"Then we went zoom! We were flying so fast, that was so amazing Dada Harry!" Teddy gushed as godfather and godson walked along the clearing of a park, his hair ever-changing from brown, blue, blonde, black, and bubblegum pink. Harry couldn't help but smile at his godson's endearment to him.

"See? I told you I can still fly" Harry walked beside Teddy and made sure he doesn't faceplant in the ground.

"Yeah… The way the wind hit my face, it was amazing and uncomfortable at the same time" Teddy said tripping, Harry's hands instantly on the move, but Teddy steadied himself.

"You'll get used to it over time, Teddy," Harry said as he ruffled his godson's hair, which changed colors and texture.

Teddy faced him and smiled. Harry smiled back and placed his hand over his godson's shoulder. For a 6-year-old, Teddy was quite tall for his age. Harry wouldn't be surprised come 10-12 years down the line his godson would be taller than him.

"I wish Jay and Izzie were here though, together with Mama Daphne and Grandma Andy," Teddy said as the duo continued walking to a tree for a shade.

Mom and Dad were Tonks and Remus. Mama and Dada were Daphne and Harry. It was important for the adults that Teddy knew the truth about his parents.

"Well, for starters Jay and Izzie are not feeling well so they need their mom" Harry explained as he transfigured some rocks into chairs so he and Teddy can sit down before he continued, "And I promise you I'd take you flying today and-"

"And you don't break your promise" Teddy finished and sipped on the water bottle that Daphne packed for him. Harry smiled and nodded as he got his own bottle and drank from it. The two then shared a sandwich that Annie made. For a while, the two shared silence as the winds bought on a cool breeze.

Harry checked his watch and saw it was time to head back. He stood up and stretched. Teddy saw him and copied his movements. Harry chuckled and stood straight.

"Time to go?" Teddy asked.

"Yep, or else grandma Andy and your mama Daphne will have my hide" Harry joked as he shrunk the pack they have. Teddy giggled and grasped offered hand.

"Before that, we have to stop by Muggle London and bring home something for them, ok?" Harry asked. Teddy nodded.

"Now, try to not change your appearance too much. Can you do it, Teddy?" Harry asked again. His godson's metamorph abilities were starting to stabilize over the years but there were still times when they went off their own, especially when Teddy was excited or scared.

"Yes! I'll make sure to focus so it won't change" Teddy answered. Harry smiled and gripped his tiny hands on his own.

"We're going to apparate over there, Teddy. Do you want to just hold hands, or do you want me to carry you?" Harry asked. Teddy looked thoughtful for a moment before shaking his head.

"Just hold, please" Teddy answered.

"Ok, hold on tight," Harry said and apparated out of the fields they were in. The feeling of being squeezed through a tiny tube engulfed Harry. After a moment, they landed in a back alley that was filled with Muggle repelling charms. Harry kneeled down and looked at Teddy that looked disoriented, his hair rapidly changing colors so did his eyes— blue, green, pink, violet, black, brown, and kaleidoscope.

"You ok, Teddy?" Harry asked. Teddy shook his head and looked at Harry before nodding, his hair taking the same color and texture as Harry but having blue eyes like Daphne.

"Yeah, just a little bit dizzies da" Teddy answered. Harry nodded and held Teddy's hand as they exit the alley and walked towards a line of stores.

"What do you think should we buy for them?" Harry asked as he looked around the various shops surrounding them. Some bakeshops sold cakes and pastries, some ice cream, pizza parlors, and others.

"Pizza?" Teddy asked as he looked at a pizza shop that was near them. Pizza wasn't bad, Daphne loved it, and Andy liked it, on occasion. For the twins, Harry would get some fruits after buying the pizza.

"Ok, we are buying pizza," Harry said as Teddy entered the premise and was greeted by the storekeeper.

After ordering 2 boxes of pizza, the two went and walked towards the market. Harry discreetly shrunk the pizza boxes and placed them in his moleskin pouch secured with a stasis charm.

"There's some fruits" Teddy pointed out a stall. The two of them walked there and bought a variety of fruits for the twins after making sure they were fresh— with a help of a wandless detection charm, it was pretty easy to ensure it was fresh. After paying the two walked a few stalls more till they reached a florist.

"Flowers?" Teddy asked as he gripped Harry's hands. They were surrounded by baskets of flowers with varying colors and types. Harry knew Teddy was controlling himself by copying each flower's color.

"Hello, what can I do for you today?" the florist asked as she greeted them.

"Looking for some flowers for my wife" Harry answered.

"How romantic!" The lady gushed; Harry just smiled as Teddy watched the exchange.

"Is he your son?" the lady asked which surprised Teddy and prompted him to hide behind Harry's leg.

"Yes, godson actually" Harry replied, "Say hi, Teddy," Harry said as he moved aside to show Teddy.

"Hi" Teddy waved at the lady.

"He's so cute, you do look alike I thought he was your son" The lady commented. By this time, Teddy's ear was not red at the tips.

"Well, he is family so the resemblance" Harry answered and looked around for some flowers.

"How nice! Just tell me if you need any help, I'll be there" the lady said as she went inside, probably finishing some arrangements.

"She reminds me of, Mrs. Weasley" Teddy commented. Harry chuckled as they slowly walked towards one end.

"Yeah, me too" he commented and pick one and smelled it, "Teddy, can you grab a small basket there and hold it for me," Harry asked.

Teddy went on and picked a small basket and held it for Harry. His godfather then placed a flower and two there.

"Why do you buy Mama Daphne flowers when there's a lot at the manor?" Teddy asked as they moved to a basket where the flowers were blue in color and tiny.

"What's that flower?" Teddy asked again.

Harry picked up a group of them and placed them in the basket before answering Teddy.

"Well, I buy your Mama Daphne flowers because I want to, and I want to tell her that I love her, and she is special to me by buying her flowers that aren't from the manor" Harry answered the first question and was now facing Teddy and picking up the flower he just picked.

"This flower is called 'Forget-me-not", this flower means true love and respect" Harry explained.

"Flowers have meaning?" Teddy asked to which Harry nodded with a smile.

"Wow," he said and looked at Harry, "so when you give this to Mama Daphne, you want her to know she's your true love and you respect her?" Teddy asked.

"Yes, very good Teddy," Harry said as he placed the flower back and ruffled his hair. Teddy went deep in thought before looking back at Harry.

"Can I also give Mama Daphne, Grandma Andy, and Jay and Izzie?" Teddy asked. Harry just smiled and nodded.

"Yes, you can, you want to buy them flowers?" Harry asked to which Harry nodded. Harry smiled and helped him pick flowers for them.

Teddy asked what each flower meant to Harry before picking up something that would suit his feelings toward his family. All in all, Teddy got them familial and thank you flowers. Hydrangeas for James since they were blue, Lilac of Izzie since they were… lilac, and tulips for both Daphne and Andromeda.

So, the two went home with their hands full of flowers and fruit. Harry watched as Teddy looked happy as he walked together with Harry carrying the two-piece hydrangea and lilac for Jay and Izzie.

As they reached the back alley, Harry shrunk the flowers and fruits and applied a stasis charm on them before putting them in his moleskin pouch.

"Ready to go home?" he asked Teddy who nodded excitedly.

"Do you think, they'll like the flowers?" Teddy asked Harry.

Harry looked at his godson, offering his hand for Teddy to hold.

"They'll love it, Teddy, don't worry" Harry assured his godson as he held Teddy's hand and the two apparated near Potter Manor.

As they landed a few paces away from the door, Harry took out the flowers and enlarged them again, giving Teddy two to hold. Teddy held the flowers carefully as they walked towards the front door.

The door opened as Harry neared the entrance, he could hear his wife walking towards the door.

"Harry?" Daphne called and stopped as a flower-filled Harry and Teddy handed her flowers. Daphne smiled and took Teddy's flower he gave and took the bouquet from Harry. She placed a kiss on Teddy's cheeks and a peck on Harry's lips.

"Just a peck?" Harry asked teasingly.

"Later" Daphne mouthed as she kneeled down and hugged Teddy. She placed another kiss on both of his cheeks before pulling him.

"Thank you, Teddy, I love them and I love you too!" she said. Teddy smiled and nodded.

"You're welcome, Mama Daphne! I love you too" Teddy said as he hugged Daphne again.

"Where's Grandma Andy?" Teddy asked bouncing from his heels. Daphne smiled and stood up.

"She's with the twins in their room" Daphne answered as she cradled the flowers.

"Dada Harry, I need the flowers, pleaseeeee," Teddy asked. Harry chuckled as he handed him the flowers. Teddy was about to run but Harry called him.

"Don't run just yet, Teddy" Harry said amused at his godson's excitement.

"Annie" Daphne called to their head elf. A soft pop appeared, and Annie materialized.

"Kindly escort Teddy to the twin's room Annie and help him with the flowers please," Daphne said, the flowers in Teddy's arms floated and Annie nodded.

"Can I go now? Pleaseeee" Teddy said, the couple chuckled and nodded.

"No running!"

"Be careful!"

The two said as Teddy bolted out to where the twins and his grandma were, with Annie following him.

Harry and Daphne chuckled as Teddy ran. Harry's hands went to his wife's waist and pulled her in for a kiss.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

"How are the twins?" Harry asked as the two walked towards the sitting room. Harry took out the pizza and fruits from his mole pouch and enlarged them. They called an elf and asked them to put the food in the kitchen for a while.

"They're fine, was just feeling antsy but fine nonetheless" Daphne answered. Harry gave a sigh of relief and sagged at the chair. He had been thinking about it since he and Teddy went out for the day. It was good to hear their children were fine.

"Now, how was your day with Teddy?" So, Harry recounted with enthusiasm, the day he spent with his godson.

That night Teddy had dinner with his family and told them about how amazing it was to fly with Dada Harry, their trip to Muggle London, and his newfound interest in flowers and their meaning. Years later, Teddy's interest in flowers would extend to expressing his feelings to Victoire and eventually, confessing it to her with his own words.
