A/N: To Mikaela over at Passions, thank you for allowing me to use your name (Flawless "N" Dirty Nights)

Never give up your dreams, no matter what they are. Miss Parker closed her eyes. She thought of all the things she'd miss like the smell of rain before it actually fell and freshly cut grass on an early morning. She loved the way the sun rose on a newly found day and how it would set to end each night. But, most of all, she'd miss Jarod.

Miss Parker look around the room. It was what she'd expected from Lyle. The house looked like something which came out of a Steven King movie. The tattered curtains hung from the rods, the living room sofa covered with a sheet which might have been the color of white. Her tears dripped down her face when she thought of Jarod. She never thought the last time they kissed was indeed the last time they kissed. Miss Parker loved him more than life.

"Monsters deserves to die!" She screamed at the top of her lungs at Lyle as he entered the room. "And you are a monster! I'll fight you tooth and nail before you lay a hand on me, you bastard!" The sound of her handcuffs on her wrists and legs rattled as she moved about in her chair.

Lyle stroked her face. "I'll bet Jarod is sure going to miss the feel of your skin, ah, "flawless 'n' dirty nights", he'll miss those, too." He laughed. "But, I'll have better use for you, my tasty dish."

"You want a piece of me, you barbarian? I'm not your type. I'll make a deal with you." She bravely tried to negotiate with him. "If you let me go, I'll never stand in your way with any dealings at The Centre. I won't tell "daddy". I'll do anything!" Miss Parker panicked. "Let me go, Lyle. I won't say a thing to anyone."

"Ha! And that boyfriend of yours? How are you going to stop him from coming after me? He obviously loves you. I can't see why. Okay, okay, let me think. Nope! No deal. He can join me at my feast. That's the only way he'll ever have you again!"

Broots drove while Sam gave directions to Lyle's little hideaway. Sydney sat in the back seat quietly with his pretender. Jarod clenched his fist and suddenly punched hard at the back of the front passenger's seat which made Sam go slightly forward.

"Jarod," Sydney spoke calmly and grabbed his hand. "Sam has agreed to help us, remember that. He's on our side now."

Time is measured by seconds, minutes, hours and by moments. Jarod's heart raced, his metabolism sped up. He needed to be with her. He needed to save her. It had taken them years to be together and he was not about to lose her due to the hands of the deranged Mr. Lyle.

No amount of pleading would have changed her brother's mind. Her time would be wasted to have persuaded him to let her go. So, Miss Parker sat quietly, closed her eyes, weeped silently and waited for death's door to end her life.

Her dreams were shattered. Her dreams of having a life with Jarod no longer existed.

A/N: Gosh, I am so sorry this is taking me so long to finish this story. I'm just about ready to just delete this whole bloody fanfic. Although, I'm writing fics on Grey's Anatomy and now Bones, Jarod and Miss Parker are still my NUMBER ONE FAVORITES. Thanks! And stay tuned.
