To say that Camila was nervous, would be an understatement. She was helping her brother and introducing Alexander to her family, earlier than she would've liked. They haven't even become official yet. Her mind went a mile a minute.

"What if they don't like him? What if something goes wrong? What if they find out he's a witch?"

She started taking deep breaths. She looked in the mirror she has in her apartment bedroom and started calming down.

"Calm down, Camila. They won't find out, and even if they do, what will happen? You're a grown ass adult. They can't control who you date... but they will have to find out if you end up getting married." She sat on her bed, "What am I going to do?"

She heard a knocked on the door and went to answer it. She opened it and her brother and his wife, Melissa, entered.

"Well, ready to get this night underway?" Carmelo asked.

"Almost, why don't you two go ahead? I'll catch up."

They listened to her and she grabbed the orb. She arrived at Alexander's throne room and saw him sitting on the throne.

"Hello, Camila." Alex said.

"Hello, Alexander."

Alexander came over and grabbed Camila's hand and kissed it. Camila laughed a little.

"So, are you ready?" Alexander asked.

"Actually, there will be a small detour before our date. We're going to meet my parents."

"Moving a little fast, aren't we? We aren't even an official couple."

"W-would you like to be?" Camila asked.

Alexander didn't say anything. They moved closer and pressed their lips together. After almost thirty seconds, they separated.

"Does that answer your question?" He asked.

Camila nodded and they kissed again. Camila looked up at him.

"This is hard to do, you're like two feet taller than me."

"You'll get used to it. Now then, let's go see your parents."

"Hopefully this will work."

"You have a plan." Alex noted.

"Yeah, my brother-"

"You don't need to explain it to me, I'll simply go along with what I hear."

Camila brought him to her parents' house and she could already hear yelling.

"Damn it, Carmelo." Camila said. She grabbed Alexander's hand and pulled, "Come on."

They went inside and saw Camila's mother yelling at Carmelo.

"OF ALL THE STUPID THINGS YOU'VE DONE, THIS TAKES THE FUCKING CAKE!"

Camila was surprised, her mother never swore. She really hated the thought of her children getting hurt so for one of them to become a professional fighter is clearly the worst possible job in her mind. The only thing worse than that was one of them joining the military, but there weren't any wars and hopefully won't be any soon so it was unlikely that either of them would join the military anytime soon.

"Um, Mami?"

Everyone turned to see Camila holding the hand of Alexander.

"Mija, I didn't see you there. Is this your famous partner we've heard so much about?" Camila's father asked.

"Sí, this is Alexander, my boyfriend."

"Greetings, it's a pleasure to see the people that managed to create the Goddess before me." Alexander said.

She hoped that would be enough to stop the fighting, but it wasn't. They went back to fighting. She had to get this to stop, so she pulled out the card up her sleeve. The one thing she didn't want to happen.

"Alex, separate them." She said.

He understood what she meant and made a spell circle. They were covered in red outlines and floated to other sides of the room. Camila hoped that the one thing she didn't want to happen would end the fighting.

This was supposed to come out hours ago, but I've been dog sitting all day. My brother's dog, like him, is an athlete... I'm not. 4 days. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
