Prologue: Paid in Full

"N-No! A-aahh!" A Miltank shrieks as her body rocked against a towering figure above her, tears coming from her shut eyes combined with her sobbing as she was violated yet again by her "owner". This… giant flesh excuse of a Pokémon.

"Come on! You're supposed to give me milk!" The Emboar in front of her commands with demented lust in his eyes. He grabbed one of her udders and gave it a hard tug.

She shrieked in response, nothing coming out of there. "P-Plea-ah! I-I can't produce these few days-"

"Who do you think bought you while no one else did, huh? If you can't do your job, then you must. Be. Punished!"

"S-stop…!" Every rock of the bed beneath them made her scream more loudly.

Splat.

The Emboar's giant body rests on the Miltank, making her scream in fear. However, nothing else has happened from that point onward as she would expect. Strange… where was that heat? And..

...What was that warm liquid running down on her… head?

Slowly, and shaking, she opened an eyelid and shrieks, seeing the frozen look of the Emboar, a small hole right through his forehead, seeping blood continuously.

And… far away, much further away, at a raised level of grass, the grass at one spot oddly rustles… with nothing there. It wasn't wind; the rest of the grass would have blown.

Then… What was it?

A Krokorok bit onto the claws on his fingers lightly, not too much as to not break them. He paced around in what appears to be a hideout, sweat trickling down his head. Furniture was all turned about, leaving a great mess of the place.

"Not good, not good… If I can't pay, he'll kill me thinking I am cheap, then I can't win against that… No, no, I need to get something, something-"

He heard a thump, causing him to shriek like a female and sharply looking over at the sound, only to see nothing else there other than a table and overthrown chairs…

...Until a certain space of air suddenly shifted. From there, the "air" changed… into an Inteleon.

"O-oh! You're… you're back!" The Krokorok couldn't hide his terror of imminent doom, at least trying to pretend that no one heard him scream like a little girl. He looked at the sharp gaze of the Inteleon, moving his eyelids around the trashed place. "U-uh, nothing special happened! Just… got into a mess trying to, uh, kill an annoying bug!"

"...My payment?" The Inteleon looks back at the Krokorok, making him jolt.

"O-oh! Uh… uh…" The Krokorok's head jerks about and he then turns to a flipped cabinet, running to it and opening the topmost drawer, a small pouch falling from there. He picked it up and hurried over to the Inteleon. "H-Here!"

"..." The Inteleon quietly took the pouch from the shaking hands of the Krokorok and continued to stare at him. He then opened the pouch and looked inside of it. "...You're missing five more pieces of rubies."

The Krokorok froze up. That's it. It's over. He'll die a quick and painless death. He'll die for trying to hire this mercenary, renowned by clients for his skills. He'll die without achieving anything important in his lif-

"What did they look like?"

"H-Huh?"

The Inteleon looked at him. "What did they look like?" The icy tone in his voice kept unnerving the Krokorok. He gulped loudly, unable to keep a very obviously failing act any longer.

"...T-The place was ransacked by bandits! I-I hid as best as I could, they stole my stuff! I think I got a glimpse of them wearing blue scarves but it could be any Pokémon that I can't tell whether they really are bandits but they may kill me if they see me-"

He had his eyes closed the whole time and when he reopened them, the Inteleon was gone. "...Y-Yeah, I'd just… I'd stay here… man the fort…" he slowly dropped down into a seating position, quickly falling on his back because he had forgotten a chair wasn't behind him.

And so he remained seated at his spot. Right now, he really regretted hiring this mercenary. He heard that he was practically the top of the place around here, finishing assassination requests with a considerably hefty price for his services. Okay, maybe getting rid of that pig was his own personal feelings instead of what many other people wanted from the extortion there. He couldn't handle any more of that "care". Hell, he just wanted him dead… that's all…

He wagered he waited for around half an hour, the Krokorok looked down. Why did he hire someone completely out of his control? He could just be long gone, leaving him in this miserable state…

He heard footsteps, prompting him to look up. "...Y-You're… back?" What caught the Krokorok's attention first was the bloody sack held by one hand of the Inteleon.

"Found them and killed them." The Inteleon says, his other arm holding some valuables. The Krokorok watches him put the objects down and he nearly vomits when the Inteleon opens up the sack and shows him what was inside.

"O-o-okay, you showed me proof of their deaths… Can you please close it?" He requests. The Inteleon complies, closing the sack and putting it aside. The Krokorok took a pouch that was present, looking inside of it.

"Pay me 5 rubies."

"Wh-what?"

"Pay me 5 rubies. You only paid me ten of them. You can pay me in full."

"..." The Krokorok eyed him nervously, he didn't want to try and challenge his luck at all. "H-How do I know you didn't take any rubies?"

"I didn't. Take a look if you don't believe me." The Inteleon first gave him the pouch that contained the first payment. He looked and could count ten rubies. Genuine as he gave them. He looked back at the Inteleon, his arms spread while saying nothing. Gulping, he understood, frisking the Inteleon to make sure he wasn't hiding anything else.

After a full body check, he stepped away. "...Okay… I did hire you for that job, after all…" He took out five rubies and put it in the Inteleon's pouch, passing it to him. "Here."

He watches the mercenary take his payment and turns around, leaving the hideout. The Krokorok remained staring in silence after he left. Slowly getting up, he shudders and walks over to a bag with a long strap to sling over him. He opened it and looked at a parchment inside of it and took it out, unrolling it and looking at the contents.

"...Milcren Aleox…" He read from the parchment, a notice of that mercenary he had hired for this job. What a… frightening, and chilling individual.

And away from the hideout, the Inteleon counted his price carefully and accurately. "...Will suffice for two more months." He analyzed. He puts the pouch carefully onto him and stares into the moonlit skies. "...I wonder about your own wellbeing…"

After that, he sets off, disappearing into the night...
