Chapter 3
Frisk was falling uncontrollably. "What is this? Am I going to die?" Frisk muttered to himself. He was falling in a very dark place. He could not see anything because of the darkness. He was slowly losing his consciousness as time went by and then after a while, he completely passed out.
"Am I dead? Why do I feel so tired?" Frisk thought. And then, he opened his eyes. He was on a small area of flowers. He had fallen down there. "What is this place? Where am I?" Frisk thought.
Frisk looked around the place. There were some odd-looking buildings that he had never seen before. It took him a while to notice that all those buildings were ruins. All these buildings were old and had cracks and was mossy. And some were even destroyed. Frisk looked around to see where he was. And it was right then that he realized that he was on actually on a grave. He looked at the gravestone. The gravestone had "Here rests Chara, our precious son."
Frisk was puzzled about it. Frisk had a bad feeling about it. "Why is this grave here? This does not even look like a graveyard to me." Frisk thought. After that, Frisk got up. He first checked if he still had his phone. It appears that he had his phone with him. He then took out his phone and tried to see if he could call anyone. However, there was no service there. "Looks like this is no ordinary place. I guess I will just look around." Frisk thought. He went ahead for a bit and looked around the place. He saw that there was a real sky above. "How could there be a sky here? Didn't I fall down through the ground?" Frisk questioned himself.
Frisk saw a frog-like figure on a damaged part of a building. It looked a lot larger than a real frog. It gazed upon him. And then it hopped down towards him and hit the ground. "It just jumped off such a high place. How did it even get that high? Is it okay?" Frisk thought.
To Frisk's surprise, there was not a single scratch on it. It still stared at Frisk. "It really is strange. Why is it so big?" Frisk thought.
"Froggit, froggit, froggit.." The frog-like creature croaked. "Froggit, froggit, froggit."
Frisk was surprised. Because it had a strange croaking sound. "Wow I haven't heard frogs croak like that in my entire life." Frisk thought. It stared at him a little more and then jumped at him. Frisk was startled and barely manage to dodge the frog-like creature. "This oversized frog is unpredictable. I haven't seen a frog attack a human before. So, this is not an ordinary frog after all." Frisk thought.
"Froggit, froggit, froggit." The frog-like creature kept croaking. "Froggit, froggit, froggit."
It jumped at Frisk once again. But, this time, Frisk managed to punch it. It then got scared and ran away from Frisk. "That's all you got I guess." Frisk thought.
Frisk started walking again. He was checking various places of the ruins. It was bigger than Frisk had thought. There was nothing except for damaged buildings there. "This probably used to be a big city in its time." Frisk thought. Frisk then continued on walking.
And not too long after, he reached the same place that had the gravestone. It was the same place that he woke up on. "Looks like I went in a circle. I am so lost." Frisk thought.
Right when Frisk was about to go another direction, a flower popped up right infront of him. It really startled him. "What the hell is this?" he thought. The flower than turned around to face him. He was surprised to see that the flower had a face and eyes. "Am I dreaming?" Frisk thought. And then, the flower started coming closer to him. And then the flower smiled at him.
"Well, howdy." The flower spoke. "I bet you have a lot of questions. You don't even know what I am do you?"
Frisk was shocked beyond belief. He did not see anything like this in his entire life. "What even is this?" he thought. He was frozen. The flower noticed that Frisk was visibly surprised and smiled.
"The flower spoke!" Frisk yelled. "How is this even possible?"
"Whoa, no need to yell there, human." The flower said, giggling. "This is not your ordinary place. You must have fell down through somewhere."
"What are you?" Frisk asked, filled with curiosity. "You're not an ordinary creature, are you?"
"I am a monster." The flower answered. "You're in the monster realm."
"What?!" Frisk was even more surprised. "You're lying. This is probably a dream. Because there is no way that monsters can exist. No one has seen them for hundreds of years."
"Hey." The flower said. "Just because no one has seen a monster for hundreds of years doesn't mean that monsters don't exist. We do exist. Just in here."
"I can't believe it." Frisk said, filled with disbelief. "I am seeing a real monster for the first time."
"Yeah. Allow me to introduce myself." The flower said, with excitement. "My name is Flowey the nice flower. Nice to meet you."
"Oh I see." Frisk replied. "My name is Frisk. Nice to meet you too, Flowey. By the way, is there any way out of here?"
"Yes, there is." Flowey said. "I can show you the way out. Follow me."
Flowey started moving. So, Frisk followed him. Frisk saw many broken buildings as they passed by them. The place was so big. "How big is this place?" Frisk thought. They still kept walking for a long time. A few moments later, Frisk noticed the same buildings he had seen before. "Is it just me or did I see these buildings before?" Frisk thought.
"Wait." Frisk said. "Are you sure we are going the right way? I have been seeing the same buildings as I saw before. Aren't we lost?"
"No, it's just your imagination." Flowey said. "Let's continue going."
Frisk did not know if he should believe Flowey or not, but he had no choice but to follow through. A few minutes later, they arrived at the grave again. This time, Frisk was sure that they went in a circle.
"We went in a circle, didn't we?" Frisk asked. "What's going on?"
"Yes, we went in a circle." Flowey answered honestly. "Oh wait! I have an idea! How about I give you some of my wisdom pellets? All you have to do is run into them. That way, you will see a light that will guide you to the exit."
"Oh okay." Frisk said. "Where are these 'wisdom pellets?'"
"These wisdom pellets will show you the way to get out of here." Flowey explained.
"I will summon them here now." Flowey replied. "Remember, just run into them right after they appear. I will try to get them to hit you too, so don't worry."
"Okay." Frisk said in an excited voice. "I am ready for it now. Hit me with all your wisdom pellets."
Flowey then conjured something that looked like seeds from thin air. Frisk was very surprised to see such a thing happen right before his eyes. "This must be the wisdom pellets that Flowey keeps talking about. I must let them all hit me or I can't get any wisdom." Frisk thought. Frisk did not even move an inch, and Frisk closed his eyes. A few moments later, all the seed-like objects that were conjured by Flowey flew towards Frisk at once. And all of them hit Frisk, causing him to scream because of the pain. "It hurt! These are not wisdom pellets. These are more like bullets." Frisk thought. Flowey then started laughing at Frisk for being too simple-minded.
"You idiot!" Flowey talked while still laughing. "There is just only one rule in this world… And that is kill or be killed!"
Frisk was bleeding all over, but his wounds weren't life-threatening. Flowey summoned the seed-like bullets again. Frisk glared at Flowey. Flowey noticed this and laughed.
"Don't glare at me, you idiot." Flowey said, laughing hysterically. "I am just following this world's rules."
Frisk tried to fight back, but Flowey kept fending off all his attacks. "Looks like hand-to-hand combat is useless here. Is there any way for me to beat him?" Frisk thought. Flowey did not stop his onslaught of attacks. Attacks came in one after the other. Frisk dodged some, and got hit by the rest. There was nothing else that Frisk could do except dodging Flowey's attacks. "I should probably run away. There is no way that I can beat something like this." Frisk thought. He then waited for a brief interval between Flowey's attacks. And then, when that happened, he ran with all his might, only to be hit with multiple seed bullets at once.
Frisk regretted his decision to run away. Some of the bullets got his legs. So, he lay down on the ground, unable to get up. "I can't get up. What is this?" Frisk thought.
"Think you could run away from me, huh, you puny human?" Flowey said while laughing. "That was a bad call, my friend. Now, I will waste no time and finish you off! YOUR SOUL IS MINE!"
Flowey then conjured seed bullets all around Frisk. He was surrounded and had no way of dodging any of it. "Damn it. I am surrounded in every direction possible. Is this the end?" Frisk thought.
"Any last words, Frisk?" Flowey asked.
Frisk was scared to death. He did not know what to do. He was still struggling to get up and try to dodge those seed bullets that surrounded him. But he realized that it was impossible to dodge any of them in his current state. "Perhaps this really is the end for me. I am going to die." Frisk thought. Frisk then had flashbacks of his sweetest memories. And then, the seed bullets were launched towards him.
