Harry Potter Meets Narnia
Harry, Hermione and Ron were all packed up and ready to go. Their suitcases were twice as heavy as themselves, and they lugged it around with sincere pride.
They were leaving Hogwarts permanently for the first time. They had no problem with this. Three of them were all ready to leave the magical realm and finally enter and live in the special Muggle world.
"So, are you nervous?" Hermione asked Harry as they walked out to the school fields. Harry shook his head. "Nope, I'm actually excited. Well, yes, in a way, I'm sad that I'm leaving this school, but I'm also thrilled to finally be living in the Muggle world.. and not with the Dursleys." Hermione understood. She double-checked if they brought all their things, especially their wands.
Ron brought out his wand from his velvet coat pocket, summoned a quick spell, and suddenly a brand-new convertible appeared in front of them as thick smoke and sparks flew around. "What is that?" Hermione asked him in shock. "Oh, my father gave it to me as a birthday gift. Doesn't it look great?"
Harry rolled his eyes. "Just get in the car." He dropped his suitcase hastily in the trunk and got in the front passenger seat. Ron inhaled a big breath and got in the driver's seat as Hermione sat in the back. In a few minutes, a thick wind surrounded them as the car levitated and brought them up in the sky. In seconds, they disappeared with memories they'd never leave behind.
"We're here! Get up!" "Get up! We're here!" Hermione slowly awoke as she heard these loud and annoying words. She opened her eyes to see the lovely sight of the break of dawn, a nice combination of hazy orange and light pink.
Harry also woke up a few seconds later. He felt a strong vibration and a loud thud afterwards, which jostled him awake even more. They had landed on a big, open field.
"Wake up, Hermione and Harry," Ron's irritated but lively voice nagged them. "We have arrived in the Muggle world. Grab your suitcases and we have to find a place to stay in."
Hermione stretched her arms out as she yawned. "Wow, this isn't like Ron," she commented, grinning. "He's acting responsible for once!"
Harry chuckled as he got out of the car. Chills of cold air were sent down his skin and goose bumps formed. His grey sweatshirt and black khakis didn't bring him much protection from the cold.
"Need this?" Hermione handed him one of her brown coats. "Why don't we sit down by that tree and have some breakfast? Ron seems busy unpacking."
Harry accepted the coat and smiled. After they sat down, Hermione brought out two egg salad sandwiches. "I'm already missing Hogwarts," Harry said, giving a big sigh. "I can't believe we have to leave that school that has made my life special. All our friends… professors… all of those near death misses and triumphs… And to think we're just going to live in the Muggle world for our whole life."
Hermione took a bite out of her sandwich. "Harry, please. Take this situation in an optimistic view. Since Hogwarts is closing due to the insane quarrels of the wizards, the students are at risk!"
"You two, come here!" Ron shouted at them bossily. The two stood up and shook their heads as they smiled. In their minds, they were both hoping for the best in this situation, but as long as they were together, everything would be alright.
"Stop eating, Ron! We have to find a place to live in." Hermione shot a nasty look at Ron as she saw him wolfing down a croissant he bought with something people called "money".
The trio were in the Public Library of London, trying to find any flyer or advertisement posted on the bulletin board. Hermione was struggling, Harry was gu
