(rainy day activities) with Rose and her twin but set in the Duke universe. It could be a conversation between them where they discuss Jake and if Rose wants to divorce Duke or not. Or literally any other plot you would like to write about.

Anon, I gotta know, in this universe, are you on Jake's side or Duke's? Or, if you can't pick, this AU doesn't have to be cohesive. I can write situations where she picks one over the other and then vice versa

Side note: does anyone have another prompt game like this one but with some different prompts so that we can shake it up a bit? Thanks!

Rainy day activities. Warnings for this one: discussions of infidelity, drinking

Rose knew that she couldn't outrun her problems but leaving the country seemed like a damn good start. She went to see her sister who lived in France because Rachelle was elegant and composed. She was the type of kid who would have competed in beauty pageants, if their mother had believed in that kind of thing. It felt like just yesterday that Rachelle had been in New York, visiting her. When they had gone to that ill-fated bar and Rose had met Jake Long once again. Rose was relieved when they touched down at noon on a rainy day and ran straight into her twin's arms.

"Come on," Rachelle said, "I've got food being delivered to the apartment and I've already stocked up on the wine. You sounded like you needed to get into the wine."

Rose nodded. There was nothing else she needed to do right now. She was in Southern France to enjoy the food and her sister and the wine. Rachelle didn't really know what was going on but she knew enough to pour a healthy sized glass for Rose when they arrived back at her home. Rose splayed out on the couch and Rachelle sat opposite her. Rose hated when she did that, because it made Rose feel studied.

"Spit it out," Rachelle said. "Is something going on with Duke?"

"No, of course not!"

"Because Duke's perfect," Rachelle said, with that level of desire that Rose was used to when it came to her husband. At first, because Duke was just physically beautiful, but there was so much more about him that made him just an all around amazing person. His sweet demeanor, the fact that he baked, his headfirst attitude that made him bring home flowers on random Tuesdays and fix the leaking sink before Rose even knew that it was broken.

"Because Duke's perfect," Rose echoed, and that gnawing feeling of guilt exploded in her stomach. Duke was perfect and he was perfect for her. So, what the hell was she doing? "And I'm … not."

Rachelle's eyebrows arched and Rose grimaced, gulping at the wine. She knew that she couldn't tell Rachelle everything. Rachelle knew about the nightmares that Rose had always had - the dreams about the boy, the fighting, the leaving. But, Rose couldn't tell her twin that they were memories of an actual past life. She would sound insane. But, Rose knew that her decisions would be hard to understand without all of the context. Hell, they were hard for her to understand with the context.

"Rose, what did you do?"

"His name is Jake."

"Goddamn, Rose."

Rose knew that. She sat up and nudged her wine glass toward Rachelle and Rachelle grabbed onto it.

"Today, we drink. It's the most constructive hobby to have right now."

Rachelle rolled her eyes at Rose but took a long glug of the Chardonnay.
