"Are you sure that you're fine with this?" Daphne asked apprehensively as she looked at her husband who was carrying their 2 years and 2-month-old twins.

"Daphne, for the 5th time this morning, yes it will be fine" Harry answered with a smile. It had been an ongoing concern to his wife if he would be fine looking after the twins considering he ordered the elves to have a 'day-off' today and that Andromeda and Teddy were at the orphanage.

"You can always call Tori and ask her to help," Daphne said adjusting her robes while still looking at her husband. If it wasn't for the emergency in the law firm, Daphne would have been fine spending the day with her family.

"It's fine really" Harry placated his wife, "This can be a day with dad, isn't that right babies?" Harry said as he made them bounce. The twins nodded enthusiastically.

"E 'ine, um!" James said with a fervent nod. Isabelle looked at her brother then back to their mom and gave another nod.

"ight!" Izzie backed up making Harry's smile grow wider.

"See? We're going to be fine Daph. Now off you go before you get late" Harry said as he leaned and gave a peck on her lips. Daphne also went and gave cheek kisses to her little ones.

"A kiss for mum?" Daphne said and received a kiss from both babies.

"Be safe, contact me if anything happens, ok?" Harry said to Daphne. She nodded and gave him another kiss.

"You too, if there are any problems you will contact me immediately, understood?" Daphne reminded.

"Crystal" Harry responded.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

With one final kiss, Daphne walked to the fireplace, grabbed some floo powder from the mantle, and threw it at the fireplace and saying Verdant Law Office – Diagon, before stepping in. She disappeared in the roaring green flames.

Harry looked around the room and back at his kids. He smiled at them and placed them down when James started fussing for 'down'.

"So, what should we do for the day?"

"uffin' dada pwease," Izzie said as she pointed at the muffin innocently resting on top of the counter. The trio went to the kitchen not long after Daphne went out. Jay immediately followed his twin and pointed at the muffin with a huge smile.

Harry shook his head and looked at his watch, it was still a good hour from lunch. It wouldn't be that bad to give them some sweets… probably.

"pweaseee" Jay pleaded, prolonging the last part with his eyes widening. Both his and Izzie's eyes went on and had the moist quality that made their eyes twinkle. Harry was a goner. Wrapped around his kids' fingers, the gullible father went and grabbed the two muffins and gave it to them.

"Tenchu dada!" the two said as they happily munched on the sweets.

"Both of you are welcome," Harry said as he sat them down in their chairs and wiped some crumbs off their face. He then summoned their water bottles to have their water nearby.

The manor was big, and kind of lonely when it was just the three of them, but Harry was fine with it. He grabbed his own muffin and slowly ate it. The day was almost perfect, if only Daphne was here then it would have been.

"Next time" Harry whispered as wiped Izzie's face and handed her the bottle after finishing her snack. Jay was close by and as soon as Izzie put down her water, Harry went on and cleaned his son.

After making sure they were cleaned, Harry picked them up and placed them down. The two immediately walked away towards the living room. Babies, Harry and Daphne were always amused how their little legs could manage walking and running around the manor.

They could be flying with how much they walk and run around now… Speaking of which, Harry thought, would Daphne allow him to buy the twins some toy broom once they reach 3 years old? The two were fine with flying with him and Daphne at times, ecstatic even!

Harry was lost in thought with the idea of flying with the twins soon that he never noticed the two already walked away from him and went off Merlin knows where.

The manor went silent, and it snapped Harry out of his thoughts. Silence with kids in a manor was always a tell-tale sign that said kids were doing something that was not good. Charlus Potter could testify to that, James Potter Elder could testify to that, and Harry Potter will now testify to that.

If there was one thing that Potter man had, it was a wicked sense of luck and instinct, and right now Harry Potter was relying on those to thwart whatever his kids were planning. He ran to the left corner where he heard some scuffling.

Maybe it was divine timing, maybe it was the universe once again trying to remind Harry, that it would always screw him up, or maybe it was just a combination of two. Harry saw the priced vase that Daphne really adored. It was a souvenir from their first vacation as a couple, Daphne absolutely adored its marble and emerald coloring with gold freckles. Now it was tipping over Jay as he tried to reach a marble ball that was placed beside the vase.

After years of being a seeker and a war survivor, Harry's instinct heightened, he ran and grabbed his son as he accidentally grabbed the vase. Harry could only close his eyes waiting for the vase to kiss the ground.

Daphne was going to be pissed.

There was no sound or whatever, so Harry opened his eyes and was relieved that it didn't tip over. Then Harry remembered that the house was fully filled with sticking charms from that once incident where Izzie almost got dropped by a cabinet. He then turned his attention to Jay looking for any indication of hurt.

"James, never go running without dada again, ok?" Harry said, voice thick with concern. Jay looked at his dad and slowly nodded his head. His 2-year-old brain couldn't really understand the words coming out of his dada's mouth, but the message was clear— No leaving dada. So, with that translated Jay nodded his head and gave his dada a hug.

Harry sighed once he was sure that James was fine, then he went off in search of the other twin. Merlin, and it still hasn't been an hour since Daphne left. May the gods above help Harry survive this day till Daphne comes home.

In the corner of his eye, Harry saw Izzie trying to climb a chair that was starting to wobble. One wrong move and the toddler would fall on the hard unforgiving fall. Harry quickened his pace and grabbed his wand and cast cushioning charm at the floor just in case.

Low and behold, the parental instincts do work for reasons, of course.

Izzie tumbled down and fell like a heap of hay on the floor. Thank Merlin for cushioning charms or that would have been a painful thud, a crying child, a panicking father, and a trip to St. Mungos.

Izzie didn't seem to mind and stood up and smiled as she seem to slightly bounced. When there wasn't the bounce, a frown smeared her face.

"Isabelle" Harry called. Izzie immediately looked up and walked toward him. Harry only used her full name on rare occasions so for him to be calling her that must have meant something serious.

"Don't run off like that again, ok?" Harry said as he scooped her off the floor. Isabelle looked at her dad in the eye. Blue and Green clashing. Both twins got their mother's eye, electrifying cobalt blue that would shine on occasion. Izzie not only inherited her mother's eye but also the intensity behind it. Studying you why she should follow such orders, looking for a reason why must she be limited in her exploring.

Still, Izzie nodded at her father's words and hugged him. Her dad never really did anything bad, so her dad asking her not to run off must have a good reason behind it.

Harry then adjusted his hold of the two and began his trek towards their playroom. Less space and fewer chances of getting themselves hurt.

As Harry reached the room, he used some wandless and wordless magic to open the door. When they entered, Harry gently put down the twins as they reached for their toys. He then added his own cushioning charms on the floor and sticking charms to anything that was not their toys. The room was already filled with runes to do those things, but it never hurt to be ready.

"Dada, play!" James called as he played with some playing blocks that Andy got for him. While Izzie got her animal toys and went to where Jay was making some makeshift shelter for Izzie's animals.

Harry smiled as he sat with them. Both Izzie and Jay handed him an animal and a block. A stag plushie and black brick. Harry just chuckled at the coincidence and poking of the universe.

"We should visit Grandpa James and Siri, soon," Harry said as he looked at the twins playing. The two didn't reply and just played. Harry played assistant to Jay, handing him blocks he was eyeing, and a holder for Izzie as she gave him more animals to hold.

It was going well until the disagreement ensued. James was building some nice structures when Izzie pulled a block from his hand.

"No!" Jay said as he pulled the block again.

"Mine!" Izzie responded and tried to pry the block from Jay.

"Hey, hey! No fighting" Harry tried to diffuse the two but the twins were already standing up and trying to body each other. Merlin, help. Izzie let go and huffed before sitting back down. Jay gripped the block as if his life depended on it.

He was about to sit down when a stuffed animal hit his head. Jay was about to tackle his sister when he was snatched from the ground by Harry,

"Izzie bad!" Jay complained to his father. Izzie just gave him a glare that was cute instead of intimidating. Harry sighed and placed down Jay. Both twins gave each other a glare.

How did Mr. and Mrs. Weasley survive this with Fred and George?

"Izzie, why did you throw a stuffed animal at Jay?" Harry softly asked as he slowly pulled the block from Jay and grabbed the toy in Izzie's grip. Both gripped their respective toy before letting go of it.

"Change" Izzie whispered.

"Change what?" Harry asked looking at his daughter. Izzie pointed at the block, now on Harry's hand, and then the toy she just threw.

"Change toys," Izzie said, now nodding her head to prove her point.

So, she wanted to exchange toys with Jay. Harry let out a breath. He glanced at Jay who was biting his lip and fidgeting his hands.

"Are you hurt Jay?" Harry asked as he turned his attention to his son. Jay refused to meet their eyes and Harry waited patiently. After a couple of moments, Jay looked up and nodded his head.

"Where are you hurt, bud?" Harry said as he went closer to him. Jay looked at Izzie and then back to Harry before responding.

"Here," he said pointing at his heart. Harry turned back his attention to his daughter and saw her now pouting.

"What do we do when we hurt people, Luv?" Harry asked as he guided Izzie to walk near Jay.

"ay' orry" she whispered. Then Izzie walked and gave Jay a hug and kissed his cheek.

"orry' Jay," Izzie said and pulled away from the hug. Jay just nodded back at Izzie. Then he went to Harry and picked up the block then handed it to Izzie.

"ere' Izzie," Jay said, Izzie accepted it and nodded with thanks.

"Isabelle, next time we don't throw toys at James if you want something, ok? We talk, ok? Is that clear my little miss?" Harry said. His and Daphne's kids were good, you just have to talk and teach them things they still don't know.

"Yes, dada" Izzie responded and went in for a hug to which Harry returned.

"You too, James. Ok, bud?" Harry said to James. He nodded and went in for a hug too. Harry sighed and smiled as he placed a kiss on their heads.

"Now, anyone fancy some lunch?" Harry asked as he noticed it was already lunchtime. The two nodded and said "es' dada" before letting go of the hug.

"Let's go," Harry said. Izzie grabbed his leg and held her arms up. Harry scooped her from the ground and wandlessly put back their toys and opened the door. Jay walked out but waited for his dad to close the door before walking first. Harry then carried Jay as they went walked down the stairs before putting him down again as they landed.

As the trio almost reached the kitchen, Harry's pocket started to get warm. Harry put Izzie down and called for Jay to stay put. As he fished out his mirror, it showed him his wife's agitated face.

"Hey, what's the problem?" Harry answered and looked for any sign of injury from Harry's face.

"Are you with the kids?" Daphne asked and Harry instantly nodded. He would've let the twins talk with their mother if it weren't for the agitation on Daphne's face.

"Mama?" Jay asked as he ran and tip-toed trying to reach the mirror.

"Good. Harry, I need you to come over here and leave the kids at Tori's and Draco's place. I'll fill you in on what's happening as soon as come over here" Daphne explained, and Harry nodded. Years of being together with Daphne have made him know to listen now and ask questions later.

"Now, let me see my kids if they're alright" Daphne joked and Harry scoffed but the nagging feeling in his gut didn't seem to go as he turned the mirror to the kids who were now eagerly talking to their mom.

"I'm glad both of you are having fun with dada. Now, why don't you hand over the mirror to dada and I'll see you both later. Ok? I love you both" Harry heard Daphne say and Harry took the mirror and looked at Daphne.

"I'm at the office, just floo in or apparate directly inside my office," Daphne said.

"I'll be there as soon as I bring the kids to the Malfoy's. Take care and I love you" Harry said.

"I love you too" Daphne replied before the connection went off.

"Come on kids, we're visiting your Aunt Tori and Uncle Draco," Harry said as he summoned the ready-to-go bags of the kids. As they reached him, he shrunk the bags and place them in his pockets.

"Auntie Towi Uncka Dwaco!" the two cheered. Harry tried to smile as he carried the two in his arms after he secured some floo powder.

Harry would have been receptive to leaving the kids at the Malfoy Manor, thankfully Draco and Tori decided not to live in the manor and instead took up one of the Malfoy properties from the Black side of the family.

"The Bode" Harry said as he threw the floo powder in the fireplace. He secured his hold to the kids, with them gripping his neck before stepping inside the fire.

Hi! Double update! Thank you for reading this! I hope you like it, this has been rewritten a couple of times to the point of frustration. When English is not your second language, its very hard to express some things. Although I do hope I've delivered them enough to be understood. Again, thank you so much for reading and I hope you like it!
