So this is my first official fanfiction work and yep it's about the meeting between Kirby and Samus in Dreamland 3. I just like these two as a friendship duo. I'm kinda new to writing (or typing) something like this so I hope you enjoy reading this.

1997 -Kirby's DreamLand 3-

No idea where she ended up at but for certain this planet is way different compared to the other planets she traveled to in the past. The most obvious is that this planet is shaped like a star compared to the round shaped planets she's been in as part of being the Intergalactic Space Warrior. That's just the life of Samus Aran. Once getting the area viewed out of the way, she realized there are Metroids on this planet which made this worse considering they're all the way at a different location so she couldn't reach them. But suddenly one by one each Metroid went off her radar, but how can that happen? There's no way they could have died on their own from where they are so who is doing this if she's not there?

That's when she found her answer in the form of the pink puffball known as Kirby.

Kirby, once ridding the Metroid with the ice ability, would be able to find an exit out of this cave and once finding that exit he sees the Bounty Hunter in her suit and with her helmet off, revealing her face and long hair. Samus went completely speechless after seeing Kirby up front and what he looks like, still questioning if he's the one who took care of those Metroids. But never doubt the round small ones that could be powerful and heroic ones. Kirby went up to her as she realized there's a heart star she found above her head after the Metroids were done so good guess it's what he wants. "I believe this is for you." Samus said while pointing at that heart star as Kirby nodded and floated up to grab it. "So..it looks like you're quite busy with what you're doing. All I have to say is thanks for taking care of those Metroids." Samus said as Kirby smiled, floated up and hugged her which made the bounty hunter surprised as well as blush a little but smiled and hugged him back before Kirby would leave to continue his adventure to save the day and his planet.

And that did happen as the pink puffball of heroicness would be able to defeat the Dark Matter leader known as Zero, getting things back to the way they are in the planet known as Pop Star. Samus luckily would get her ship working and able to return back to her own area. Though she hopes to see Kirby again when she's not doing her work as a bounty hunter and taking out dangerous enemies that are causing trouble. Hopefully the next time those two meet she would want to know more about who he is and what he can do that made him the hero of his planet. And at a time where the two of them aren't busy.

And thankfully they got the chance to meet again two years later…

1999 -Super Smash Bros-

The first ever Super Smash Bros tournament has been created as 12 fighters from different worlds come together to compete against one another. One of the fighters invited would be Samus herself, which intrigued her so much but saw this as a way to meet others from other places and fight them at their best. And this would be the best way to get away from something she's always been doing so without a doubt she accepted this invite and headed over to the location.

Kirby himself also got invited to this tournament after waking up from bed to see this invite letter outside his door after he opened said door. He got excited about this fighting tournament as a way to make new friends from different worlds and show what he's capable of in fighting. He got on his warp star after a few minutes of eating some cake and headed off to the location of this Smash tournament.

After landing her ship in an open field, Samus got out of the ship and looked at the location she's in. She sees the mansion she's been told in the letter to go to as that will be the place she'll be living in for as long as this tournament lasts. She would walk over to the door and enter inside the mansion where it is a very huge place. Since there's no one in the room currently she decided to sit down on one of the chairs in the living room and wait for anyone else to arrive.

Kirby safely landed his warp star down as he now looked up at the big mansion he's now going to be living in for this whole tournament and he's amazed at how huge it is. So as he entered the mansion he only saw one person and it's a very familiar person he met during his adventures. The familiar look of the woman he met two years ago when he had to freeze those Metroids during the time Dark Matter and Zero invaded his home.

When she heard the door open Samus spotted the person entering the place and behold; the pink puffball who helped her with the Metroid problem on his planet. This might be a coincidence to her that the one person she wanted to see again after their first encounter is also in this tournament thing but really it might be because he's a skilled fighter in his own way.

The two stared at each other as Kirby eventually went up and took a seat on the couch, silence filling the room until Samus began to speak. "So.. it looks like you and I are both in this Smash Bros tournament." she said as she looked at Kirby who nodded in response with a smile on his face. "It also appears we have met again after our first encounter. That is if you remember me. I'm sure after two years you would have forgotten me." Samus stated as she just sat there while Kirby gave out his response. "Poyo poyo!" Kirby said, basically stating he does remember Samus when she was in Pop Star. "Oh! Well that's good to know that you still know me. I'm sure you need to know my name since I never said that when we met. But my name's Samus Aran." she said while going for a handshake. Kirby would accept said handshake with his stubby arm as he responded back. "Kirby!" he said in such a cute way while smiling happily at meeting his new friend. "Kirby? That's a nice name for someone like you." Samus said while she smiled while Kirby blush a bit more from the compliment.

After that the two would talk more until more people arrived and would meet with the one who organized this fighting tournament, Master Hand, as the first Super Smash Bros tournament would begin. From there Kirby and Samus would always hangout in some way, whether training, fighting, or even talk when they weren't busy. And after the first tournament would end the two would find a way to communicate or even visit one another in their respective home. Since then there would be more Smash tournaments with four in 2001, 2008, 2014, and 2018 which would be more time for the two and their great friendship.

2018 -Super Smash Bros Ultimate-

With the whole Galeem and Dharkon problem now settled, the tournament officially began. So that meant for the duo of Kirby and Samus to continue being at their best as fighters and keep that amazing friendship they made since meeting one another. To think it all started when Kirby got rid of the Metroids on his planet, in the process of meeting Samus. Then two years later they met again when the first tournament was beginning which now made such a nice friendship. That right there is a great start to a friendship.

"Keep up on them, Kirby! They're almost out!" shouted Samus as she and Kirby were in a team battle. "Poyo!" Kirby pretty much says he's on it as he copied one of his opponent's abilities and eventually got them out with the power of his hammer after enough damage. Samus would blast the other opponent out, cementing the team's victory in this battle. "Blue Team.. wins!" shouted the announcer as the duo would do their winning pose. "Another great battle in the books. You did an amazing job, Kirby." Samus said as she picked him up to properly face him. "Poyo Samus!" Kirby said happily that she did an amazing job as well. The duo hugged before leaving the field to relax. Goes to show that a friendship like this is still strong after many years together. And all from that fateful meeting in Pop Star started this amazing friendship.

Again really new when it comes to making something like this but I hope you enjoy it. ^^
