Note: This is another Tech-centric story, but it shows him in a non-Loonatic role. In case you're wondering why I changed the genre from humor to parody, it's because not all of the oneshots are humorous. I should also explain why I have done two Krystal x Wolf chapters, it's because I felt inspired by Sheppard SD's story "Everchanging". I wonder why he deleted that. I'm just going to let this chapter arrive, because I'm basically rambling here.
Chapter 39: Dr. Tech E. Coyote
A brown coyote was sitting in his office at the hospital. He had been a doctor for roughly two years, so he was used to having patients. However, the amount of patients he had made his job difficult every so often. In fact, the coyote would have to take a break to feel better. Despite that, his patients were often grateful for his work. Today was another day, as he had a few patients coming in.
A knock came on the door.
"Come in." The coyote said.
The door opened and a pink cat came into the room.
"Dr. Coyote?" The feline spoke.
"Katt Monroe," Dr. Coyote greeted, "I take it that you're here for a checkup."
"Actually, I'm here because I hurt whenever I touch my body." Katt stated.
"Show me." The coyote said.
Katt moaned as she touched certain areas on her body with her left pointer finger. Dr. Coyote then looked at her hand, seeing that the finger she was using looked broken.
"I think that you might have a broken finger." Dr. Coyote said, "I suggest that you go buy some splints for it."
"You're a good man, Doctor." Katt said as she kissed him on the cheek.
"Don't you have a husband, Katt?" The coyote asked.
"Falco and I are doing fine," the feline spoke, "but he's kinda sour some days. My guess is that he's mad because we haven't had a kid yet."
"Why is that?" Dr. Coyote asked.
"Fox and Krystal have two kids, Marcus and Susan, and Falco's pretty jealous." Katt said.
"If all else fails, adopt a child or get a pet." The canine doctor said.
"Thanks for the advice, sir." The pink cat said before she left.
"You're welcome." Dr. Coyote said prior to Katt leaving.
When Katt was gone, Dr. Coyote was ready for his next patient. Another knock came on the door, so the canine doctor let the visitor into the room. The visitor was a young doe with gray fur: Dr. Coyote's next patient.
"Little Francine Hare," the canine calmly greeted, "what brings you here?"
"My heart has been beating really fast," Francine sat down, "so mommy told me to come see you."
Dr. Coyote held his stethoscope near Francine's heart, where he could hear the muscle beat rapidly.
"It's no surprise that your heart is beating rapidly." He said, "You are a hare, so your heart beats as fast as a roadrunner."
"Okay, thanks Dr. Coyote." Francine said.
"Is your mother picking you up?" The canine asked.
"No," the young hare said, "but Uncle Fox is."
"Go wait in the waiting room," Dr. Coyote told her, "I'm sure that Fox is there."
"Thanks Mister!" Francine said before she walked out of the room.
When the little girl left, Dr. Coyote sighed to himself. While he could understand why Francine would call Fox such a title, the canine was more perplexed by the fact that she didn't mind where her father was. However, if a man couldn't make the time to see his own child, he wasn't a man: that was one of Dr. Coyote's beliefs. With one more patient for the day, the coyote waited for said patient to arrive. Little did he know, it would be someone he was close to.
"Tech!" A raspy voice came through the door.
"Who is it?" Dr. Coyote asked.
The door opened, revealing a roadrunner with a box of tissues and a runny nose.
"Rev, are you okay?" Dr. Coyote asked in concern.
"Tech-I-don't-feel-so-good!" Rev wheezed.
"I told you, call me 'Dr. Coyote' when I'm at work." The coyote sighed.
"Sorry!" The roadrunner said before coughing into his elbow.
"I think that you might have a cold," the canine said, "you better go get some blood work done and get some prescriptions before you leave this place."
"But-Tech-I-mean-Dr.-Coyote-I'm-afraid-of-needles-and-I-can-barely-stand-the-sight-of-my-own-blood!" Rev said.
"Just close your eyes and don't worry." Dr. Coyote told him, "It only hurts for a little bit and the nurse in charge of the blood drive is very gentle."
Smiling, Rev said "Thanks-Doctor-I'm-so-glad-I-could-kiss-you!"
"You don't want to risk getting me sick, do you?" The canine asked.
"No." The roadrunner said.
"Then go to the lab," the coyote said, "I'll call the nurse and tell her that you're coming down there."
"Thanks-bye!" The avian said before flying out of the room.
When the roadrunner was gone, Dr. Coyote couldn't help but laugh. He just loved it when Rev visited him at work, volunteering to help in spite of not having a degree in health. The two even lived together under the same roof. The coyote and the bird were doing just fine together. After all, they were married.
Note: Next chapter will be a simple story that shows Krystal and Fara Phoenix having an impromptu boxing match before talking to each other about their relationship with Fox. As for this chapter, I think that Tech would make a good doctor. Also, it's pretty obvious who Francine's mother is: Lucy Hare. Francine is my own take on Lucy's daughter from Command. While that game had a crap storyline, I admit that it gave us a few interesting characters. What did you guys think about this chapter? Let me know when you leave a review or give a constructive criticism. Until next time guys, peace!
