The next day, Phoebe had brought Podcast to an area where the device she found in the underground lab could be tested and Podcast set up a few target cans and bottles as Phoebe got the device ready, putting the bottom plate on.

"Welcome to Rust City." Podcast comments as he walked over to Phoebe

"Where they processed all the raw selenium?" Phoebe asks

"Pretty much." Podcast responds

Phoebe carefully got the device onto her back, and it had all sorts of firing modes seemingly as she put it on.

"how'd you know how to fix that thing?" Podcast asks as he grabbed some Ecto-Goggles with a camera addon attached to it. "I mean, no offense, but you are twelve."

"I kind of met my grandfather last night." Phoebe responds. "he showed me what to do to fix this thing apparently called a proton pack."

"No way. Was he, like, howling and clanking chains?" Podcast asks

"No." Phoebe responds. "That'd be weird."

Phoebe turne daround and says, "Switch me on."

Podcast carefully walks over and reaches, flicking a switch on the back of the proton pack, causing it to emit a humming noise and the lights on the cyclotron spinning as Podcast stepped back and to the side of Phoebe.

The proton pack hums as Phoebe pulled off the particle thrower/neutrona wand, having a bit of trouble because of just how many attachments cause of the alternate firing modes it has were on it. Podcast pulls out his mic and began recording for his podcast as Phoebe turns on the Neutrona Wand, and extended the barrel.

"Safety's off." Phoebe comments

"Her feet are planted, her face is poised." Podcast said into his mic. "Will this be the moment of her death? Nobody knows..."

Phoebe took a deep breath and opened fire, the neutrona wand shooting out it's particle stream, the targets sparking and making whistle noises because of the damage being done.

Phoebe had a bright smile on her face as she was still shooting.

"YES!" Podcast shouts while holding out his mic as he laughed and cheered

When Phoebe ceased fire, she shook one of her hands a little as Podcast put his mic back into place.

"Oh my gods...that is the best thing i've ever seen." Podcast says, taking a picture with the camera on the goggles

Phoebe looked at him as he shook the photo that was printed in order to help it develop.

"Did I hit it?" Phoebe comments

Podcast lifted up his goggles.

"You didn't hit it." Podcast responds. "You destroyed it!"

Both the thing the targets were on and the targets were gone.

"It doesn't even exist anymore!" Podcast added. "I gotta try that thing."

There was suddenly some weird noises coming from a nearby building.

"What was that?" Phoebe questions

"Probably a pigeon or something." Podcast responds

There was suddenly some other noises, not at all pigeon-like, coming from the foundry.

"What is that?" Phoebe questions. "Come on."

The two went to investigate, Podcast grabbing a bag that had a few things in it. One of which happened to be a muon trap.

When getting into the foundry, they looked around. The door then shut behind the two and the place was giving off a creepy vibe.

"I gotta come back here for my Halloween episode." Podcast comments

All sorts of pipes had full on bites taken out of them that were dripping with blue ectoplasmic residue. After some exploring, Phoebe poked her head around a corner and saw some weird, blue, nulti-limed ghost up and trying to eat some pipes.

"A ghost..." Phoebe comments quietly

"A-Ar-Aren't you just a little bit freaked out right now?" Podcast asks in a whisper

"Over stimulation calms me." Phoebe responded

The two quickly ran over and ducked behind a pipe for some cover, but Podcast accidentally knocked something over with his foot. The ghost looked back, but not seeing them, shrugged and got back to munching on a pipe.

"I got a plan..." Podcast whispers as he pulled out the Aztec Death Whistle

"Wait, don't-" Phoebe starts

Podcast stood up and gave it a blow, causing it to produce the loud and terrifying noise which caught the ghost's attention. However, all the ghost did in response was start shooting out metal bits like bullets as a form of fighting which caused Phoebe and Podcast to duck back down for cover. Phoebe then turns on the pack and stood up, trying to shoot at the ghost, but it went behind a pole.

"Get the trap!" Phoebe ordered

Podcast nodded and reached into the bag to pull out the trap.

The ghost poled it's head out and Phoebe shot. The more it flew around the area, Phoebe kept trying to shoot at him. Podcast pulled out the trap.

The stream wrapped around the ghost and it began squirming around, trying to break free.

"I GOT HIM!" Phoebe comments

Podcast got the trap ready to go out under the ghost, placing the pedal down. However, when he tossed the trap out, it fell to the side.

"NUGGETS!" Podcast snapped, pulling the trap back over as fast as he could

"HURRY!" Phoebe shouts, still having ot have the stream wrapped around the ghost

The pack began peeping and suddenly, the pack forcefully ceased fire and went into an overheating mode, allowing the ghost's escape as it flew through the ceiling, Phoebe breathing heavily.

Back at the farmhouse, Trevor and Rex were fixing up the engine of the car they knew as Ecto-1B, still having no clue what that meant. Sighing, he got into the driver's seat and closed the door.

"Okay..." Trevor comments

He then tries to turn on the engine, but to no avail. He tried again, no luck.

"Come on, darling. You can do this." Rex comments, lightly patting the car

Trevor took a deep breath and turned the key again. Suddenly, without either of them knowing, something invisible pushed an out of place wire back into place perfectly which started the engine pack up and that same invisible force closed the hood, causing them both to raise an eyebrow.

The two looked at each other before Trevor roared off out of the barn.

He then began going for all sorts of drifts and swerves around the wheat field.

"YEAH!" Trevor shouts

He noticed he was heading for a bump and went wide eyed.

"SHIT!" Trevor comments

The Ecto-1B roared up the bump and landed back on the road and he pulled it over next to where Phoebe and Podcast happened to be and Rex rolled down a window.

"Hey." Trevor says

"Hola." Rex comments

"Hey." Phoebe responds. "This is Podcast, he's a friend of mine."

"You have a friend?" Trevor comments, raising an eyebrow

"You have a car?" Phoebe questioned

"It's a Cadillac." Trevor responds as Phoebe put the device she had in the back of the Ecto-1B

"Hey, dude, we need a ride." Podcast comments. "Know how to drive?"

"Not really." Phoebe comments before leaning over to Podcast. "He failed his driver's test three whole times."

After some silence, Trevor says, "Get in the back."

After the pack was in the back of the Ecto, Phoebe and Podcast got into the back of the Ecto-1B. With that, Trevor drove off.
