16. Forgetting
Sometimes...
Sometimes I forget that I'm Kudou Shinichi...
That I'm not Edogawa Conan, member of the Detective Boys, Mascot of Division One MPD. That I'm Ran-neechan's little brother that walks home with her after school. Forget that I'm not just Mouri Kogoro's little assistant and aspiring detective.
I forget that I'm still alive.
Kudou Shinichi, the heisei holmes, who's parents are Kudou Yukiko and Kudou Yuusaku. The detective otaku and Ran's and Sonoko's childhood friend.
Maybe he really did die that day in tropical land when Gin poisoned him.
But I still remember, that I'm still me, I exist as who I am, Edogawa Conan and Kudou Shinichi. Two people loved by his friends and family. One that will seize to exist when the time comes.
But for now, I can only hope that one day, I can be me again.
But who am I?
