Note: Chapter 12 already? Well, I sure am slow when it comes to this story. However, as long as the ideas keep pumping in, I'll continue to update. I really don't have much to say, except for welcome to chapter 12.

Chapter 12: Katt on the Tracks

Katt Monroe was walking through the streets of Corneria City, minding her own business. She was simply walking because she had something on her mind: if Falco loved her. The two had been dating for some time, but the pink cat didn't believe that her boyfriend loved her. It would appear that he would need to show how he really feels via a heroic act.

Luckily for her, that would come today.

While walking, Katt saw some crooks hanging out near a gutter. Cautious, she decided to avoid them. However, they looked at her before she could escape their sight.

"She's pretty, isn't she boys?" One of the crooks, a wolverine, asked.

"Yeah." Another one, a jaguar, said.

"Do we need weapons boss?" Another crook, a black cat, asked.

"No, we can take her." The wolverine said.

Katt continued to walk down the street, hoping that those crooks wouldn't follow her. Unfortunately for her, they were immediately behind her.

"Can I help you guys?" She asked.

"You can help by coming with us." The jaguar said.

"I'm kinda busy, so I don't have time for what you want." Katt said.

"Kind of surly, aren't you?" The wolverine asked.

"I'm not in the mood for this, gentlemen." The pink cat said.

"Looks like we'll have to take you by force then." The black cat smiled.

"Like Hell you will!" Katt said as she punched the black cat in the face.

The others ran towards Katt, but she managed to defend herself by knocking each of them down with a punch. For good measure, she kicked two of them, a grizzly bear and a rabbit, in the stomach. However, before she could walk away, the wolverine grabbed her by her shoulders.

"You ain't getting away from us, Monroe!" He said.

"Let me go!" Katt angrily spat.

"You know Falco Lombardi, right?" The grizzly bear asked.

"What's it to you?!" The pink cat struggled against the wolverine.

"That makes it better!" The black cat chuckled.

"Get the bag." The wolverine said to the rabbit.

"Here it is." The rabbit said as he handed a massive, satin bag to the grizzly bear.

"In you go, Miss." The grizzly bear smiled as he stuffed Katt into the bag.

"Let me out!" Katt shouted from within the bag.

"Not until we get there." The jaguar said.

The crooks then carried the captured pink cat to their car. Putting the bag into the trunk, they closed it and got into the car. As they drove off, Katt tried to scream.

"Help!" The cat screamed.

"No one can hear you, Miss!" The jaguar said, "Just relax and enjoy the ride!"

Katt then sighed, hoping that someone would save her. She couldn't believe that she had been kidnapped by a couple of lowlifes whose asses they could have kicked. The pink cat could only hope for the best, wishing that wherever they were taking her wasn't somewhere horrible.

The wolverine parked the car near a train station, where a train would arrive in fifteen minutes. Upon getting out, the grizzly bear opened the trunk and pulled out the bag that they were carrying Katt in. After a minute or so of walking, the group pulled the pink cat out of the bag.

"Get the rope." The wolverine told the grizzly bear.

"On it." The grizzly bear said.

"What are you going to do with me?" Katt asked.

"It's pretty obvious." The rabbit stated.

The grizzly bear came back with some rope. The crooks then carried Katt to the railway, tying her to it with the rope. When she was tied up, the pink cat tried to scratch through the rope with her nails. But it was clear that she couldn't.

"I'm going to make a phone call." The wolverine stated.

After dialing his cellphone, the wolverine was greeted with an annoyed "Yes?"

"Is this Falco Lombardi?" The wolverine asked.

"Who is this?" The avian asked from the other half of the line.

"Who I am is not important," The wolverine said, "but what's important is that we have your girlfriend."

"Katt? Where are you keeping her?" Falco's voice asked.

"She's tied to some train tracks." The wolverine said, "You've got less than fifteen minutes to get here, otherwise your pretty kitty will be a big red stain on the ground."

"Falco, help!" Katt yelled, hoping that the bird would hear her.

After a bit of silence, Falco's voice rang out "I'll be there before the train arrives."

Ten minutes had passed, and Katt had roughly four minutes left to live. That was unless Falco saved her in time. However, there was a noise that she instantly knew: the arwings! Falco had arrived, but there was another arwing next to his.

"Huh, Lombardi came with a friend?" The black cat asked.

"If it's Fox McCloud, we can tie him to the tracks as well," The grizzly bear said.

"Be cautious boys." The wolverine stated.

Falco jumped out of his arwing.

"So, you arrived?" The jaguar asked.

"Cut the crap, I'm here to kick your asses!" Falco said.

"We see that you didn't come by yourself." The wolverine said.

"The other one is good at tying and untying knots," Falco smiled, "so she'll help Katt while I fight you!"

"Your escort is a she?" The grizzly bear asked.

The other arwing opened, allowing a cobalt vixen to jump out.

"It's that Krystal lady!" The jaguar said.

"That's right," Krystal smiled, "and I'm going to enjoy rescuing Katt and helping Falco fight you creeps!"

"Please!" The rabbit said.

"Untie Katt first, Krys." Falco told the cobalt vixen.

"On it." Krystal said as she ran over to the bound cat.

"About time I got rescued." Katt said.

"Oh no you don't!" The black cat said as he ran towards them, intent on knocking Krystal down.

"Leave them alone, your fight is with me!" Falco said.

"Alright then," The wolverine said, "let's get this party started."

The crooks all surrounded Falco, but the bird knew what he was dealing with. When the jaguar ran towards him, he was immediately kicked in the stomach. Up next was the rabbit, who was elbow dropped a few times. Then, the wolverine was punched in the face and then the stomach. The last one Falco beat easily was the black cat, who was defeated with a few punches and kicks. The only crook left was the grizzly bear.

Much to Falco's horror, the grizzly bear was running towards Krystal, who was almost finished with untying Katt.

"Watch out!" The bird shouted.

With the help of her telepathy, Krystal managed to avoid the punch that was coming towards her. However, the grizzly bear was quite a formidable opponent. While she did get a few hits in on him, the cobalt vixen was over powered by the bear.

"Lucky me, you can go on the tracks too." The grizzly bear chuckled.

"Unhand me, you fiend!" Krystal shouted as she kneed the bear in the groin, causing him to fall over to the side in pain.

"Now that they're down, can you get me free, hon?" Katt asked.

"Sure." The cobalt vixen said.

"I'm going to help as well." Falco ran towards them.

"Good to know." Krystal said as she resumed untying the ropes that bound Katt to the railway.

Falco managed to help Krystal get the final knot loose, freeing Katt. It was just in time as well, as the train was a few feet away from them. Walking away from the tracks, the three sat down on the ground.

"Thanks for saving me, guys." Katt sighed.

"All in a day's work." Falco said.

"It was nothing, really." Krystal smiled.

"I owe you both something," The pink cat said, "especially you, Falco."

"What is it?" Krystal asked, not really expecting a reward for rescuing Falco's girlfriend.

"This." Katt said as she patted the cobalt vixen on the head before turning to Falco, "And this."

The cat and the bird shared a kiss. Krystal simply smiled, happy to see the couple reignite their spark.

"I love you hon." Katt said.

"I love you too." Falco dreamily said.

"I'll go call the cops and have them arrest the crooks we fought." Krystal said as she walked off. If only I could do the same for Fox.

Note: Don't worry Krystal, you'll be able to save a tied-up Fox in one of my stories. If everyone is wondering why I wrote this chapter, I thought about it after I saw the MechBeth from Star Fox 64. Considering how the boss was literally a freaking train that you had to blow up in order to win, I'm half surprised that there isn't art featuring one of the characters of the series tied to a railway. If there is a picture showing it, let me know. Hell, you can even give this chapter the alternate name "Katt Gets Kidnapped By Some Lowlifes Who Do One of the Long Forgotten 'Save The Damsel Before She Dies' Gags: Tying Her To Train Tracks". What did you guys think of this chapter? Let me know when you leave a review. Until next time guys, peace!
