I'm not abandoning memories, I just liked this idea.

Dear Ahsoka

I don't think you're ever going to read this, but I'm writing you a letter. A letter to apologize for failing you and also for the council, because they're too stubborn to ever apologize themselves.

First off, I don't blame you. What the council did was just horrible, and I'm never going to forgive them. They can't kick you out of your own life for something they should know you would never do. Obi-Wan says it was your choice, but it wasn't. Not really. You would never leave me if you had a choice.

It was the kriffing council's. They think they have the right to control and restrict our lives, but they don't. That belongs to us and us alone. We should be able to do what we want with our lives.

Thank you, by the way. For keeping my biggest secret a secret. I can't believe you knew all this time and never told anyone. I'm grateful for it, though. You're the best padawan I could ever have asked for.

The 501st just isn't the same without you. The boys are getting restless, particularly Captain Rex. He keeps on asking if I've heard from 'the Commander' lately. I can tell he misses you. Like I do.

Even if it's just for a little while, come home. If not for the council, for me.

From Anakin
