Camila was having coffee with her mother when she was asked the big question.

"So, Mija, how did your date go?"

"It went... very well, I have another one in three weeks."

"Look at you, getting your first second date." Her mother said, "When do I get to meet this man?"

"Mami, I've only gone on one date. At least wait until we've had our third date before you want to meet him."

"Your third date, huh? Are you implying that you want to start going steady with this man?"

"I... I wouldn't mind it, but... I don't know."

"Camila, do you love this man?"

"Yes."

"Then... there's your answer."

Camila smiled.

"Thank you, Mami."

"You're welcome. Now, tell me about this man."

"Well, he's tall."

"Which is better than your last date. How tall was he, again? Four foot nine?"

"Four foot eight." Camila said, "Anyways, when I'm with him it's... magical. I've never felt this way before."

"I know the feeling. When I met your dad, I felt like I could spend my entire life with him."

Camila smiled. It's only been one date, but she already wants to spend the rest of her life with him. She wants to marry him, have his child, be his Empress. In the Demon Realm, Alexander Belos was sitting on the throne when Kikimora walked in.

"I take it last night was successful?" She asked.

"It was... enchanting."

"That's good to here, my Liege. Any plans for another date?"

"In three weeks. I'm going to the Human Realm, which reminds me." He gets up and starts heading for the door, "I need to find something that humans would wear."

He left the room and went to his chambers. Kikimora had a look that no one could see, a look that said, 'Everything was working, soon there will be an Empress'. In the Human Realm, Camila was looking through her closet. She was going to be taking him to her favorite place in Northern California. She can't wait for him to see it. There was a knock on her door and she went over to open it.

"Hello, Carmelo."

"Hey, little sis."

"Litte? You're only four seconds older than me."

"So, how'd your date go?"

Camila rolled her eyes.

"It was nice. I have another date in three weeks."

"Great, so when do I get to be a good older brother and threaten him if he attempts to hurt you?"

"I don't think that would work."

"Why? What is he this time, five foot three?"

"He's seven feet tall."

"... Do you have a ladder?"

"Did you come here just to say that?"

"No, I actually was wondering if you wanted to hang out, a little sibling bonding time."

"Well, last time we had our 'Sibling Bonding Time' we ended up in jail for the night because, and I quote, 'They're just illegal fireworks, what's the worst that can happen?'"

"Cami, just... this is important." He said, a little nervous.

Camila looked at her brother a little surprised. He's never spoken in this kind of tone before.

"O-okay. I'll go with you."

Carmelo took her to a local diner and they sat in silence for a minute. Camila noticed him bouncing his leg fast.

"Carmelo, Hermano, what's wrong?"

"I... I got laid off yesterday."

"I... I'm sorry. I can't imagine what you're going through, you just got married and now you're unemployed."

He let out a small chuckle.

"A-actually... I'm not unemployed. I... I got a new job."

"Really? W-where do you work?"

"You... you remember when we were thirteen, I told you what my dream job was?"

"You mean?"

"Yep, got signed this morning. Flying out for my first fight next week."

"B-but Mamá said-"

"I know, but I this is the only chance I have in order to support my wife and I. The World Boxing Organization is giving me a chance."

"But if Mamá finds out then-"

"That's what I need your help with. How do I tell her without her getting upset? I mean you heard how she was when Papá went to fight in Vietnam in 1968."

Camila shudders at that story. It was horrible.

"Well, what did she expect? Our family has a long list of veterans dating back to before our family immigrated to the United States. Remember their reaction when you broke into the gun safe and got ahold of his M16?"

He laughed.

"She was horrified. Papá then started training me on how to use it."

Camila grabbed his hand.

"You'll need to tell her. She'll understand, we'll do it when I introduce Alexander to them."
