Note: Here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the final chapter of 100 Oneshot Stories. The grand finale to a compilation that I felt has lasted long enough. As an extra bonus, this chapter is also accompanied by a song of choice. Again, I'm sorry if I didn't put out options, I just wanted to wrap this up. But, enough rambling, it's time for the final chapter!
Chapter 100: Bohemian Rhapsody
Up on stage at Wembley, the Animal Kingdom was getting ready to perform in front of an audience. Next to them was a choir of men and women, who would provide backing vocals. As the audience waited, they saw the group examining the stage equipment, with Fox McCloud gesturing at one of the stage hands. The worker was responsible for the lighting on the stage, which he handled with as much care as he could. Once everything was together, the Animal Kingdom and the choir began to sing.
Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality,
Open your eyes,
Look up to the skies and see.
Falco Lombardi sang solo, taking his mic of the stand.
I'm just a poor boy,
I need no sympathy.
The rest of the Animal Kingdom and the choir sang.
Because I'm easy come,
Easy go,
Little high,
Little low.
Falco sang solo again.
Anyway the wind blows,
Doesn't really matter to me,
To me.
The pianist played a brief solo, allowing Falco to sing again.
Mama, just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head,
Pulled the trigger,
Now he's dead.
Mama, life had just begun,
Now I've gone and thrown it all away.
Mama, ooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on,
Because nothing really matters.
Once Falco finished, the pianist played another solo, with the drummer accompanying her. After that, Falco sang again.
Too late, my time has come,
Send a shiver down my spine,
Body's aching all the time.
Goodbye everybody, I've got to go,
Got to leave you all behind and face the truth.
Falco found himself joined by Fox and Tech E. Coyote on vocals.
Mama, ooh.
The alto singers in the choir provided the following vocals.
Anyway the wind blows.
Falco, Fox and Tech continued singing.
I don't want to die,
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all!
The band was then joined by the guitarist, who played a solo as the Animal Kingdom waited to sing their next lines. The audience sat in anticipation, waiting for the group to continue singing. After the guitarist finished his solo, the pianist continued to play. As she did that, Falco took the positionof lead vocals again.
I see a little silhouette of a man.
The rest of the Animal Kingdom and the choir joined in with the vocals.
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the fandango?
Thunderbolts and lightning,
Very, very frightening me.
Danger Duck then sang the following.
Galileo!
Falco responded.
Galileo.
Duck sang again.
Galileo!
Falco sang in response, being joined by Duck and the sopranos in the choir.
Galileo.
Galileo, figaro!
The rest of the group, joined by the choir, sang the next line.
Magnifico!
Falco sang the following line.
I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me.
The other members of the Animal Kingdom, joined by the choir responded.
He's just a poor boy from a poor family,
Spare him his life from his monstrosity.
The pianist played a quick hook, allowing Falco to sing the following lines.
Easy come, easy go,
Will you let me go?
The tenor and bass singers in the choir responded.
Bismillah, no,
We will not let you go!
Falco's fellow members and the soprano and alto singers in the choir responded.
Let him go!
The tenors and the basses sung again.
Bismillah, no,
We will not let you go!
The Animal Kingdom (sans Falco) and the sopranos and altos sang in response.
Let him go!
The choir and the Animal Kingdom continued to sing in response to each other, with Falco slowly joining in.
Bismillah, we will not let you go!
Let me go!
Will not let you go!
Let me go!
Will not let you go!
Let me go!
Will not let you go!
Let me go!
No, no, no, no, no, no, no!
Falco sang the following solo line.
Oh, mama mia, mama mia,
He was then joined by his fellow singers and the choir as the music intensified.
Mama mia, let me go,
Beezlebub has a Devil put aside for me,
For me,
For me!
The band then played a solo, with the guitarist, bassist, and drummer giving it their all. Shortly after, Falco joined in with his vocals.
So, you think that you stop me and spit in my eye?
So, you think you can love me and leave me to die?
Oh, baby,
Can't do this to me, baby,
Just got to get out,
Just got to get right out of here.
The band continued playing their solo. After the guitarist finished up his hook, the instrumental calmed down, shrinking down to only the drums, guitar, and piano. As it happened, the choir sang the following lines.
Oh, yeah,
Oh, yeah!
The guitarist played a short refrain, causing the instruments to become isolated to only the piano in drums. In response, Falco sang the final stanza of the song.
Nothing really matters,
Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters,
Nothing really matters,
To me.
The band continued to play as the lights dimmed on the stage. Shrouded in darkness, the Animal Kingdom sang one final line.
Anyway the wind blows.
The drummer banged a gong, ending the song. After that, there was a round of applause from the audience. The lights on the stage came back on, allowing the Animal Kingdom to take a bow. Fox then took the microphone and spoke to the audience.
"Thank you for coming to Wembley, and I hope that we passed the audition!"
Note: And that's it, everyone! That's the end of this compilation that I have been working on since I joined ! I decided to end it on a climactic note, albeit with a Queen classic. I even set it at Wembley, where Queen played at Live Aid in 1985. I hope that all of you have enjoyed this, and that you are willing to wait for my later stuff. Until next time guys, this is Newcomer24, signing off. Peace! Also, have a Merry Christmas!
