The next morning Vince and Linda were having breakfast when Krissy come walking down the back staircase

"Good morning," Vince and Linda said together

"Good morning," Kristina said, walking over, hug her daddy from behind, and kiss him on the cheek.

Vince smile and says, "Hi, princess."

"Hi daddy," she said, lets him go and went to get some coffee

She came back to the table, sat down, and makes herself a plate of breakfast.

"How did you sleep, pebble?" her mom asked.

"I got a good night's sleep," she replied before taking a bite of her toast.

"Mom told me what been going on at Law School?" he asked

"It's horrible, daddy. Ever since going back to school after Thanksgiving, there have been constant wild parties I can't study or sleep, and guys banging on my door," she replied.

"Well, after the holidays, we will talk about what we can do for you when you go back, okay."

"Okay, daddy"

"Krissy, I forgot to ask you how Milo is handling these wild parties."

She sighs and says, "I would not know seeing he and I are no longer dating."

Vince thought to himself, thank god I hate that little prick.

"What happened, pebble?"

"He likes other boys. You can't work for your family after graduating, and I am like you have no say in where I work, and he did not like hearing that."

"His lost princess, not your"

Krissy smile at him and says, "You are right, daddy. Besides, there were plenty of men out there who probably are not like him."

"Yes, princess, there are plenty of men who are like that. I am proof of that."

Krissy chuckle and says, "Yes, you are daddy. Mom got very lucky."

Linda and Vince smile.

Linda says, "Yes, I did pebble. I got fortunate when I met your dad."

"So, what are you doing today, princess?" He asked

'Well, I need to go the bank and deposit my check that I got yesterday, and then I have some Christmas to wrap."

"And how is your job pebble?"

"It's good mom, I learned a lot, but my professor Mr. Clark thinks I should be working at the family business, seeing that I am studying corporation law."

"I will look into seeing about a job for you at the headquarters."

Krissy smile and says, "Thank you, daddy."

"You're a welcome princess. But, I need to get-go," he said, standing up and kisses Krissy on the forehead, then walk over to Linda and kiss her next.

"Bye, my ladies."

"Bye, daddy"

"Bye, love"

He walks out of the kitchen, and Krissy looks at her mom and says, "Mom, you are not going into the office."

"No pebble, I have something to do around the house and before Christmas Eve."

"Okay, would you like to take a drive with me to the bank then?"

"Sure, pebble"

Krissy helps her mom cleans up the dirty dishes and then went to get her paycheck and decide how much went into her accounts. Linda came back downstairs to see her daughter by her purse and looking through it.

"You ready, pebble?" her mom asked, and she looks up

"Yes, mom," she replied, grabbing her coat and put it on.

Linda grabs her coat and puts it on; then they walk out of the house, and Linda closes the door and locks it too. They walk toward Krissy's car. She presses a button turned off the alarm and then presses another button to unlock the doors. They opened the doors, got in the car, pulled the doors closed, and then buckled their seatbelt. Krissy slid the key into the ignition and turned it to start the car. She let the car warmed up before drove down the circular driveway to where the gates opened; she drove out and sped off toward the bank.

"Who coming to Christmas at the house, mom?" She asked, keeping her eyes on the road

"Grandma, grandpa, Stephanie, John, and Grandma Vicky"

"No auntie Lilibet and uncle this year?"

"No, pebble, they are staying in Florida this year. Shane, Marissa, and your little nephew Declan will be at her parent's; Valentin and Kacie are going to her parents too. They say they might drop by to see us."

"I hope so. I have presents for them."

Linda smile and says, "Are those the gifts you have to wrap?"

"Yes. I wrapped the other gifts weeks ago and mailed Auntie, uncle, and my cousin's gifts a week ago too."

"I know I received gifts from them weeks ago."

"
