Note: Does anyone think I should make a sequel to this collection of stories? I feel like there are so many concepts I could fit into one. If you want to tell me, do it when you leave a review or PM me. Anyway, let's move on.
Chapter 93: Two Ducks, One Stone
Daffy Duck was walking through the forest, minding his own business. The mallard didn't have anything to do, so he was just trying to kill some time. However, before he could continue walking, the avian saw something cool. What he saw just so happened to be a large rock that was sitting by itself. Curious, Daffy looked around the stone, even climbing up it. Needless to say, he was impressed with the view from above.
"Wow, this rock is nice!" Daffy spoke.
He then lie down to relax, deciding to take a break from walking. That was until he heard someone shout.
"Hey! Get off of my rock!"
Looking down, Daffy saw who was yelling at him. This person was a black duck with an orange bill, like him. Unlike Daffy, however, he had blue eyes and was wearing a green jacket, an orange t-shirt, jeans and sandals. The two mallards glared at each other as they argued.
"I don't see your name on it, so buzz off!" Daffy shouted.
"I saw it before you did, so it's my rock!" The other duck yelled.
"This rock has probably been here before you were born, junior!" The first mallard spat.
"It's probably older than you as well, old man!" The second mallard sneered.
"Look kid, we can both agree that this stone is older than the both of us." The older waterfowl said. "But, seeing that I was born before you, it's my rock!"
"No creep steals the rock of Danger Duck!" The younger waterfowl stated. "Leave it for the youth culture!"
"Your first name is Danger? What were your parents like?"
"Actually, my real first name is Daniel and I grew up in an orphanage. But, it doesn't matter! Get off that stone!"
"Make me!"
All of a sudden, Duck climbed up the rock and tackled Daffy. The two mallards started to wrestle each other on the stone, occasionally throwing a punch. Every time one attacked the other, the waterfowl got closer to the rock's edge. However, claiming it was the only thing that was on their minds. Daffy and Duck continued to fight over the stone. That was until they threw each other off of it, falling into a lake.
Upon landing in the lake, Daffy and Duck began to be carried away by the water. Duck was the first one to pull himself up, coughing as he did so. However, Daffy was still underwater.
"Oh boy, here I go!" Duck said out of reluctance.
Diving underwater, Duck saw that Daffy was stuck on something. Swimming over to him, the younger mallard pulled the older one loose, allowing him to get free. After that, the two waterfowl swam to the surface, deciding to get on the ground. Once they were out of the water, Daffy and Duck caught their breath.
"Thanks for getting me out of there." Daffy spoke.
"You're welcome, even if I could've let you drown." Duck stated.
"Gave into your guilty conscience, eh?" The older mallard asked.
"Pretty much." The younger mallard answered.
Looking up at the stone, Daffy and Duck saw a woman walking through with her children. The two kids pointed at the rock, which caused their mother to take a picture of it with them posing next to it.
"That's a really great rock." Duck stated.
"Yeah," Daffy spoke, "and to think, we nearly drowned in a lake because we were fighting over that rock like idiots."
"I suppose that it's for everyone, not just us." The younger mallard said.
A little while later, Daffy and Duck walked out of the forest, heading to their respective homes. While doing so, they spoke to each other.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you and attacking you." Duck said.
"That's okay," Daffy responded, "and I'm sorry for pushing you to attack me."
"Do you want to check out that rock together sometime?" The younger mallard asked.
"Sure, I can even bring my girlfriend with me." The older mallard said.
"I'll bring mine as well, even though her ears can poke someone's eyes out." He stated.
The two ducks then shared a laugh.
"She's a nice girl, though, so don't worry." Duck said.
"I'll keep that in mind." Daffy stated. "I'll see you later!"
"You two!" The younger mallard said.
After that, Daffy and Duck walked back to their respective homes. The next day, the two planned for their next outing, even discussing it with their girlfriends. From that point on, the two mallards became friends, going so far as to hang out.
Note: I decided to do a simple crossover between Looney Tunes and Loonatics Unleashed for this chapter. I know that there are plenty of them, but I wanted to do something comedic. Honestly, I'm not sure why some crossovers have the Looney Tunes and the Loonatics trying to kill each other. I mean, aren't they relatives? I guess everyone just has their own ideas. Anyway, I hope that all of you have enjoyed this. Until next time guys, this is Newcomer24, signing off. Peace!
