Luz sat down in the potion class room, nervous for her first class. Another girl sat down next to her.
"So, you're the new kid I keep hearing about."
Luz looked and saw a girl with pink skin, dark pink hair, and a third eye.
"Y-y-yeah, todays my first day." Luz said.
"Well, you could've picked a worse time, at least it's the first day and not the middle of the year." She said, "I'm Boscha, what's your name?"
"Wait, Boscha? As in Boscha Triplet?" Luz asked, "My sister is dating a girl named Becky Triplet, any relation?"
"That's my older sister, and going on what I've been told by Becky, I'm guessing you're Lucia's little sister." Boscha said, "Still waiting on your name."
"Oh, sorry, I'm Luz."
"Well, Luz, hope you're excited for the most boring part of Potions class... the introduction." Boscha said.
"Introduction?" Luz asked.
"The first day, they want us to go over the basics." Boscha said, "Every... fucking... year. It's an hour of boredom and nothing can change that."
The lights went off and a cloud of smoke filled the area in front of the teacher's desk. The smoke disappeared and a pale woman, with straight, dark orange hair, stood in front of the desk. She wore a pale green shirt with poofy sleeves and a gold button on the chest, a brown vest, a maroon ankle-length skirt, purplish-gray leggings, and brown high-heeled boots. The woman adjusted her glasses and opened her eyes, revealing two mint green eyes.
"Hello, class, I am Lilith Clawthorne, you're new Potions teacher. I also am the history teacher, but we can go into that during history." Lilith said, before walking behind the desk and sitting down, "Now, I'm sure you're wondering what happened to your old teacher, well, they had a bit of an... accident. They shall be missed."
The students went pale at that statement.
"Yes, yes, I know... but sometimes after a potion accident you just can't work anymore and need to retire." Lilith continued.
The students let out a breath they were holding.
"Now, I will go over the introduction." Lilith said, smiling when she heard the kids groan, "But... I will be doing it in a different, more exciting way."
Lilith grabbed to potions and combined them, before shaking it in one bottle.
"Now, firstly, let's go over the rules." Lilith said, throwing the bottle out the window, resulting in an explosion, "Rule one, never combine two unknown potions together. Now for that demonstration, I knew what the potions were and the effect they would have, but had you not known what they were, you wouldn't know that an explosion would happen. Now, onto the second rule, no drinking unmarked potions."
Luz stared wide eyed at the teacher, while Boscha leaned over and whispered into her ear.
"I stand corrected. This is awesome."
Luz could only nod. Elsewhere, a group of hooded figures looked at a map.
"You're positive that you have found their hiding place?" One asked.
"Absolutely. Thanks to our newest member, we've been able to pin point their location." Another said, "We just need to find a way past the barrier and then... well... we all know what to do after that."
Another one, a female, threw a knife at the map, hitting right where the school is.
"Soon we'll get rid of those miserable creatures." She said.
