Background:
Growing up in Sahara Square, Fenrir always had a good will from his early school years up until the end of college. Trusting both his nose and instincts, he helped to protect those being picked on by larger mammals. This put a huge target on his back yet, he always avoided physical harassment thanks to his keen senses and trustful guts.
Eventually his natural skills had him suggested to the ZPD. Once chosen for induction, he pushed through the training course and before long was enlisted into the force. Here his primal talents were put to the test, which they passed almost 100% of the time. Some of the criminals he even caught vowed to never do crime again due to their sear of his his sensitive smell putting them away for longer.
After 3 years of service he was rapidly assigned to the SOG and quickly became one of Captain Everest's favorite subordinates. In most missions he's even trusted to go first to sniff out any ambushes and thwart them. This act of bravery he repeated helped save multiple of his teammates, making him a must-have friend for all of them.
Personality:
Fenrir is a comedian at heart due to how many friends he made saving mammals during his school years. Sometimes in the mornings when Fenrir smells his Captain had a "fun" night, he makes dirty remarks on how she "got it on". The Captain always has a comeback to this, remaking how he can't get any more "action" due to being single for a long time after his last break up.
Once a serious job is handed to him he always bottles up these jokes for later. Instead he becomes focus and strict, knowing that if he slips up it'll be mostly his fault. Last time he joked around it didn't go so well and he vowed to never have another situation like that again...
With this perfect harmony of emotions on the job any office he passes by can turn from gloomy to happy in a matter of minutes. Fenrir is like the local joke book for everyone there and both them and him love it. Chief Bogo of course thinks they need to be more serious, but the Captain allows it to happen under her watch. If it wasn't for the Sergeant's introduction the SOG wouldn't have been as motivated as it is today.
