Hi again everyone! Glad so many people enjoyed the first part of this story and I hope everyone is excited for part 2. I finally caught up with all of season 3. Shinso's part wasn't as big as I though it would be but I'll take it. On that note this will be from the point of view of the mind controlling good noodle we all know and love. How many parts will this story likely have? Don't honestly know myself but I'll let you know when we get there. Relationships.

Relationships were an entirely new thing for Shinso to try and figure out but he was determined to do just that if it could help him on his journey.

Not in an unappreciative way either because they were something he sincerely wanted since he was a kid. It was thanks to Izuku that he finally had his first real friendship at least. His own classmates back in his other class were more like semi friendly acquaintances to him. Sure they tried to make small talk with him now and again but it never went anywhere. What kind of friendship could he label what he had with the former class 1-A grape hero in training? He wasn't really sure yet but so far he made for a good sparring partner.

"Maybe sparring partner is a little to generous a term. We aren't really punching each other in these." Shinso thought.

Mineta was currently throwing multiple of his sticky ball projectiles with slingshots to Shinso's left and a tennis ball machine firing off randomly to his right. This made for good aim training and reflex training for them both. For every non sticky tennis ball that flew at him, he would try grabbing it and launching it at the smaller boy.

It was only week three into their classroom swap and so far things weren't too shaky. In the case of Shinso everyone in class-1A minus Bakugo had welcomed him with open arms as Mineta promised they would. It was one thing to see them fight or hear how they were like from Izuku. Actually spending time with them was a fun experience in it's own way. Under the tutelage of Aizawa, Shinso was getting physically stronger as well as a better fighter. Even before the swap he had done a bit of working out to get buffer. He wasn't obscenely muscular nor wanted to be but he was definitely a far cry from the lanky noodle he was in the beginning first year of UA.

Looking over at his already panting partner he shortly considered what it would be like to have him as a sidekick. The smaller boy wasn't a powerhouse by any stretch but his sticky grapes could keep someone in place while Shinso tried to get them to talk.

What kind of jobs could they even do if that was the case? He could bring the fear and mind games while the other kept them distracted to an extent. Like the power of Mineta's grape stickies, his own power had it's limits.

One of the reasons he didn't pass the entrance exams was an example of that after all.

He could run into someone who either was naturally a mute, deaf, or couldn't speak which are all factors for him to use his ability. In the case of the exams they fought remote controlled robots that didn't need these functions unlike humans. When or if he became a hero by some miracle then his quirks upsides along with the downs would be known to the world. The best counter to this problem was to logically have a good partner on the field. One who could help cover these weaknesses.

Would Mineta be able to be the cover he was looking for in a teammate? It was too early to tell right now of course but they had until graduation to form teams and such. Shinso wasn't in a rush to decide. He pulled out a white flag from his pocket to signal they take a break.

"Okay let's get some food. I think we both need a break now." Shinso said to the smaller teen.

Nodding in agreement both boys sat on the gym bleachers and pulled out their respective snacks to share. Oddly because of Mineta's new diet he had develop a second grape weapon on his head. The grapes now had 3 purple in the front and 3 green in the back. Upon testing them out a bit they seemed to be a little less sticky then the purple. When slammed or stepped on hard enough though they made a gooey mist that could temporarily blind someone if it got in their eyes or slip if stepped on. The down side to this new addition to his kit is that even though just like the blindness the slipperiness was extremely temporary. Even so if it could make a target too slimy to hold onto if too much was used.

"Has Mei finished up our outfits yet?" Shinso asked

"She said she should be finished soon. I just hope she didn't add any weird extras. I don't want to embarrass myself in front of my friends if it does something weird." Mineta replied.

They sat comfortably snacking for a bit after that before Shinso made a comment almost like an after thought with how nonchalant it was.

"You mean mostly in front of Tsyu right?"

Mineta's face went red at that.

"Am I that obvious?" The grape hero was speaking mostly to his lap now.

"Very, but don't be embarrassed everyone gets a crush at some point." Shinso replied.

This made the smaller boy raise an eyebrow at him.

"Even you?"

"Do you really have to look that surprised? Yes." Shinso paused and looked around the gym quickly as if checking for ease droppers to something top secret.

"She can be a bit bossy but she's smart. I kind of like the determination in your class vice president. Definitely not bad looking either." A small tint of pink dusted the mind control hero's face.

"You like Momo? Can't say I saw that one coming but I say go for it. You'll likely have better chances then me and Tsyu." Mineta gave a thumbs up.

"Thanks but you shouldn't sell yourself to short, pun not intended. Out of everyone she's actually been asking the most about how you might be doing in class. I think she cares about you a lot. I only know about romance from cliche movies and a few divorce court shows I've seen but maybe give her something as a gift. You should know what kind things she likes with how long you've known each other right?"

Thinking over his friend's words he nodded but was still unsure how to approach this.

A real hero doesn't hesitate right? He had to approach this like a hero mission. Even if he isn't in the top 20s when it comes to his future hero or sidekick career he also still needs to be an example. He recalled the lectures on this fact that each of them no matter their status had to set examples to others. A love confession might not be the same as fighting bad guys but it was it own type of challenge. If he couldn't take on a challenge that even non-quirk having human could conquer what good was he?

The next day

Mineta decided that since they were still second years there was no need to rush with asking Tsyu out right away. After all with all the training, villain leagues on the move, and tests no one was likely even thinking of stuff like dating. He totally had plenty of time to make his move when he was ready.

This simple thought wound up being a jinx.

"MINETA!" Shinso's rarely loud voice surprised him by his locker. He was positive he wasn't there 5 seconds ago so it was extra surprising.

"AHHHH! I told you not to sneak up on me like that and why did you shout?!" It was honestly a mystery how such a tall guy who was wearing the equivalent of combat boots could be stealthy enough to sneak up on a person without making sound. He would be genuinely impressed if Shinso didn't use his powers for evil like this. Once more he was embarrassingly glad to be wearing a diaper under his clothes.

"Well I had news for you and I think your freak outs are funny when I'm bored so I shouted." Shinso said with a shrug.

Mineta rolled his eyes before replying.

"Asshole move but go on."

"Well there's a rumor going around that some new guy from the US named Heiken Kame wants to ask Tsyu out."

"I'm sorry, WHAT!? Are you just messing with me for the time I put jalapeno juice in your coffee?"

"Thanks for giving me flashbacks to that but no I mean it. Toru is a really loud gossip even when she's trying to be quiet and she was telling all the girls about it. I'm not really into gossip myself but they were teasing Tsyu about it. Its right out of those trashy manga love stories they've read with this scenario. That's at least what they were comparing it to anyway."

Using his phone to into the UA student website he found the name profile along with his power summary. Turtle power quirk? Pffft, who'd date a guy who looks like a turtle? I bet he looks like all wrinkly like plus wide like a turtle to. I might not be the most handsome but I look 1000 times better then a turtle..." Mineta thought this with smug confidence for an entire 1 minute before clicking his profile picture to get a look at this turtle.

...Wh..What?

"Hey Mineta what's the guy look like like?" The smaller teen was very silent and growing worryingly pale to Shinso. He was smiling one a minute ago and now seemed to almost not be breathing. He didn't even react when Shinso physically picked him up and turned him around so he could see what had stunned him. Now he had a clear view of the photo Mineta was looking at.

"Yeah, I kind of had a feeling he might look like that considering the other girls reaction." He thought internally. Shinso was more surprised Mineta was this shocked considering how he described the girls behavior. He had a shell that looked like cool armor on his back upper and lower torso. The guy had long brown hair and the face of a model. Webbed fingers and a slightly odd nose were the only real turtle-esque give away. Even then it didn't take away from his looks.

Mineta might be screwed.

"NO! I didn't think until I graduated that I'd have a nemesis but I can't back down from my first. I need to think of a gift and do this fast!"

And so an opponent for the frog girl's heart has appeared to face our grape hero. Will he succeed? Will there be a fight? Will I make Shinso/Momo in this fic or just make another fic for that specific ship? The future is hard to tell my friends. I know this was short but I wanted to get it out the way before the years end. There will more I'm just insanely slow on the update. When I started this I only was one season 4 to be honest and half finished the English dub for season 5. I hope I didn't screw up Shinso to much. See ya when I see ya and stay safe out there.
