Luz sat in her dad's office at the school. He doesn't use it very often, but when he does work at the school, he tends to use this place. Luz hasn't stopped wondering about Tracey. The young demon disappeared shortly after shifting into her human form.
'She used Plant magic... that's how I can get the different creatures together.' Luz thought.
Luz was knocked out of her thoughts when the door opened.
"Well, they didn't say much." Belos said, "But we do know that this school is a target."
"Dad... why are the Tracks separated?"
Belos was confused by the question.
"What do you mean?" Belos asked.
"Why aren't vampires allowed to take Illusion classes? Why aren't Demons allowed to take Plant Classes?"
"It's simple, those creatures have their own special magic, it's what makes them different from other species." Belos said, "Not to mention that they've never shown to have witch magic."
"They do though." Luz said, "I was saved by a demon with the ability to use plant magic."
Belos looked at Luz, not entirely sure if she was telling the truth.
"Luz, I've searched for evidence of that, but I haven't found anything that indicates they can use witch magic." Belos said.
"I know what I saw, dad." Luz said, "I know what I saw."
Belos hasn't seen Luz so adamant about something like this. He let out a sigh.
"Okay, if you can prove that they are capable of using witch magic, I will CONSIDER changing the rule." Belos said, "Now, I think you've had a long day, I think we both should head home."
Luz nodded and stood up, unaware of someone following them at a distance. Elsewhere, a hooded figure walked up to another hooded figure.
"The spies have been captured." The person said, "We have lost contact."
"Disappointing." The other person said, "We can't lead an attack on the school and wipe them out without getting someone passed the barrier."
"There may be another way." The hooded person said, "Our informant found the house of Belos. That barrier is open for a minute each morning to allow his hybrid spawns to leave, if we can get in there, we can get the one thing he cares about."
The other hooded figure smiled, this was perfect.
"Years in the making, and soon, our mission will come to fruition." The other hooded figure said.
Later, at home, Luz was in her room, reading on her bed, minding her own business when she heard something fall over. She looked over and saw a book on the ground.
"Huh, I guess I didn't put it away correctly." Luz said.
She got up and put it back, when another book was quickly pulled out, followed by another one. Luz put herself against the wall to avoid the books, when the lights in her room began to flicker.
'Oh god, what's going on?' Luz thought.
Suddenly everything stopped and it was quiet... until her blankets started to float in the air. Luz paled, thinking she was about to die. The sheets were quickly pulled off and a purple spirit was floating.
"Hi, Luz!" The spirit said.
"E-E-Emelina?"
