Note: This chapter is really short, mainly because I'm in preparation for writing chapter fifty. Chapter fifty is going to be really dirty. However, I hope that it doesn't prevent any of you from reading later chapters. Anyway, here's chapter forty-nine.
Chapter 49: Finn and Snake
While walking through the Land of OOO, Finn noticed that there were no monsters to be slain. In addition, no one needed his help all day. The human boy was okay with this, as it was just a simple day. As he walked, he saw a snake slithering on the ground. The snake itself was green and black with yellow eyes. As it slithered by, Finn watched it.
"So, how are you today?" He asked.
"Jussst wonderful, human." The snake answered him, having a feminine voice.
"You can talk?" Finn asked.
"Of courssse I can, ssstupid boy!" The snake said in annoyance.
"There's no need to be rude." Finn said.
"What'sss your name, anyway?" The snake asked.
"Finn," he answered, "and you?"
"Adder." The snake hissed.
"How long are you going to slither on the ground?" Finn asked.
"How many loavesss of bread have you eaten in your life?" Adder asked.
"I don't know how to answer that." The human stated.
"The point isss: I'm going to be out here for quite a while." The snake hissed.
"Do you have a defense protocol when you see a predator?" The larger male asked.
"I sssimply bite my attackersss in the leg ssso that they die." The smaller female smiled.
"Cool," Finn said, "do you want to hang out sometime?"
"Maybe later," Adder spoke, "I'm busssy ssslithering on the ground."
"I get that, bye!" Finn said as he walked off.
"Bye, Finn!" Adder slithered.
Note: This was a quick crossover between Adventure Time and Farthing Wood, so I hope that you enjoyed it. This is also the first time I used a character from Farthing Wood, so that's new. What did you guys think about this chapter? Let me know when you leave a review or give a constructive criticism stating what you like or what you don't like. Until next time guys, peace!
