with pillows and made sure he got a good view of her as she straddled him. She teased him for a while, eventually to a point of torture for him. He tried to reach out for her, but Miss Parker slapped his hands down and told him to wait.
He growled and begged, but she just smiled and told him she was the one in control this time. His eyes was on her, he laid back helplessly. She wanted him to focus entirely on her seductive show and his pleasure. Miss Parker first kissed him on his chest, then worked her way up, teased his lips with her tongue for a minute or two, then kissed him as she finally released his hands which gave him full control of the situation. By then, they were fully excited that the explosion by the both of them came exactly at the same time.
End Of Flashback
A loud bang at the front door caused both to jump which had them immediately reached down for their clothing that laid on the bedroom floor. By the time Jarod and Miss Parker entered into the leaving room, Lyle had already broken in along with Sam.
"How...what...shit!" She screamed. "Get the hell out of here!"
As she bravely moved towards her brother, Jarod held her back, "Parker, he's deranged. Don't go near him," he cautioned her.
"How the hell did you find us?" Jarod yelled.
Lyle laughed, ignored him and turned his attention to Miss Parker. "You're numbers are dwindling, my peking duck. You'll be lucky to be alive tomorrow."
"Sam? What are you doing here?" The Ice Queen asked her favorite sweeper. "You take orders from me, not this psycho."
"Not anymore," he mumbled as he pointed his gun at the both of them.
"Come with me, sis or lover boy gets it right now," Lyle told his other half coldly, as he too pointed his pistol at her. "Sam, handcuff our pretender here. Don't want him in the way."
Obediently, Sam cuffed Jarod and pushed him hard against the wall.
"Jarod!" Miss Parker cried out. Lyle yanked her arm and hung on to her tightly.
"Bastard, leave her alone. Take me. You can take me back to The Centre." Jarod hollered.
Lyle laughed cynically. "You're not my type of dish."
"Come on, sister dear. Let's go for a ride. Must not be late for dinner. I shall add some flavoring to you, a little spice here, a little there, then you'll be to my liking." He winked at her and moistened his lips, grabbed her and twisted her hands behind her back as he headed them to the front door.
"Parker!" Jarod yelled. "Lyle, you son of a bitch, I'll kill you," he screamed at the top of his lungs and kicked the wall. "You lay a hand on her, I'll kill you! I swear I'll kill you."
"Shut up!" Sam pointed his pistol to Jarod's neck.
Miss Parker turned to look at him one last time before Lyle pulled her by the arm and stuck his gun into her. "Don't think I wouldn't use it." She was silent, but petrified.
"Let's go out quietly and no sudden moves or Sam will put a bullet into that brilliant head of his."
"I love you, Jarod," she called out to him as Lyle pushed her out of the house.
"I love you, Jarod," Lyle parroted her. "Sam, I have no use for him. Call the rest of the sweepers, wait for them, then meet me you know where and soon we both can enjoy this feast," he called out.
Jarod noticed the reaction on Sam's face as he turned away and caught a glimpse of him as he cringed.
"Sam! Did you hear me?"
"Yea, yea boss." He grabbed a hand-cuffed Jarod by the shoulders and pushed him down on the sofa. Sam stood and watched Mr. Lyle and Miss Parker through the window until they no longer were in sight. He then followed his instructions, walked into another part of the house then returned.
"Headache?" Jarod asked sarcastically as Sam walked back into the room. and rubbed his temples.
"Shut up," he mumbled, as he laid down his gun.
Jarod noticed the changed in Sam's demeanor once Lyle was gone.
"He really is going to hurt her, you know. He meant everything he said. He will. I've always cared for Miss Parker. She's everything that is good and beautiful in this world," his voiced cracked.
"Do you know where Lyle's taking her, Sam." Jarod spoke slowly and calmly.
"Yes." Sam said nothing else, but, only paced the floor.
"Damned it, Sam. Tell me!"
"I never wanted this to happen to her. It was just by chance, I found the both of you. I wasn't even aware you were in this area. I told Lyle about it, didn't know he had this vendetta against his sister. He was more obsessed in her than with capturing you. I never wanted this to happen to her," he repeated as if in a trace.
"Sam, snap out of this! Unless you want her killed, tell me where the hell she is!" Jarod demanded.
Just then they heard footsteps up the walkway. "Must be the rest of your sweepers," Jarod yelled.
Sam headed to the front door, opened it. As he led the two men into the living room, the only voice Jarod heard was Sam's.
"You're late. They're gone. Miss Parker's with Lyle. She could be dead by now." Sam spoke as if he was full of regrets.
Jarod looked up, his eyes popped out, confused to see his mentor, Sydney and Broots as they stood before him.
"Sydney, Broots! You've joined them? You're taking me back to The Centre?" Jarod did not know what to think and if he could trust them anymore.
"Uncuff him." Sydney motioned to Sam.
"Ja-Jarod, are you okay?" Broots asked nervously.
"Yes, I'm fine," he answered as he rubbed his wrists. He turned to Sydney, then to Broots, still a bit confused.
"Jarod," as usual Sydney spoke calmly. "Sam called us, realized Lyle as the maniac he is, decided on us instead of the sweepers to contact.
Jarod grabbed Sam by the collar of his shirt and slammed him against the wall. "Where'd that psychopath take her, huh? I'll kill him and you too, if you don't tell me where he took her!"
"He's our only link to Miss Parker, Jarod. Let him go."
