For shame I don't own Naruto, but I have read all the manga up to date and seen all the episodes up to date.
Chapter 1: The Letter
Sakura awoke with a sense of hopelessness and dread. Everything up to this point in her life had been for nothing. Her mission had come to an end. She would have to return to her true home, on the other side of the gate. She dreaded that existence, if one would call it one.
Eternum had always existed and would forever break all those who were born to the different clans that lived within its prison gates. The city existed apart from the world, but the individuals within it were forced to live in worlds they could never truly be part of. They were watchers and recorders, meant to record history but never interact with the real world. However, Sakura had failed.
She had been sent by the founder to record history in the shinobi era. This time period was a death sentence. When Eternans crossed through the gate they lost all of their abilities and memories, only through living did the memories return. The life of a shinobi was not fit for Eternans. They all held one of three bloodlines: the seers, the reapers, or the chronos. To be born with more than one blood line was an automatic execution. Sakura carried all three bloodlines, which gave her the ability to recognize all of her comrades in the six hidden shinobi villages: the leaf village, the hidden sand, the hidden mist village, the hidden sound village, and the hidden rain village. This knowledge gave her hope, but she knew the war was coming. She had seen the deaths of those whom she had cared for before she was reborn in this era. She was their murderer.
The creeper, a virus that infiltrated the cells of enemy and then sealed the Chakra, was soon to be released. The hidden village of the sand had allied with the hidden village of the leaf. This village was to be released by secret carriers who were spies put in place. Many innocent lives were to be lost, but the battle for domination had reached a point where peaceful negotiations were no longer possible. Orochimaru had amplified the power of the hidden rain village with his forbidden arts, which with the sound ninja strength could easily topple the weakened leaf village. Konoha had been allied with sand, which equalized the battlefield. Thee hidden mist village had not allied itself with either side leaving the war at a standstill.
However Sakura had foreseen the future. The technology of the future and science had been "discovered" in all the hidden shinobi villages. This had been the founder's handiwork. Had Sakura's mother been alive she could have stopped him, but the king had become a tyrant, whose evils was boundless. Daeman's actions could only be kept in check by the general, her mother. Her mother had lost her life to save Sakura's. Sayuri had been exiled in total isolation in Tartars, but they admiral still came. Sayuri had married a reaper and had become pregnant. Her daughter would carry all three bloodlines. This meant her death upon birth, but her mother had given her life instead. Sakura's existence always seemed undeserving to her for that reason. Over the years she had fought and lived to complete her mother's dream to overthrow the founder, but every fight was lost. Eventually Sakura's body became fully prosthetic after the countless battles had taken their toll on her. Sakura looked at herself and realized, come tomorrow she would loose her true body and her identity. She looked out the window and saw the sun was high in the sky. It seemed she would be later than Kakashi normally was.
