Chapter 11 Princesses Wrath

The sound of Malty's slap echoed through the throne room and was quickly followed by another that was much louder than the first and another that was louder than that one.

''WHAT!''

SLAP!

''WERE!''

SLAP!

''YOU!''

SLAP!

''THINKING!''

SLAP!

Malty screamed as she slapped her father over and over, each slap was harder than the last, everyone watching flinched with each hit.

''Umm, shouldn't you two be trying to hold her back about now?'' Naofumi, he was starting to feel sorry for the guy.

''Your too kind Naofumi, but don't worry Malty's not just going to slap him'' said Eclair.

''A-alright, if you say so'' said Naofumi with a shrug.

When Malty calmed down enough to stop slapping the king his face had a bright red palm mark on it, but unfortunately, for him, Malty wasn't finished ''do you remember what mother said to you before she left'' she said in a tone of barely controlled rage, when he didn't answer she pressed on ''well do you?'' He still didn't answer ''well as it happens I was there, so I know what she said, she told you not to summon any heroes until she and the other royals came to an agreement, she also told you that if you summoned the Shield Hero to treat them especially well, since the Shield Hero is possibly the most important hero!''

The other Heroes began to voice their protest, but they were quickly silenced by two words.

''SHUT UP!''

The three heroes took a step back looking like frightened rabbits as the king swallowed a lump in his throat and spoke up ''Malty, my dear, I know your upset-''

''Upset doesn't begin to cover how angry I am you stupid bastard!'' Malty screamed slapping him again ''you don't even have any idea what you almost did do you! Because the only thing you care about is your stupid vendetta against the Shield Hero, you don't care about what happens to me or Mother or Melty, all you care about is getting revenge on a man who did nothing to you!''

''I do care about my family!'' Trash roared back.

''No you don't!'' Malty screamed, seething ''if you cared about your family, you wouldn't have put mother and Melty in possibly the worst position in the world and then tried to make it worst, just to get revenge on someone who did nothing to you except be tangentially connected to your sisters death!'' This caused Trash's eyes to widen surprised ''yeah that's right I know, I went to school in Faubrey remember, while I was there I looked up records and I learned why you hate Demi-Humans and since the Shield Hero is their Hero you hate him by proxy!''

''Then you should understand why we can't let him and his Demi-Humans-'' Trash screamed.

''One bad person doing one bad thing is not an excuse to hate everything associated with them!'' Malty screamed ''that's even if that Demi-Human did kill her, what if that Demi-Human didn't kill her what then?''

''And what if one killed your sister, what then!'' Trash roared, his voice echoing through the throne room, everyone gave Trash a horrified expression, except for Malty who was expressionless, but her eyes burned with rage and hatred, after a few seconds Trash seemed to recognise what he did ''M-Malty my dear, I-I Didn't-''

PUNCH!

Malty socked him right in the face, knocking the throne over and sending Trash flying into a wall, his nose dripping with blood, she then marched over and grabbed him by the collar, hauling him up she slammed him into the wall and glared directly into his eyes.

''If a Demi-Human killed Melty, god forbid, yes I would be angry, yes I would hate the one who did it, but no I wouldn't use it as an excuse to hate their race and everything associated with them!'' Malty cried ''if you want to start a war with Siltvelt go into town and recruit people do not drag Melromarc or my family, yes my family which you are no longer part of, down with you because of your quite frankly stupid vendetta, do you understand me?'' When Trash didn't answer Malty slammed him into the wall again harder this time ''do you understand me yes or no!''

''Yes, yes I understand you!'' Trash cried.

With that she dropped her father to the floor, before strolling over to Thresher and socking him in the face knocking him unconscious, she then turned to the three Heroes and walked towards them, with the three of them flinching at her approach.

''Alright who wants to start?'' She asked calmly, when none of them spoke she continued ''none of you? Alright then I'll start… IDIOTS!''

SLAP!

Malty slapped all three of them at once three stooges style ''same question I asked him, what we're you three thinking!''

''W-well when we we're called to the palace with the news Naofumi raped Lesty we honestly believed it, we didn't think she had a reason to lie at the time'' stated Itsuki, with Ren nodding along.

''So it didn't occur to you that you've only been here two days and the people who we recruited to join your party are experienced adventurers who would be much higher levels than you three so even if he did try she'd easily be able to fend him off, which kind of conflicts with the story she was telling!'' Malty seethed out.

''W-well it didn't, u-until you explained it…'' Ren squeaked.

Motoyasu who hadn't spoken and was mostly looking puzzled through this whole event gained a brightened expression ''oh, I get it now''

''Well at least one of you is admitting to fault'' said Malty, forgetting who was talking.

''Princess how did Naofumi force you to do this?'' Motoyasu asked, this caused Malty to stop in her tracks.

''What?''

''Did he threaten to do something to your sister? Did sneak poison into your food or drink and is withholding the antidote unless you do this for him?'' Motoyasu continued as Ren and Itsuki looked at him wide eyed while Malty's eye started to twitch

''Huh?''

''Or is it brainwash, does he have some kind of Brainwashing Shield and is forcing you to do this?'' Motoyasu continued ''it's ok Princess, you can tell me, whatever it is I'm sure-''

SLAP!

Motoyasu fell to the floor holding his face crying in pain ''you know what, that's it, I'm done with this'' said Malty hotly ''talking to you three, him especially'' she pointed to Motoyasu still on the ground holding his face ''is like talking to a brick wall its pointless'' she started to walk back to Naofumi, Eclair and Rishia, but stopped as she started to pass Lesty and whispered to her ''I know you didn't notice but I watched you in school, because I know what kind of person you are, but I'm going to give you a chance, because you are in deeper water than you think you are, so I advise you get out now before you drown'' with that she passed Lesty and walked back to her party and they left the throne room slamming the door behind them as they left.

After leaving the throne room Malty let out a calming sigh her hand resting on her throat ''you alright?'' Eclair asked.

''Yes'' said Malty quietly ''but I think I might be writing for a few days''

''Don't worry, we'll translate to Naofumi for you'' said Rishia giving her a pat on the back.

Malty then gave Naofumi a hug ''I'm so, so sorry for what just happened'' she said.

Blushing Naofumi hugged her back ''hey its ok, you didn't do it and you saved me, you proved my innocence, thank you for that''

''My pleasure'' said Malty as they broke off their hug.

She then gestured for them all to follow her, Malty lead them to her room, where the Shadows were waiting for her, Malty sat down on her bed and looked around, the Shadows were bowing to her, while Eclair and Rishia stood next to the bed smiling at her, Naofumi was stood next to the bed too, but he was gazing at the ground looking embarrassed it was rather cute to see him look so bashful ''we have a lot to talk about and there are a lot of things we need to explain to you Naofumi''

So that's the chapter, I hope you liked it, I think this ones rather short, I just wanted this one to be Malty's rage fuelled rant I hope this wasn't too harsh or going too far, if that's possible, anyways I hope you enjoyed it.
