13. photographs
Shinichi didn't like to take pictures of himself, it was his parents who did. His house had many photo albums, but when they left to go travelling to fulfil their wanderlust, the pictures slowly stopped. He barely had pictures of himself, it was Ran who had it and those old news paper stories of his achievements
But now,
Now he was Conan. He had many pictures with his friends, often taken by Ran or the professor, even the shounen tantei-dan and Kogoro took photos of him.
Shinichi was lonely, Conan had a family he always wanted. Shinichi had the fame and fortune, Conan had everything he ever wanted.
But he knew, he could only have one. Either Kudo Shinichi or Edogawa Conan.
For now, he looks through these empty photo albums, empty of his life as Shinichi, as he begins to fill up a new one.
The day he has to decide who to leave behind, will be the most painful day in his life.
