This is the sequel to 'The Introduction' . If you haven't read it, go check it out. Also I found the pic for this story on google images, it has nothing to do with the story, but the dress Annabeth is wearing is the classiest thing I've ever seen! Also I'm changing Charlie to a girl, same name and everything tho. Enough boringness, too the story!

Chapter 1

Annabeth's POV

"Charlotte Athena Chase! Wake up!" I yelled to my daughter, she may be the smartest girl in her grade, but she was not a morning person.

"Okay mom!" She yelled down to me. She stumbled down the stairs and blinked at me.

"Did you make pancakes?" She asked expectedly

"Yes, but you need to get dressed to have them." I told her, holding up the platter of blue pancakes. Her face perked up at the sight of the blue pancakes, she ran up stairs in excitement, eager to change into her school clothes. A few minutes later she came running back down wearing a black blazer over a white shirt and dark blue jeans, her converse were sparkling white, her Blond hair was pulled back into a high ponytail. I was always impressed by her outfit choices, they were so mature and classy for someone of her age.

"Can I have my pancakes now?" she pleaded. She ate like Percy, eating anything and everything. Percy. I missed Percy so much, even though he had hurt me so many years ago.

*Flashback*

"Percy?" I said as I stepped inside our tiny apartment. We were 22 at the time and I was pregnant, I was going to tell Percy today. I walked into the tiny kitchen and saw Percy eating a cookie.

"Hi Wise Girl!" He said, kissing me on the cheek. Suddenly the doorbell rang.

"Who is that?" I asked him

"I dunno." He said, he walked to the door to open it. In the doorway was a blond girl with blue eyes, she looked at Percy and kissed him, she kissed him! Percy immediately pulled away and glared at her.

"Excuse me?" he said

"Percy? Don't you remember me?" she said

"No, please introduce yourself." he said, his hand inching toward his sword.

"It's me, Jessica. Your wife!" she said cheerfully to Percy.

"I'm his girlfriend." I said, pushing in front of Percy.

"I'm his wife!" she said, holding up a certificate with both her and Percy's signature's on it. I stared at it for a moment, then turned to Percy, who looked shooketh (sorry).

"I didn't marry you!" Percy said

"Yes you did, last sunday!" she said indignantly. I remembered that Percy had had a guys night out with Jason, Grover, Leo, and Frank last sunday.

"Get out" I told her

"Excuse me?" she said rudley.

"OUT!" I pointed to the door and she walked out.

"I promise Annabeth, I didn't mean it! It was a mistake!" Percy pleaded with me. I had a flashback to Bianca's words, of which I had heard 3 years ago 'you need to leave' I knew if I didn't leave it would end up bad.

"I'm leaving." I told him. With that I was backed up and gone. Carrying Percy's twin girls, Bianca and Charlotte. When they were 5 months old Bianca disappeared without a trace. When I asked the gods where she had gone they told me not to look into it. I was heartbroken for the second time.

*End of Flashback*

"Mom, it's time to go to school!" Charlie told me, seeing as she had finished her pancakes. I took one last quick look in the mirror, to make sure I looked as formal and businesslike as always. I ran an architectural firm in New York City. I was dressed in a white blouse and a gray pencil skirt, my white heels and tight bun pulled together the look. I hated dressing like this, but I was a powerful business woman and I needed to command respect and look classy at the same time. Charlie and I entered my car and I drove her to Goode Middle School, where she would be attending her first day of 7th grade.

"Bye mom!" she told me as she exited the car, walking toward the school. I watched as a girl with Long black hair pulled into a wrap around braid ponytail, she was wearing a leather jacket and black t-shirt, her black leggings and black converse splattered with silver paint completed the look. I watched as they began animatedly talking. I realized I was supposed to move forward in the drop-off line and hastily moved forward. A though in the back of my mind was nagging at me though. 'I know her'. I told myself as I drove to work. I don't know where from though.

Percy's POV

"Dad, are you excited? Last year, teaching!" my daughter told me. I was excited, I had been studying to get my PHD in Marine Biology for 12 years already, this was the last year I had to teach before I could graduate and get a job as a Marine Biologist.

"Yeah, all that work will finally pay off." Nico said from the driver's seat.

"Remind me again how you got through 7 years of law school?" I asked him. Nico had become a lawyer and was extremely successful.

"I studied with Will, what are you doing?" he said annoyed.

"I dunno, I just study and pass tests." I told him blankly.

"We are here." Bianca said

"Okay, thanks for the ride Nico." I told him

"You're welcome, I still don't understand why you need to get her 45 minutes before school starts." he said as he drove off in his expensive black sport's car.

"It's a teacher thing." I muttered as we walked in.

"Are you guys excited for 7th grade?" I asked Bianca and Marie, as Maria liked to be called.

"I'm excited to see Charlie again!" Bianca exclaimed

"I second that!" Marie said she was Nico and Will's adopted daughter, she was an oracle in training and was in line to replace Rachel whenever she retired from the job.

"Cool, well I need to go prepare my classroom before school starts, can you guys just hang out for a while?" I asked them. They shook their heads in agreement and immediately began to walk towards the library. I sighed, neither of them had dyslexia, they were extremely book-obsessed. It was annoying at times, but it kept them occupied, so whatever.
